Very nice view of the empire bldg, good crowd. If you seat outside you have to order for yourself no server but that’s fine ❤️ will definitely come back ☺️
Delicious food, great music, beautiful ambience!
They just went to a Summer Menu, removing my fav Crispy Chicken burger. Don't bother with the new chicken sandwich (soggy bread, was messy, and lacked flavor).
Very good lobster roll! The ambiance and service were great
Sat in an atrium that opened to an outdoor terrace. Perfect location to Penn Station/MSG. Food was pretty good, incl GF friendly.
Quick and yummy!
Extremely poor service, really slow. We had to get up and find the waiter to serve us.
Terrible service. Table not set up completely. Particles of food on table upon our seating. Single serve condiments had been opened and used. Missing a napkin and essentially thrown at us. Food ok. Not great. Waitress rude. Would not return.
Great experience with great food.
The food was okay. The hanger steak was good but the famous Versa burger was nothing to write home about. It was just a burger. I had high hopes for the Louisiana barbecue sauce but it was very watery and didn't taste like BBQ sauce at all. Our server was nice but the drink were overpriced and took a while to arrive. The ambiance of this place is not really my thing. They had a DJ which made it really loud and lots of loud groups of people. There is an outdoor part but the views don't seem that great. I really don't know what the fuss is about.
Pizza looked delicious but wasn’t as good as it looked.
We were apart of 6-- and all were wowed with our entire experience at Versa!
We are staying at the hotel and needed an easy option after we flew in. I couldn’t get a call back to get a reservation so I made one on open table for much later then we wanted. It was disappointing to show up and they had lots of room and sat us in at a less desirable table. Service wasn’t great. Decent food and cocktails but not a great wine selection.
Cozy cute little rooftop gem. Loved it will be back soon.
Versa was delightful. Excellent service, delicious food that was artfully presented. Highly recommend.
Hostess was horrible. She said we’d have to wait 45 mins to be seated when there were plenty of tables visible available. Went on open table and got a reservation available right away and instead of apologizing she made sure to seat us in the worst available table of the restaurant. Never going back.
Terrible and unapologetic service. We ordered drinks from the waitress and waited at least 20 minutes. The food took even longer. She blamed the bartender but said the second round was on him. She had an attitude and was completely frazzled the entire time.
Food was awful. Over cooked chicken and the impossible burger was impossibly awful.
The food was outstanding. I had the NY strip. It was incredible. Other guest had pasta with pesto also amazing. Also had salmon that was very good. Had empanadas as a appetizer and it was great. Music was to loud for this 57 year old mainly because of the hip hop choices. Overall great place.
The servers were not as attentive as they could have been. The temperature was not regulated as it could and should have been with outdoor heating and fans, etc. The bathrooms do not have paper napkins. Hand dryers are germ spreaders. They take the germs from the floor and bathroom surfaces and recycle them without disinfecting.
Really impressed with this rooftop bar/restaurant.
Had a great DJ playing on Friday night. Great seating and loads of screens for sport (if your interested).
Would definitely go again.
If you are looking for a view of Empire State then this isn’t the bar to go to.... has no real view at all
Very high energy indoor and outdoor restaurants with delicious reasonably priced, shareable food and a full-service bar for drinks. Keiron was a wonderful bar man. Denise, the restaurant manager is so accommodating and professional. The wait staff is available at all times. There is a security presence which is helpful for tourists & hotel guests.
It was great, service was fast, weather was amazing and there was a nice breeze.
Next time, I would rather sit far away from bar area. overhead music was loud and couldn't hear the conversations in my group
Was there a couple of weeks ago and food and drinks were excellent, didn't feel the same way this visit. We had to send 3 drinks back, they did not taste good. Burratta came out cold, burgers were OK, guess I expected more.
Dinner before a concert. Food was excellent. Music too loud. Need more servers.
The Lobster Roll with French fried was to die for. The Kale salad with avocado was amazing. Will be our go-to place from now on!
Wonderful place. Staff were fantastic and food was lovely.
The food and the drinks were perfect. The ambiance was very nice. The only issue was with the valet parking. They charged alot ($75), and then told us it would be 45 minutes to wait for the car when we left. They should of told us so we could of prepared, it made us late for our engagement we had.
We enjoyed our dishes, service was good and loved the open roof top! The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the noise level.. I could barely hear our waitress and it was so hard to hear conversations with my daughter.
Over priced but good food & drinks. Bathrooms were in desperate need of attention.
I had brunch at Versa (brown buttered pancakes and shrimp & grits) the pancakes were a HOME RUN but the shrimp & grits weren't for me. Next time I'll try the Lobster Avocado toast instead but I'm DEFINITELY going back for those pancakes!
Service was great at first but waiter disappeared once food was served
Loved Versa, easy to find and the perfect place to grab brunch! Delicious food and fun ambiance.
Food and ambiance was lovely, not what you'd expect in a hotel restaurant. Service was ok, some good points and some could use fine tuning. Nothing bad, just a bit more would have made the experience 5 stars.
Everyone loved the short ribs appy. Too bad it was cold and damp, would have loved to have been there when the roof was open.
Great place for lunch.
Versa is close to Penn Station, so it was convenient for me from Long Island. It is in a hotel on the 5th floor. I was surprised at how packed it was on a Thursday evening at 7:30PM. They couldn't have all been guests at the hotel, so it must be a happening place. The noise level is highest ever experienced and you could not have a conversation with your table mates. The food was good.
This place is really nice! Located on the top floor of the Rennisance Hotel, it can get busy between hotel guests and visitors, however it is large enough to accommodate. On the pricier side, but done so accordingly.
It is just OK restaurant. Service was good but I am not coming back. Beers were not cold enough... Lobster sandwitch was tiny...
For almost the same value, Robert at Columbus Circle and JAM'S at 1 Hotel Central Park stay my favorites!
My first time here but it won't be my last. Two great bars to sit and have a drink, wonderful atmosphere throughout, excellent food, great service. Bartender and waiter were both personable and accommodating. I absolutely loved the place.
