Made a reservation weeks ahead for half a dozen friends for my birthday. When we arrived, there was a bigger event going on in their (lovely) patio, and they seemed to have lost our reservation. They wanted to put us inside, but I had asked for outside and had to insist. Found the house drinks poor and expensive, but the more standard cocktails were OK. We didn't eat, just a few rounds of drinks. I'd recommend for your big event, but it's not made for a small gathering. After some initial stiffness, the staff were lovely. They got cake.

From the start, not a good experience. The sign at front says to wait to be seated. Nobody approached or said they'd be right over. We approached the bar to say we had reservations and the guy threw a menu at us. We took a seat outside on the patio. There were only two other tables of patrons, but one was a large party. It took forever to get a drink and then food order in. Drinks came out quickly, but food took about an hour. For a burger and a pasta dish. They didn't tell us until we got up to walk out that they'd put the large group order in first and that we'd have to wait. They also came by the table once prior to us getting up to say it'd be just a few more minutes (lie!). About another 20 min later food arrived. My requested medium rare burger was more than well done. I ate it anyway because it was late and I was starving. They insisted on cooking me another....also over cooked. They did end up comping the food which is the least I would have expected, but service was terrible due to lack of communication. There were never more than 3 tables of patrons at a time and maybe 3-4 people at the bar with multiple staff walking around. It's unfortunate because the space is cute and would be great to enjoy in warmer weather. It was also a Saturday, so shouldn't have been an "off" or slow day.

I was happy to have found a place that still had reservations for Mother's day...I learned why pretty quickly. This place is cute especially their outdoor area but that is about it. Getting out table clean and ready was a bit of an issue and we stood around in the backyard waiting for a service person to show up. I wasn't made aware at time of booking that they only had buffet that day otherwise I would have not taken a reservation at 1:30pm. The food looked ok, yet had been out a while so the fish was overcooked, the beef was cold and dried out, and the list goes on...it was not great food for the price especially. The pastries were ok. The waiter was nice yet at some point they just wanted us out, brought and discussed the check in the middle of us eating and never refilled water even though we asked. It was probably the worst food I had in San Diego so far living here for 10 years and going out frequently for food.

It would be more appropriate to give their staff zero stars. I’m not to sure about the food as we unfortunately didn’t get to eat. When we arrived with a reservation, we were the only party waiting and was asked to hold while they prepare the table, obviously reasonable. However, three more parties, with no reservations (they each said they called the front desk and said there was no wait) showed up shortly after us (parties of 2,3, & 5) and was seated almost immediately upon checking in with the host. After they were comfortable seated the host came up to me and asked AGAIN if I had a reservation, as if we didn’t speak 10 minutes prior, and asked me to wait while he prepares a table. Not too long after, we got seated at a table with spilled coffee on it and waited for our server to arrive. No one came and we decided to leave and will not be returning. Very poor service.

Don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious. However, they said ‘seasonal jam’, which is apparently the little packets of smuckers jam, and we needed to ask specifically for utensils.

Great little boutique hotel and restaurant. Loved the decor inside and out, very modern but very comfortable. Food was excellent and the attention to detail and service was outstanding. Wasn't sure at first about the neighborhoood but the valet service and service received put us at ease. We only reserved for brunch but would def stay here as an option when visiting San Diego in the future.

Nice place at this Hilton boutique hotel. We came in for breakfast and the food had a very creative twist on basic breakfast staples. I had their corned beef hash which was delightfully unexpected. We would dine here again when we get a chance to visit the area again.

I live in the neighborhood, and I've always loved this boutique place. But after a few months, the prices are extremely high, and the food was bland instead of flavorful like it once was. Servers used to be fun and well-informed and attentive. Now, servers were nice people, but never checked on us, didn't bring water even after we'd asked, and it took forever to get our food even though the restaurant was more than half empty. I had suggested it to my friend but I was embarrassed by the experience.

Great trendy vibe spot for brunch/lunch with a very tranquil courtyard. Lots of fun drinks/cocktails to choose from and drinks are quite good. Food was good but a bit on the smaller portion size depending on what you're ordering. I had the omelet which was very tasty but a lot lighter and not as filling as an omelet that you'd get from a typical breakfast/brunch places that I could take home leftover for another meal for the same price. I guess good if you need to portion control or watch your calories intake or don't care for leftover. Overall great place to check out if you're looking for a trendy brunch spot near Pt. Loma Marina.

We were greeted fairly promptly after walking into the restaurant and our server was friendly. My order came out over cooked and very oily so I could not eat it. Our server never came back to check on us after the food was delivered. I barely touched it and when she finally came over, long after I would have been finished, she asked if I wanted a to-go box. I explained that it was over cooked from what I had ordered and the rest was very oily (I had ordered corned beef hash and eggs). She said she’d discount the dish. It was a very disappointing experience and we were swatting at flies the entire time (we were sitting inside).

The server was kind and astute. The manager also came out to assist which was nice to see. As there was a wedding happening in their venue I’m sure staff was tightly strung. They did a wonderful job and both drinks and food were delicious.

This place is confusing. The OpenTable listing and reviews made me believe it was an upscale restaurant but it's not. We were seated outside which is a closed hotel courtyard so it was awkward having people watch you eat from their rooms. The menu is very small. The food was good as was the service.

Came here with a group of 4 for a 5:30 dinner. Beautiful outdoor seating with ample heaters for comfort during dinner or drinks. The food is what why came here, every item in the menu was delicious. Our server, Kyle, was on point about every detail. He meade excellent recommendations on the food and drinks. Id come here every week for dinner if it was closer to my house.

Excellent place for a pre-meal before our concert at Humphrey's! The food was awesome--we had the brussel sprouts and beet salad appetizers and shared the shrimp dish as a main. We loved sitting in the courtyard with some musical entertainment.

I Absolutely love the ambiance. Of course the food is very delicious. I love the brunch menu, especially the breakfast burrito with creme fraiche. If you want something light and hearty, the avocado toast is a go-to. Of course I go for brunch so a mimosa or a bloody Mary is a must.

Would have loved to eat here. Read the reviews, the restaurant website, menu and hours before making a reservation for brunch. Got there to find they were closed and only serving coffee and pastries. Don't understand why reservations were accepted and website wasn't updated

Seating includes an outdoor quad. Breakfast menu is limited but adequate. Quality of food excellent. Service is terrific. Ambiance is informal and casual. Setting is new. There is valet parking which is recommended. Otherwise parking is difficult. Our party of 4 left with a sense that we had “discovered” a new restaurant and that we would return.

This is a hidden gem in Point Loma, the chef is excellent. Ask for the onion rings, and I always order the striped sea bass. However, the service is horrible. Each time I go there are new staff who don't know how to mix specialty drinks they offer and are less than attentive to the patron. It took 10 minutes sitting in the booth before anyone acknowledged us. Then anther 10 minutes to get a simple glass of wine, and finally 20 minutes in we got to actually order an appetizer. Then wait again for the waiter to come for our main course choice. The waiter never came and asked how we like our meal. But the sous chef did! It is a shame, because it is close to home and good food. I recommend you take you patience and maybe you own wine and give it a try though.

Overall experience was ok. They didn’t seem to have staffing figured out! It took us about 10 minutes just to get water and silverware. After about 20, the server comes over to tell us he was on his break. Not sure why there was not coverage as there were people walking around? After that though everything was fine and food was great!

We made a dinner reservation here because we had concert tickets that evening. Cocktails were great. We had the coup and the fizz. Food was good-burger and chicken rigatoni. Ambiance was really cool. We loved the vibe and the indoor/outdoor atmosphere. However, the service was terrible. They didn’t seem to know who was doing what. There were lots of staff members, just not organized at all. Better management would take care of this problem.
