   The restaurant had a corporate party in the lounge with speeches being given in a microphone. The music was at full blast. The ambiance was terrible.

   Services was great! Even tho we got 30 minutes early for our reservation the hostess was able to accommodate us and let us wait in the patio, brought us some water then our server came to introduce. Food was good! Drinks were excellent! Never disappointed so far!

   This was the second time I had been to the Victor and it was just as amazing as the first time. The service is always fantastic, the food is impeccable and it comes out nice and fast and the venue is beautiful! I can’t say enough good things.

   Delicious food! We had wine, old fashioned, shirley temple, seafood tower, steak, roast chicken, and sablefish, cheesecake, whiskey cake, and vanilla icecream. Beautiful ambiance and location. Steak knife was dull, noise level was high. Lots of commotion with 15 servers running around. Individual service could be much better. Parking was extremely difficult.

   I have to say that our entire dining experience at The Victor this past Saturday night was one of the best that we have had in as long as I can remember. Between the impeccable service, the appetizers and entrées and the bottle of wine I can not think of one thing to complain about. Our entrées did come out slightly before the appetizer did but I understand it was a very busy night and sometimes those things happen. It did not affect our overall opinion of The Victor. Hands down the asparagus and oyster mushroom risotto is the absolute BEST risotto I have had in my entire life ... and I make it a lot! Thank you to all the staff and chef at The Victor. We will definitely be back when we are in Vancouver again!

   Super disappointing service. From the minute we arrived utter chaos- and it’s even more disappointing because the vibe and food are actually excellent - they just have zero flow to their service. We ended up going to the bar to get our own drinks 3 times … manager was dismissive… it was a very disappointing experience for something we had planned for awhile and had been looking forward to.

    Horrible experience for my friend's bday party! Not sure what is going on with this resto these days as it has been my fav but def not anymore Ordered the Sunday special prime rib, halibut, Salmon steak, onion ring, Sushi and Champaign. Food showed up literally 1 hours after we ordered. Onion ring was cold and soggy Salmon steak was not well cooked Sushi was so basic (def over priced Vs to local sushi spots!)

    Service was amazing. Our server, Christian, was really friendly. The food was a bit slow but everything was delicious. The lobster bisque was a bit on the warm side, not hot enough. I think the steak quality yesterday was even better than Elisa Steak.

    It was quite busy as the morning went on so the noise was starting to amp up. I understand they want to add some entertainment but the music made it so loud that it was hard to continue with a normal conversation. Just drop the live music. Also, if someone gets there early and has booked early getting a table near the water may have been beneficial.

    I was excited to try their brunch but it was just ok for us. Took over an hour for food even though they weren't busy. $36 was alot for the benny we got. Small and nothing stood out. Did love the mimosa flights and the candy bar. The build your own ceaser bar looked awesome!

    We had the best waiter and everything was organized for the pre ordered champagne and birthday dessert tray. The only quibble was some of the steaks ordered (rib cap) were not as charred as others as we had 3 orders of this same steak and the wagyu flatiron steak was a bit tough. Overall the food was delicious and the timing was very good with the appetizers/sushi and mains ordered. Our waiter, Christian, was extremely knowledgeable and really helped make the birthday dinner for the 6 a special event!!!

    My friend and I had dinner here on our girls weekend and it did not disappoint! We sat at the bar and were able to be seated before our reservation. The staff was all very nice, except for one manager that seemed to get upset with one of the bartenders for accidentally breaking a glass. Our bartender Philipp was absolutely amazing and adorable to top it off! Will definitely return when we visit Vancouver again.

    I have never written a poor review but the service was terrible. It took us 30 mins to get a drink order in and 45 until we received our first drink. Would not go back. Surly service as well.

    The caesars that are offered at brunch are a complete rip off. For 2oz of vodka it was $23! The glasses offered were way to small to even make a decent sized drink one you have to add the ice. I would warn everyone not to order these. While the restuarant is big, fo some reason I am always seated way off in a corner with no one around. I like people around me and not be placed in an area to make the room look like its full. I wish I was seated with all the other people. I don't know why the Victor does this everytime I come there.
