Maybe it was an off night but ....... dining room was too bright, no music. Took forever to get drinks & food. Our adorable server did the best she could.

Everything was excellent. We are repeat customers and we always enjoy our meals. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great food and service!

Wonderful food, especially for vegetarians. The ambiance and friendliness of staff made this a place that we will be sure to frequent time and again.

Food was very good and it was relatively quiet, which we had been warned about. Atmosphere was pleasant. Service was good, but the waitress forgot my wife's dessert (didn't charge us). Knew how to make my drink properly which was refreshing. Seemed like a lot of people seated ahead of us, even though we had a reservation. We would recommend it to others.

I love the White Dog, but have to admit that his was the slowest service I have ever experienced there. Our reservation was at 12:45 and we did not get our entree until almost an hour after we were there.

Amazing dinner and service

We were disappointed by the entrees. My fiancé got the short rib and I got the organic tofu. Neither had much flavor and were served lukewarm.

Love the food. Fun decor. Tables very close together so not easy to have a private conversation.

What we ordered was good but the portions were pretty small.

We were at White Dog for Valentines Day. As you can imagine, a very busy night for most restaurants. I was very impressed by our evening at White Dog in all respects. The service was wonderful, the food was fabulous, and White Dog doesn’t limit their menu for such a busy night. They did not miss a beat! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thank you!!

White Dog Cafe in Haverford is my absolute fav brunch spot! The food is excellent, the ambiance is so perfect and the prices are very affordable for the high quality food you're getting! My only feedback is service can be slow - especially from the bar and tables are a little tightly packed together so you can hear your neighbors conversation. This was a little challenging for us!

Had 8 pm Saturday night party of 8 reservation - waited 35 min to be seated. Told when arriving can’t seat your party after waiting 10 min. Poor ignorant management. No compensation. Ordered drinks at an over crowded bar. Bartenders poor, couldn’t make an Old Fashioned & the bar does not have a large cube for a whiskey drink.! Excuses and no satisfaction - finally seated. Banquette style table. The chairs were in poor condition. I am 5’6 & all 4 people on one side of the table sat very low into the cushions. My shoulders were even with the table top. Just ridiculous! Ribeye steak special was awful & has to be returned for bring uncooked. Service was ok but slow. Entrees looked ok upon arrival to each guest. The room was extremely loud. Gratuity included on bill for 8 people @ 20%. No incentive to be attentive to this group. I will not return nor will I go to any other location. Sloppy at best, abrupt, and kitchen can’t get it right! Not isolated, just poor and a waste of money!!! Never saw the manager, never read an apology, closed the restaurant because of extremely late seating of our party. Not fun at all! We were celebrating birthdays & another occasion.

White Dog is always solid -- food, service, ambiance, everything. And I love their changing menu of fun cocktails that are always yummy!

Although the food and atmosphere were very good, the service was extremely lacking. Our server came to the table at the beginning and toward the end of the meal. Someone else came and filled our water glasses. Perhaps he had too many tables to tend.

The footloose very good at case and they had a nice selection of beers. It was a little bit pricey, but overall I would highly recommend it.

We used open table to set a reservation at 4:30pm. When we got to the restaurant we were told they don’t start seating for dinner until 5pm. The bar was open but seating was on a first come first served basis with no where to sit.

Had we known we would have gone someplace else

I believe that the noise level was a bit too loud. I felt that I had to scream across my small table just so my company could hear me.

I love the cozy interior on white dog in haverford! Their food is a.ways deleicious! We tried to Maryland crab dip and it was outstanding ! A calorie splurge but worth it! The Salmon latkes were equally delicious. Our server was prompt and very attentive ! Will be coming back !

This was my boyfriend and I's first time at the White Dog.

I'm a huge fan of farm to table as I find that the food is not a lot tastier but the ambiance of the restaurants are usually more enjoyable.

The food was excellent! I think the only thing here to comment was that I personally feel like the shrimp wasn't blackened as I've had in the past elsewhere or made myself.

Other than that, everything about our brunch experience was excellent! Our waitress was not only knowledgeable on the menu but very nice and patient as we were a bit indecisive and curious being first comers. We plan to go back next Friday to try their dinner menu. Can't wait!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I go both to the West Philly and Haverford locations. They have very good food, great ambiance, and excellent service. I have been going there for 20 years and I am always happy with my experience there.
