    Reservation was at 530pm for 4 people, 8pm is when we left. Almost three hours later meal was complete, far too long to receive drinks, salads and main course. They changed menu and bone marrow recipe was also changed, used to love this appetizer, not anymore. Ordered steak medium came out well done and everyone at table tasted and said same thing it tasted like refrigerator. The length of waiting and issues with food has happened before and this visit will be our last in a long time to Vista.

    One of the best meals in a long time, and we actually didn’t get any steak. A very creative reinterpretation of a steakhouse menu. The table side Caesar and the prawn cocktail merit a trip back alone. The small plates are sizable and satisfying. The filet bites and seasonal mushroom side were a great substitute for a steak.

    Really enjoyed our time and food there. Our waiter was great but seemed annoyed when we asked to box our leftovers ourselves vs. having him do it and he wasn't as pleasant after that. Other than that it was good.

    I have celiac and the server was so knowledgeable and helpful with the dinner choices. She went back and asked the kitchen to double check the sauces were gluten free.

    We really like this place. Nice atmosphere and live soothing music being played. Definitely made the atmosphere upscale and enjoyable. The service was fantastic and the food looked spectacular. Our only complaint on the food was we got the shrimp scampi cocked table side. It was a great presentation and the flavors were there but the pasta was over cooked and gummy yet cold at the same time. The pasta was precooked and added to the dish near the end of cooking. I little more care preparing the pasta al dente before hand and make sure it heats thoroughly before serving would really help this dish. Although this is a beautiful restaurant the designers kinda messed up the view from the inside out. To achieve the big lodge look on the outside, the big window cross hatches and oversized columns block your view from actually seeing all the beauty that is just outside. We will be back and do enjoy this place but probably won’t do the scampi and May enjoy more in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the view that you should have been able to enjoy from inside the restaurant.

    Was so happy that Alysha was our server again - she is so friendly and bubbly. She made the dining experience that much more enjoyable. My friends enjoyed the appetizers, main course and dessert. Thank you!! :)

    My food had undercooked sides and my wife’s food was way over seasoned and way over cooked to being burnt. Complained and all they did was give her a free piece of carrot cake to take home. We asked to take home because dinner took an hour to arrive after ordering. We got home and the carrot was a super tiny piece of pumpkin moose. HORRIBLE… Also a ton of open tables but they seated us at the last table right next to the kitchen. I almost get hit twice by staff as I tried to leave me seat. Worse restaurant I’ve been to in years

    Second time visiting and definitely not as good as the first. The service was great. However the food was not. We ordered the Seafood Louie, 10oz medium rare Ribeye, and the Scampi. The Ribeye came to the table very undercooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen. After being cooked more it was just OK, for $55 steak. Definitely wouldn’t get it again. The Scampi was also just OK. The shrimp were slightly undercooked and lacked flavor. Ended up eating 2/6 shrimp and bringing the rest home to finish cooking. Also wouldn’t order again. The Seafood Louie was alright, nothing spectacular. Overall, great service and ambiance, but food was not at all impressive.

    Tyler forgot the lemon twist in my vodka and also the truffle potatoes puree. The ambient noise level was high and made conversation at our table even more difficult when the piano and singing were present.

    We really enjoyed our dinner. My husband wanted a lobster tail, which he combined with a small filet mignon. We had cocktails with shrimp cocktail and I had the French Onion soup. They do not skimp on ingredients in the French Onion soup, it was delicious! I had the sampler of ribeye steaks, which was delicious and interesting, and the red wine flight, while my husband drank a moscato champagne. We see a lot on the menu we would like to try, so will have to come back. It was dark so couldn't see the view. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and gave great advice. Our only issue was the smoke from the Casino does come into the restaurant a bit. Not a deal breaker for us. I would return on a weeknight next time, see if that makes a difference.

    The restaurant the service and the ambience we’re all five stars we had calamari and split Caesar salad with jalapeño margaritas before entrée. Those were all wonderful my wife had the halibut and vegetables I had the James Beard burger with truffle fries. Both entrées were way over cooked and dry. This meal with tip was well over $200. I don’t think will be back and I don’t recommend it. There are better restaurants out there for your money. Lastly, the food did not match the service. The service was fine dining level the food was not.

    Second time there and it was just as good as the first time. I usually don’t find truly good food inside of casinos, except in high end hotels in Vegas. This is a great place to meet, great food, excellent service, easy to have a conversation, but not so quiet you think you are in a library.

    We ordered a tomahawk steak medium rare and it came well done. We sent it back, and by the time we got our food, our friends were done eating and we were full. For a $500 bill, the experience was a disappointment. Do better.

    Kristen our server is just an exceptional server, friendly, knowledgeable and personable. Noise level a little too loud for the setting mainly due to a group who were very loud and using language not appropriate for dining. We were sitting around the corner in one of the last tables and this group was located a few tables from the piano and we could hear every obnoxious and inflammatory word of the conversation as if they were in a bar. I would have liked if someone on the staff to recognize this and ask them to lower their voices but also understand not my place to ask anyone to do this. For future consideration given the dining experience I would suggest a more heightened sense by staff to identify the situation and to recognize the impact this has on other diners looking to soak in the experience. Thank you.

    First time diners, but it won't be our last time. Lovely view, dining room & outstanding food ( I have a very picky husband who said his filet was far better than what he's had at Daniel's and he likes Daniel's). Alysha gave warm, exceptional service. If I were to add something with room for improvement, it would be to add air purification like in the smoke free gaming area. It wasn't strong, but the smoke smell was noticeable.

    The atmosphere is very nice. The service is top notch. The food quality was a bit disappointing this time. The James beard burger had really charred bacon which made the burger not very good. The server did offer to replace it so that was nice. The steaks were good so stay with the steak!

    We had a terrible experience with the hostess. We made reservations the day before going to the restaurant. When making the reservation, I specifically asked for a table, not a booth. As the hostess was walking us to our table, she kept passing empty tables. My husband walks with a cane and I asked if we couldn't be sat at one of these closer tables. She said no, they were all reserved by people who had made reservations. She said they assign seats earlier in the day so she couldn't change it. She then walked us back to the very last area in the restaurant, next to the kitchen entrance and sat us in a BOOTH. If it was planned out earlier in the day and we had specifically asked for a table, not a booth, why were we given a booth? It is more difficult for my husband to get out of a booth. She said I should have said my husband walks with a cane when I made the reservations. She was very nasty about the whole situation. I usually have a lot of patience (more than my husband) and I was upset with the way she spoke to us. I asked to talk with a manager. She went and talked with the manager and came back and said we could move across the aisle. The manager never bothered to come talk to us until much later in the evening. The food was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. They helped to make the evening better. I'm hesitant to return though to be treated that way again by the hostess.

    Food was fine, not great. The wait staff and service was not what I would expect from a prime steak house. Food was okay - hemolytic was dry and filet was overcooked. Service felt like more like an Applebees.

    The atmosphere and food are good, if overpriced, but the service is very slow. Our waiter was excessively chatty with all of his tables, slowing him down to a crawl, and he forgot basic things like putting in the appetizer before the main course. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a live piano player and singer who was a lot of fun to listen to (Joe Carolus - check him out!), and the food was very good. But the slow service ruined the experience and I doubt I'll return any time soon.

    No complaints about food or service. If you don’t request a view table you will get a view of the parking lot. The prices are equal to a downtown steak house. I’ve eaten at the buffet and had a better view 🙁

    Great service, view, cocktails, wine, starters, and dessert. The main dishes weren't up to expectations. Halibut was very overcooked. Ravioli was dense and heavy. Salads were plenty big enough to share. Same with starter, corn ribs. They threw in a free dessert to make up for the disappointing mains. Bananas Foster was great. Overall very pricey, but if the mains were better, would have been okay.
