Xacalli is a Chef Driven Modern Mexican Restaurant that highlights regional Mexican cuisine. Located in historical mining town of Silverado Canyon, in eastern Orange County next to the cities of Rancho Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Lake Forest. Beautiful drive from Orange, Irvine and Tustin.

The community of Silverado with her majestic mountains, state designated scenic highway is a hidden gem located at the boundaries of Cleveland National Forest.

Xacalli's aim is to bring people and food together with authentic dishes that are modern and visually beautiful as well as entice your taste buds. We serve plates with the intention of sharing family style. Whether at the bar or in our dining room, we aim to showcase our passion for service excellence. Executive Chef Vincent Espinoza sources quality ingredients to create a seasonal menu alongside a craft bar. We’ve been many times. The food is always excellent. Love all the flavors. The service was slow however. It took 45 mins from the time we sat down to getting our cocktails. Granted, they were down by 2 staff members during our visit. Once the food came, it more than made up for the delay. Our guests loved it and we will all visit again soon.

The food is exceptional. The quality of ingredients and sophisticated combinations are a treat after the homogenized fare of OC’s so-called fine dining restaurants. Even the drive up through beautiful Silverado Canyon adds to the experience

An absolutely fabulous experience The food was great very interesting The camerones was very good The Caesar was quite different but I enjoyed it and then the churros with vanilla cream and chocolate ganache was terrific. Our server Zach was excellent knew all the dishes explained all great service great time thank you !!

This is a real rare hidden gem. Went on a Thursday and it was empty, but that wasn’t the bad sign it usually is. (Hopefully we were there on an off night because no one can survive on 5 tables a night.) We had the crudo, nopales, enchiladas, romanesco, churros and cheesecake. All home runs. Will definitely be back soon.

Xacalli is an incredible dining experience. The location is perfection and every bite a little bit of heaven. Our service was friendly and informative. Each and every time we have eaten at Xacalli we can't believe something that noteworthy exists so close to home. Honors to the chef, waitstaff and bartender. Five stars is not a high enough rating.

I visited for brunch to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and from the first bite to the last, we were completely blown away. Every dish was beautifully crafted, bursting with flavor, and executed with an attention to detail that is increasingly rare to find. What made the experience even more memorable was Chef Vincent taking the time to come out and speak with us personally. In just a few minutes, it was clear how much passion, care, and respect he has for his craft. That dedication shines through in every aspect of the meal and is unmistakably reflected in the food itself. This wasn't just a great brunch, it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in years. We left already looking forward to our next visit, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
