The Waterslide Bar is a fusion of old and modern, creating the pleasant impression of being somewhere familiar, yet new. It’s another of Melbourne’s typical best secret-bars; rather, it’s out there for everyone to enjoy and wanting to be enjoyed; bringing some sophisticated and delicious fun to the south side of the river. The Waterslide team, with its many years of experience has compiled unique beverage lists of the finest Whiskeys, Gins, Vodkas, Rums, Ciders, Cocktails and Craft beers.

With the stunning million-dollar views of the Yarra River and of the city skyline, Waterslide is the ideal venue for corporate functions, product launches, birthday parties, anniversaries, EOFY functions and of course Christmas parties.     The team at Waterslide was super fun, accommodating, polite and attentive. They made our first experience there an absolute blast, we could just sit back and relax knowing we were totally taken care of. Telling everyone about it, can't wait to go again next time I'm in Melbourne.

    Got in there for our booking time but upon trying to locate our table we couldn’t as no1 could find it under the same it was under went to multi levels/host but they still couldn’t find it so we ended up leaving shortly after

    Hi Nathan, Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I think you might have mistakenly gone to WATERSIDE HOTEL. WATERSLIDE BAR is a different venue on Southbank. We only have 1 level. We hope to see you in the near future at Waterslide Bar, Mid-Level East End, Southgate, Shop MR3/3 Southgate Ave, Southbank VIC 3006

    I booked this venue for my Birthday unseen, but having been to La Camera many times for dinners and family gatherings gave me the impression it would be good. Daniella the events co-ordinator did a great job in guiding me with the food and venue space. We had the front waterside area with 20 plus guests, it was fabulous, the views were amazing looking over the Yarra River and got some bonus fireworks. Heaters and blinds kept everyone comfortable. The waitress Olivia was wonderful and friendly bringing food out and serving it around, and looking after the heater, blinds and music. Kate behind the bar looked after everyone with ice cold glasses and a friendly smile, she assisted me when the tab was getting a bit low, but never any stress, just perfect. Everyone loved the food, and we had plenty, brought out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this hidden gem and would go again for our next milestone event. Thanks to all the staff and management it was a great night, and the feedback from my friends echos that as well. Cheers, Paul.

    I made this booking 3 weeks ahead and requested a space of indoor and outdoor like we got in June 2021. I think it’s Deb I spoke to not sure. She said will provide us a space indoor/outdoor. But we got outdoor seating and it was enough for 20 people. We had to squeeze through every time. We were all disappointed.
