One of our favorites, the quality and portions of their food has been consistent for the past several years. Viale's has a broad menu and above average cocktail and wine list. We always look forward to an opportunity to dine there when in the area.

I don't understand how a pizza kitchen runs out of pizza dough. That is the only reason we went to Viale, for the pizza and after we ordered appetizers. Would have gone somewhere else if we had known.

Food was a bit underwhelming. Eggplant was good but the chicken piccata was served with cold chicken and somewhat tasteless cream sauce. We ordered take out many many times in the past few years and it seems that the quality has declined a bit so we wanted to visit in person to compare.

I’ve been to Viale many times. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to bring friends and family and out of town guests. Last night was no exception. The kitchen made a couple of minor mistakes that were quickly rectified by a very efficient front of the house staff who were all helping each other. Our server, Erin, was thorough, friendly, responsive, and appeared to be a seasoned pro even on her first night shift. Starting with a well made cocktail and wine recommendation to a crisp Caesar, outstanding Carbonara and pizza, and although busy we never felt hurried to leave.

Viale has very good everyday Italian food. We got placed at a very back table near the bathroom and the manager was very nice about moving us after we requested it. I had the eggplant Parmesan.and it was done well. My wife had pesto, ravioli, and it was excellent. The Italian salad had salami and olives, and even the small size was quite generous. The price was fair. Excellent and the service excellent. It was a bit noisy near the bar but conversation was still easy. Overall an excellent place.

This was my second time here. I’m visiting from out of town and really enjoyed it last time. Second visit did not disappoint. We were greeted warmly by the owner upon arrival. Food was excellent and so was my cocktail. Our server and everyone who attended our table were warm and friendly. Fun vibe.

Went with another couple and we ate family style. Which was awesome so we could all try several e trees and a pizza. INCREDIBLE flavors and the ribs were the main event. Great wines on tap too. The salted caramel cheesecake was perfect to end the night with a cappuccino. And the only thing better than the food was the service and the prices. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. This will for sure be one of our new top spots.

Been coming to Viale since it opened 5-6 years ago. It never disappoints. The food is amazing! Their pizza is some of the best in town. I've also had other Italian style dishes. All have been amazing. Then the staff and service are top notch. Very friendly and personable. All around it's a treat coming here. That's why I've been doing it for almost 6 years.

This was my first time going to Viale. I absolutely have to say that. The service at this restaurant is incredible. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, outgoing, and seem to really enjoy working at this restaurant., I found it to be incredibly noisy, and therefore not a good place to go if you were trying to have a conversation or wanted a more quiet environment. I would say that the food was average. The vegetables on my dish were over cooked and the meal was very heavy and greasy.

Our server was perfectly delightful. The ambiance in Viale is warm and inviting. Open kitchen design is a good on one hand and not on the other. The venting is not sufficient to draw out all the smoke/cooking smells and my clothes were infused with those odors. Not something I like to take home requiring my clothing to be hung outside for a couple of hours to air out! Pizzas and salads are always tasty.

A good “old faithful” for us but second thoughts starting to creep in after last night. Waiter was making jokes on how slow it was to get a drink from the bar. We told him we understood, it’s NYE. He said it was still unacceptable. Then, he said the cook staff was too slow too. “If they don’t get your food out soon, I’m going back there and cook it myself.” We never said a word about the speed of service. In fact, I thought it was just right, a bit of time between each course. What really threw us though was how much garlic was used in each dish. We LOVE garlic in our dishes but all three of our entrees (lobster, bison and short ribs) there was an over abundance of garlic, including larger chunks of chopped garlic that overpowered the lobster ravioli. Waiter suggested bread pudding was really good, we knew that already, but he said the kitchen takes a while to get this presented. Don’t know if he had a problem with the back of the house but you probably should not dog your staff to the customer. We’ll be back, overall good food still but staff should be reminded that they represent the entire restaurant.

Very disappointed. The food was sub par. Marinara sauce was tasteless, 25 dollar lasagna was cold and mushy with no layers. Almost like it was spooned into the plate Eggplant parmigiana was just weird and the flavor was inconsistent. Garlic bread was not very garlicky and everything was cold. We were being hosted by a friend so we didn’t want to make a fuss and hurt her feelings or we would have sent our meals back. So many better places for Italian in Denver and a much better value.

Service was adequate and personable but just missed a few details we prefer with pace and check back, Food was all great and prepared fairly quickly given the place was packed. Food was flavorless. Both my husband and I’s pasta were overcooked and very bland. The house salad was really good so we thought the food was going to be excellent but is was underwhelming. We will not be back.

This was my first time dining in at Viale and it was wonderful! I’ve gotten take out quite a few times and everything is always so good. I cant go without the burrata - other favorites are the chicken piccata, salmon, and bolognese. This is the perfect neighborhood spot with exceptional Italian. All of the staff are so great too. Can’t recommend it enough!
