   Very poor in many way. The White Dog is a very nicely decorated, welcoming place. BUT, the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the Greek Salad and it was awful. The lettuce was brown, wilted and there was hardly any feta cheese in it. And it was served in a very unappetizing way. Plus we had to wait 20 minutes for our server and were finally lucky to find a hostess who put in our order. Very disappointing.

   I felt the menu ingredients and types of preparations was limited. The truffle fries were limp and below the top few were in little pieces. The server and the hostess were friendly and very efficient. The food wasn’t what I have come to expect from White Dog Cafe restaurants.

   Came with my Dad for my birthday lunch. Service was wonderful. I was only disappointed because our table was wobbly. I knew it was busy since we had to make a reservation so I decided not to say anything but maybe check all the tables. Otherwise good, drinks and service great as usual.

   Really disappointing. Salad and salmon was meh. Fries were soggy. No offer for coffee or tea. And no mention of our special occasion (we were seated in the bar area) despite it being marked in the reservation. Had two small discount offer cards from previous dining and only one was accepted. There are much better options on the main line to spend $100 on a mediocre dinner.

   Many items on the menu are spicy which many people can’t tolerate. Please let servers know to notify if a menu item is spicy. We ordered a simple BLT and description didn’t mention that it’s spicy. My husband can’t have spicy food due to health issues.

   Nice dinner for 2. Server - Daniel - was great! Helped with wine selection and was cheerful and helpful. Gazpacho was good, but I will say the food runner who delivered did not delicately pour into the bowl, but kind of sloshed it in there. Shrimp salad was good as was tuna tartare.

   Love the tuna melt for lunch! I’m gluten free so they serve in over greens. I also love the seasonal mocktails…the summer cucumber one is my favorite. I only wish that they still had available the gluten free dinner rolls for us gf folks :(

    My lunch were excellent. Both cups of coffee were cold. However the bathroom was extremely dirty. Trash can needed to be empty No toilet paper and the water in the sink was running. It was the first bathroom. I did notify the receptionist that it needed to be cleaned.

    The food and service were excellent, though a bit pricey. We did have the whipped cheese which was excellent but in the future we will just have entrees.

    We have been there alot and was totally not impressed this time. Our Waiter Devon T. was no way to be found. We had cousins in from out of town and they were disappointed as well. I think the wayne location had better service.

    A quick brunch outside on this gorgeous day before we head into the city for some sightseeing. Omelettes were great and the breakfast potatoes particularly excellent, really crisp. Server was lovely and White Dog delivers again!

    Have had mixed experiences here. Going to hone in on one thing - a $27 salad consisting of 5 decent sized pieces of shrimp, very, very few butter lettuce leaves spread out in a single layer, a scant sprinkling of sliced cherry tomatoes and pickled onion, and an even smaller hint of pancetta. With almost no counterbalance of flavors , the over-spiced blackened shrimp and chipolte ranch deliver a single flavor profile that becomes overwhelming. Shrimp was great but the overall heat profile meant I left two on my plate uneaten. Considering there was little else served on that plate, this almost $30 salad meant I left hungry. Unfortunate.

    This is a really cute place, great service etc. but I wish the menus were a bit different. I wish they had more pasta or light meal options like a Flatbread or sandwich at dinner. I went with my mom. We were happy to be out in a nice place, service and drinks all fine but menu just not that appealing this time.

    Ugh. Greek salad was very expensive and quite small. Brown lettuce and zero presentation. BLT maybe had 3 slices of bacon for $17. Uninspired sandwich along with soggy fries. Bar decor looked like it was from the eighties. Very nice, efficient server.

    How can you go wrong with a Thursday lunch of Tuna Melt and Fries ? Let me tell you: sandwich was cold; cheese on top had time to solidify; fries were burnt, limp, soggy., stuffed into a cone dish. An offer to reheat the food was very unappetizing. The chef should have ben embarassed to serve this. I may be back, but will definitely scrutinize my plate. I suggest diners beware.

    WDC never disappoints and this experience was no different. The one differentiator for this visit was the extremely polite, well-spoken and attentive young man who served our table. Unfortunately, I was a guest and didn't see his ID on the CC receipt. Tall, slim African American lad with a unique necklace and pendant. Give him a raise!

    We returned to White Dog for brunch to get our new favorite waffles. They were great! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars overall and for service is attention to detail. My coffee was delivered, and I was asked about cream and sugar, which I requested. It did not arrive. I asked again and it took longer than it should have. My coffee got cold. The quality of the food makes up for this, and we had experienced this delay dynamic on our last visit. I know White Dog can do better.

    Food could've used some seasoning, but overall was good. Ambiance was great, as is the location. Adequate parking, located directly across from Haverford College, perfect spot for a walk afterwards.
