We had a lovely, relaxing dinner out on the patio. Our server Kevin was very knowledgeable and the bartender made a custom cocktail for my husband just to his liking. We appreciated how pickle forward several of the dishes were - just enough acid and sweetness to balance the salt and fat. Especially liked the lamb ribs and stracciatella toast with Calabrian honey. Elk was cooked perfectly - it’s a much leaner meat than beef so not as juicy, but still tender and flavorful.

We made an 8pm reservation last night after the Teton Music Festival. When we got there it was very quiet with hardly anyone sitting at tables (perhaps because it was so late). The host was polite and told us it would take a few minutes to set up the table we wanted outside and that we could have a seat at the bar if we wanted. I sat at the bar to order a cocktail. The bartender (a young blond woman) was busy making drinks. I sat there for 5 minutes and she never once asked what I wanted or at least to say she’d be with me in a few minutes. I got up and went to my table. The waiter and busboy were very kind. The food, while it tasted quite good (I had the salmon) was lacking in presentation. The plate just looked a bit sad. Salmon and mashed potatoes with poor presentation and no greens. Overall, disappointed for the amount of money we spent.

Thanks for visiting us, Ravi. We're sorry to hear that your experience at Wild Pine didn't meet your expectations. We understand your frustration with the wait time and the lack of attention even when we were occupied. We appreciate your feedback and will work on these areas for improvement. We loved our dinner at Wild Pine. It was not crowded and we had the best server who really knew the menu, the wines and just created the best experience. We were grandparents, daugher and son-in-law and a seven-year-old grandson. The chef made the little guy's pasta so it came out with the appetizers - perfect. We loved the trout, short ribs and elk pasta. When it came time for dessert, we had to try the s'mores dessert but hardly got a bite because the little guy would not share. Thank you, Wild Pine. It was a very special dinner for our family.

The food was excellent and the servers were friendly but did not appear to be trained. There was no host to greet us when we arrived and finally a server seated us. It was a long time before our drink order was taken. One appetizer arrived but other hadn’t appeared 20 minutes later so we cancelled it. There was no NA beer on the menu. The food was excellent - I just wonder if anyone was managing the house.

Hello Kenosha, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our food and found our servers friendly. Unfortunately we were short-staffed due to unforeseen circumstances and were also in the process of training new team members at the same time. We always strive to provide a pleasant and efficient experience, and we regret that we missed the mark on your visit. We're also glad to hear that you enjoyed our food, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future to show you what we are capable of! Best regards, Mike General Manager

Being from Park City and traveling 4 1/2 hours north to another resort town during shoulder season may seem a strange vacation to some, but our trip to Jackson Hole was relaxing, carefree and invigorating. There were no crowds, it was quiet, and allowed plenty of time to re-explore an old friend. We wanted to have dinner at Spur, a restaurant our close friends and traveling companions had experienced earlier, but ended up confusing Wild Pine for Spur, which was in the hotel downhill from Spur. Lucky for us. Mike, the General Manager, plus the whole complex manager/head chef (who shared interesting facts about himself, his family) met us on arrival and chatted with us a while since it is early season and not busy yet. The restaurant has an upscale, modern vibe different from the usual mountain rustic that permeates most of Jackson's restaurants. Our server, Helen, Elise our bartender, our Chefs David and Jonathan were in the kitchen and all the staff was congenial and attentive, anxious to assuage my wife's concerns about a newly acquired allergy. We ordered one of our favorite martinis from Elise, something close to Park City's Tijuana Taxi and it was delicious. My boneless short rib dinner was tasty and the accompanying vegetables appropriately soft or crunchy and satisfying. We ordered trout with the usual toppings and a special trout without garlic flavoring and both were unusually well prepared and not dry. All in all, the restaurant will be a great addition to the ski hill's much needed eating out choices.

Hello Greg! Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It was the highlight of our night for Chef and I to be there as your official welcoming committee as you entered the door! You were a pleasure to serve and I am so happy you found us by accident. These reviews mean so much to us and our team and are a testament to the hard work we have put in to create a wonderful atmosphere, menu, and experience for our guests. We do hope you will let us know when you visit from Park City again as we would love to see you! We appreciate you! Kind Regards, Mike General Manager

We have stayed at gravity haus in breckenridge and Jackson Hole did not disappoint. We dined last night at Wild pine which was fantastic. The views are spectacular. Out server Kevin was excellent , he recommended the best dishes (pork lettuce wraps, short rib and lamb chops) we have travelled alot round the area and this meal was the best by far.. it was quiet and even so service was not rushed we spent a fabulous evening. Kevin was very professional he is also a mind of information on the area. We look forward to visiting in ski season.

Was given the wrong cut of steak that looked like the chef killed it a second time. It was so tough, drinks took forever and even the shishito peppers on top of our steaks were raw.
