    ✨Happy Tuesday!✨ Chicago’s Hyde Park is one of my favorite spots, and @_rclrk and I make a trip at least once a month! A few months back, we celebrated @_rclrk’s birthday at @virtuerestaurantchi, and let me tell you, it was incredible. I dove into their lamb loin, perfectly paired with nutty, smoky freekeh and a bold black harissa that brought the right amount of spice. The flavors? Pure magic—earthy, spicy, and just all-around delicious! To sip, I had the Peach Tree Fizz, a delightful blend of virtue vodka, elderflower, Georgia peach, and prosecco—refreshing and just the right touch of sweetness. Everything was amazing, and the service?     No notes. Everything was exceptional. Starting from the time I crossed the threshold, the gentleman who greeted me and walked me to my table was so kind and engaging. The food was amazing, this was me and a friends first time so we wanted to taste a little of everything. We ordered the gizzards, fried green tomatoes, greens, Mac & cheese, fish & grits and short ribs. We shared everything but we were impressed with it all. Our server was so kind and attentive and overall it was a great dinner for an otherwise mundane Tuesday evening. I highly encourage anyone to try this place. You will not be disappointed.

    This is a truly inspired elevated and delicious restaurant. Be prepared for an expensive dinner. The entrees are well sized, the small rations on the pricey side per portion, and $5.00 extra for one extra slice of the fried green tomatoes (and a tiny shrimp) certainly got my attention. The extra rations and desserts are handsomely sized for sharing. Absolutely delicious cappuccino. The wait staff was super knowledgeable and tailored the order to our personal taste. Although the time limit is clearly stated as 90 minutes, there were empty tables and we stayed leisurely.
