   I saw a review on Instagram and it showed a brunch buffet. This is what I was expecting. While the food is executed well my son left there hungry and at 32-36 plate this should not happen. A lot of restaurants offer a similar menu in Vancouver for a lot cheaper. For me was not worth the hype.

   Went here on Saturday to celebrate wife’s birthday. The food is great and the service is excellent. The price is definitely on the expensive side and the portion has probably been cut down from what I remembered before the pandemic. Overall we enjoyed it.

   As a multi-returning customer to this steakhouse restaurant, I have noticed some areas where the establishment could improve. Firstly, I have found that the price of the meals does not always match the value that is provided. While the food is generally of high quality, I have found that the price point can be a bit steep at times. Secondly, on a recent visit, I ordered a steak that was unfortunately undercooked. While I appreciate that some people prefer their meat rare, this steak was quite undercooked and did not meet my expectations. I hope that the restaurant can ensure that their meat is cooked to the desired level in the future. Thirdly, I ordered sushi during my visit and found that the rice was hard and not as enjoyable as I had hoped. I hope that the restaurant can pay more attention to the preparation of their sushi in the future, to ensure that the rice is cooked to perfection. Fourthly, I have found that the drink prices at this establishment do not always match the value provided. Additionally, I have noticed inconsistencies with the toppings and presentation of the drinks, which can be disappointing. Finally, while the service at this restaurant is generally good, I have noticed inconsistencies in the level of service provided. On one occasion, I had to ask for items that I would have expected to be offered, such as a wine menu. Additionally, I was not given the opportunity to place my wine order until my main course had already arrived, which was disappointing. Overall, while this steakhouse restaurant has some areas where it could improve, I appreciate the quality of the food and the generally good service. I hope that the restaurant takes my feedback into account and continues to strive for excellence in the future.

   Vibratnt atmospheer with excellent service food prices are in line with high eateries, the wine was extremely expensive about 400% mark up. Our server was knowledgeable, polite and attentive

   Nice restaurant atmosphere. Server got our order wrong. We ordered Bone in Sirloin but server got us the regular Sirloin instead (which is smaller and less expensive). Server apologized and corrected the order and She also didn't charged us for the non-alcoholic drinks. Manager also came apologized as well. When we got the Bill, the restaurant didn’t charged us for the drinks, charged us the less expensive Sirloin (server ordered in error) and gave us a free dessert because it was our anniversary. We were quite satisfied with the service and food was great.

    If you are ready to spend money, the indulgent brunch is a great place. They no longer have the live music. However, the candy bar, caesar bar, mimosa cart, and great servers are back.

    Birthday, table wasn’t the best and I have been here numerous times and the service was a little slow…. I normally receive impeccable seats and service. Hopefully next time and unfortunately this time was my actual birthday

    Went for brunch. Food was good but the service was exceptionally bad. I don’t live in Van anymore and haven’t been to the Victor since before covid. Hopefully our server was just having a really off day. It wasn’t busy

    Half the steak was fat and the knife could barely cut through it. We also got sick after eating which ruined the evening. The music is very loud so having a conversation is hard.

    Booked a table for two for a nice dinner experience as The Victor seemed to check all the boxes. The ambience was more club style with loud music playing throughout our dinner. Understanding it was an event weekend, I gave it a pass but if you are looking for a quiet dinner atmosphere, choose elsewhere

    Cheeko has outstanding hospitality skills truly a asset for the victor, Craig is outstanding aswell Both very sociable , respectful , courteous front of house. Honestly I continue to come back just for the sushi steaks margaritas and most importantly the staff:) Cheeko most definitely gets a 10/10

    Top notch service. Food and drinks were excellent. Especially impressed with the selection of mock tails. One request - if they could add a non-alcoholic red wine to the menu. Fully get its hard to find a nice tasting one, certainly not a knock on Victor as I still haven’t found one myself.

    Food and service was great - good portions as well. Our server was super informative and we went to the bar after for a few drinks where Mauricio was great. A couple of young kids were running around the restaurant, playing hide and seek and screaming throughout our dinner which was very annoying and ruined the ambiance slightly. I wish management would have considered that they were disrupting other guests. Otherwise a good time.

    Highly recommend the Sunday brunch dining at the Victor. A tad pricey, but the experience makes it well worth it. The make-your-own Caesar bar and table of candy assortments were delightful. The service was outstanding, and the food was unique and delicious. I suggest ordering the crabcake eggs benedict... it looks like a small dish, but it's very filling and incredibly delicious.

    The service from the kitchen was very slow. After having waited for over 20 minutes we were told our steak would be another half hour. When my steak came it was rare and parts looked uncooked. I had ordered medium rare. Our server did what he could but the overall delivery was slow. Although the sides were good none of the food was better then what one could have more cheaply at another restaurant. It is the first time I never left a tip.

    We went for a bday dinner….was so looking forward to a repeat of previous experiences, however, the server was exceptionally unpleasant and rude, the steak over cooked, which meant the other meal became cold awaiting the send back/replacement. On top of enduring all of that bill was incorrect/erroneously too high. Regrettable choice for our special occasion.

    I used to love this restaurant and it has been a go to for occasions and impressing our out of town guests. It has always been expensive but the food, service and vibe was worth it. Unfortunately our experience last night was very underwhelming. The food was disappointing (and very late) and the service lacklustre. And then the bill… $$$$. Don’t think we’ll be back.

    We had reservations for 9 pm we were seated at 9:30 pm in a table that had been empty well before we arrived. our server gave us water 5 minutes after we were seated. Took about an hour ti get our food. server was pleasant but our party and guest of honour left before the end of the dinner as they were tired. So only two if us stayed for dessert. which was so pretty. we ordered the cloud of candy floss. We preordered a basket at the table that never came. but all good. It was an add on feature. but maybe not available. as it was ny daughters graduation dinner for completing a course. please add highchairs as we had littles with us. Also letting us know it is served family style sides. would have been nice to know.we would have ordered differently. Food was amazing. A few more acknowledgements of how long we would have to wait. Would you like water while you wait. our party of 8 sat there only acknowledged by other patrons. just expected better. Would have been nice ti have been acknowledged by a manager to see if we liked the experience. As a reviewer o. yelp and expedia. I really am aware if good service. Especially as a guest at the Douglas Autograph Collection. Feeling underwhelmed by what this experience was hyped up to be.
