   Drinks were made poor. French onion soup needed salt, salads were bland. Steak was $50 and just okay. Totally for 3 of us having one drink each and dinner was $300. Ridiculous and over rated.

   Came here with my twin daughters. It was a fabulous evening of superb food, great ambience and live music. We’ve decided to make this a new regular spot!

   The crowd seemed to descend on the restaurant at the same time. Once the wait staff got a little organized everything went really well and enjoyable. Professional service and delicious food, served beautifully and hot.

   This is a charming venue! The service is top notch! Abby and Riley did an excellent job serving in the live music room! The food was so delicious! Perfect for sharing on date night or with friends! The drinks are tasty and refreshing. I recommend the Upside Down Pineapple drink as a sweet, delicious dessert beverage. The cheese plate is also an excellent choice to nom on throughout a live music show. We saw an excellent brother duo, The Aber Brothers, perform an acoustic set of popular songs throughout the decades. The intermission included a bagpipe player to celebrate St Patrick’s Day! 🍀 Truly the most lovely time! Thank you so much! 10/10 would recommend Washington Park Grille. 😊

   Seated immediately. Menu is a nice mix of dishes. Wine menu is diverse. Wine ordered was what I expected. Price was fair. Food was just average, nothing more. Price was high given the quality and quantity. Servers were efficient but not didn’t add to the experience. Ambiance is great that is why I return. Enjoyed the entertainment in lounge after dinner.

    Several dishes were not warm when served. They brought out entrees before appetizers, tuna entre ordered med rare, came out well done, pork chop had the texture of shoe leather. Have dined here several times. All previous times were very good. Last night was a complete failure by WPG.

    Booth was better than a table, next time we sit at bar. A round table with super loud young women…i did not want to embarrass them but i almost said something to them:-) Order not accurate waiter was gracious. Perhaps if we arrived at 11 on weekend the loud ones have not arrived yet

    We did the Restaurant Week menu, which was very good, and a great value, but the regular menu is always better, of course. The young man who was our server is very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly, which always makes the experience enjoyable as well.

    The service was exceptional our waitress went over and above to accommodate all 12 of us. And even got a bonus of live music throughout the rest of the evening. Stayed till closing. That Band Busted Bones was the talk of the town such incredible musicians. Had the place rockin.

    Great service, lovely place, great Restaurant Week menu options. The salads were large and creative. I had the pork chop which was wonderfully prepared, tasty smashed potatoes, and a lovely petite syrah. My boyfriend has the stuffed chicken breast and loved it. Also had really great side of roasted potatoes. We both had tiramisu, with was just right. Great dinner!

    Washington Park Grille is a great neighborhood restaurant - small, comfortable, not ostentatious. The menu offerings for restaurant week were excellent. Of course, we upgraded two items and ordered wine, so our tab was way more than the pre-set price. Would recommend this eatery to others.

    Seated promptly on a 5:30 Tuesday reservation during Restaurant Week. Enjoyed the salad course. Bolongese was well prepared, but, the grilled Trout serving was small and overcooked. Polenta accompanying the trout was crunchy. The strawberry cake was tasty, but I was surprised by the amount of whipped cream layered in it...more like a torte. Service was good. With one glass of wine each and our total tab with tax, tip, and kitchen fee hit $100. On street parking within a block was easy on a Tuesday.

    Restaurant week’s fixed price three course special lured us in. Food and service were really great. Nicer chairs would upscale the ambiance to match the high pricing…but we’ll return whenever affordable

    Excellent food and service as usual. Really appreciate the arrangements my server made for me at my request. The Denver restaurant week becomes more of a joke though... Portions are so small that there is no way you can actually get even half-full off the pre-built menu. But I don't blame restaurants for that - inflation was crazy. It's probably time to double the price for it so that the establishments can offer something reasonable. With that said the food was still delicious!

    We was there during restaurant week. Soup was cold. The pork chop was raw. The trout was fishy. Service was OK. Drinks was OK and promptly. We will not come back food is average at best.

    I love this restaurant. This was my second visit and the food was fresh and tasty. We went with two friends and enjoyed cocktails, wine. The food is locally sourced and they say no hormones or antibiotics are used in meats so that’s important to me. I need to find out if the produce is organic, I don’t want any pesticides. Nice ambiance and music Thurs, Friday and Saturday not sure about Saturday. Yummy food and lively atmosphere.

    Elders with hearing issues were able to hear & understand each other. The Buffalo Short Ribs & Lamb Chop was exceptionally prepared. Service was quick & gracious. We shall arrive again next week.

    Not a 4-star rating -- if I could give a half of a star, it would be a 4.5. This is a wonderful little neighborhood place. The food was spot-on for all of us - nicely cooked & seasoned, beautifully plated & served. The servers did a great job in working around a beer tap issue at the bar, and the bartender mixed a solid Manhattan. My only complaint - and it isn't even really a complaint: the music shifted from quiet jazz to more raucous pop in the middle of dinner, which is fine, but it makes conversation a little more difficult, especially when seated close to another table and with one of our number being elderly. Would 100% recommend Washington Park Grille to everyone.

    Brunch on Sunday, Feb. 19: Four diners, one enjoyed their salad, the burger was OK, but both Benedicts were poor quality. The regular Benedict was not good and my crab Benedict was really bad. Had I been blindfolded I would not have recognized it as crab. The crab had a strange brown color, the eggs had a weird orange colored streaks on it, the underlying ciabatta bread very soggy. My fruit cup looked as if it had been cut the previous week. Very disappointing.

    Unfortunately, not a great experience. When we first walked in, we had a reservation but were told that they were a bit behind so we waited about 15 minutes for our table. While we were waiting we saw a couple leave and complain they were leaving because they hadn’t gotten served any food in an hour. When we were ready to be seated we were told the kitchen was behind about 30 minutes. (It would’ve been nice to know that when we first walked in while waiting for our table.) Once we sat down, the food actually wasn’t really delayed. We did have one drink that didn’t taste very good. When we asked for something different we were told that the original drink could not be comped because the manager had said they had already comped too much for the night for other customers (keep in mind it was literally 7:30pm so not even late). Kind of frustrating that because the food/drinks were not being made well that night and so many people had been comped, we ended up paying for a drink we didn’t like nor drank. Food and service was average otherwise. Likely will not come back.

    Juliana was so gracious. The rest of party was 15 minutes late- it was a 5 o’clock reservation but I felt bad. She couldn’t have been kinder. Let me rewind and mention the Hostess stand, what a remarkable group of young ladies! Kind, engaging, and genuinely warm! Dinner was amazing, we all loved it, my rare tuna entree was the best I’ve ever had. So big props! Super happy spending when it is worth it- ITS WORTH IT

    The food and service was excellent. We visited on Valentine’s Day for the first time and had a nice experience. The wait staff provided excellent recommendations for both the food and wine. The lasagna and chicken piccata were both delicious. The wine selection was good as well as the dessert menu!

    WPG has gone way downhill in the last six months. The brunch buffet is gone and it’s been replaced with a lackluster menu and mediocre food. We won’t be returning.
