   our valentine’s day experience was fantastic!! a complimentary cocktail and a rose started our experience, and we were quickly greeted and sat. We were even allowed to sample two different wines when we were unsure of what we wanted. Service was absolutely fantastic and the food was INCREDIBLE. you can taste how fresh the ingredients are and see your pizza being made in the oven at the back of the first floor. We loved our experience and plan on coming back for regular date nights.

   Absolutely OUTSTANDING! This place gives every pizza place I’ve ever been to a run for their money! Wow Wow WOW! My only regret is not taking pictures. We had the homemade mozzarella, the trio of pestos, a white pizza and a red pizza — I cannot remember which speciality pizzas we got but I can assure you, every pizza is incredible. We also has the mussels, which is an absolute MUST have. We also had the fried rice ball and another friend ball of some sort. Both were excellent. This is our new go-to hidden gem date night spots.

   Too many tables on the lower floor with not enough space for guests or servers to get by. Constantly bumping into patrons as they eat. I’m young and have no problem using my phone to look at a menu but they should still also have some hard copy menus available on request for those who do not wish to use their phone

    Pizza us always good but most of the other stuff off the menu is not nearly as good. I ordered a frittata and got a fry omelette and a side of unseasoned potatoes.

    I’m not sure how the fire marshal allows a place like this to hold that many people. There was little room to move around. The bathrooms were disgusting! The server couldn’t get our order right. And I’m sorry two pizzas and a salad should t be $80

    Still very good but Covid definitely had an effect. We used to go frequently before Covid—then moved, then Covid —-so this was our first time back in a couple years. The food was still good but not quite as great as it used to be. The burratta was hard and the arrabiatta pizza my husband ordered looked exactly like my margarita pizza. Service was good. Our server made an error and fixed it immediately. Paper menus are available if you ask. Valet parking doesn’t exist anymore but you can get street parking—just prepare to walk a couple blocks.

    The pizzas we tried were outstanding, and the service was exceptional! The only thing that slightly marred the experience was having to look at the menu on our phones. I don't mind the lack of a paper menu/chalkboard/other visual cue when the menu is relatively small, but Verde has lots of options and the mobile interface isn't great. It was a bit frustrating. Basically, if you are like me and have difficulty with no paper menus, I think Verde is the type of place where you need to know what you want to eat before you get there. Again, the food was delicious and I look forward to trying more of their pizzas!

    VerdeResponded on September 21, 2022So sorry about the lack of menus but we do now have a few available. With the constant changes in product cost and menu changes it has become difficult and costly to keep up with it all. Printing is very expensive so what we have done is print a few and also now have I Pads that will give more size to the eyes. Please understand that restaurants are still challenged on so many fronts and if the food is enjoyable hopefully some will give a pass to the lack of items and in this case menus. tks Ed

    We spent Father’s Day lunch at Verde ! The pistachio pizza was divine. The cappuccinos were delicious. Lastly, the red wine on tap was cold and perfect to drink on a sunny day on the patio. Would definitely go back to Verde.

    Extremely good food, friendly staff, and quick service. Pizzas are on the more expensive side. My biggest complaint about the restaurant is that the noise level is extremely high, to the point that I debated leaving or asking to be reseated. The restaurant could benefit from some rugs or other items to dampen sound, echoes, etc.

    DON’T MAKE A RESERVATION AFTER 8pm! I had an 8:30pm reservation and arrived on time. When I arrived, the hostess informed me that the kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes. When I was seated, I ordered everything at the same time and asked if the entree’s could come after the appetizers and was told “no problem”. Next, everything arrived at the same time and the server

The server should have staggered the order slightly, so you could enjoy the courses, but end of the night does get a little tricky on timing. I will discuss this review with our team and reevaluate our presentation We are considering staying open longer but staffing is still a concern Weekend Brunch is always an alternative

    We have gone to Verde probably 5 times, but had not been there in a year. Our last visit the pizza was not great. This time was no better. Neapolitan is supposed to be like a chewy cracker. That is why is is so thin, it crisps up fast. Verde’s doesn’t. It’s amazing as thin as it is the center is always gooey. You take one bit and all the toppings come with it. You really can only eat it with a knife and fork, that’s not pizza. It’s sad because the pizza tastes good, but for the goo. The ambiance and service is always excellent. Just need to make a true Neapolitan pizza

    VerdeResponded on June 15, 2022Sorry we were not as you remembered but I assure you our product has not changed since 2013. In Naples, Italy, the locals always eat their uncut pizza with a knife and fork and the dominate style is slightly moist in the center because of the fresh mozzarella used. In 2012 we were making a similar moist pie but learned that the moisture was not acceptable in Baltimore so we switched to draining our fresh mozzarella over night to remove some moisture and the result has been our product since 2013

    The food is great and we love to sit outside along the sidewalk. It is the perfect place to have an outdoor dinner on a non-busy street corner. There are plenty of options to choose from and the service has always been good and very personable. We always love going there.

    First timers at Verdé and it was great. We had a bunch of apps which all came out very quickly and each ordered a pizza. We did go on a Friday night which meant a crowd and the noice level was very Lloyd upstairs but the noise level eventually dies off the later it got. Our server was extremely busy but did great and even brought up a round of espresso martinis with our desserts to thank us for our patience. And then come to find out our server was actually the GM. He said they were short staffed that evening and he had to jump in to help. It’s sad restaurants are still experiencing staffing issues but great to see a GM help support his staff like that. Will definitely return!

    We had a delicious Mothers Day brunch at Verde. The Crab Benedict Pizza was amazing. Unfortunately it seemed they were short staffed or unprepared for the busy morning, because our server was in over his head. Our order got mixed up, we didn't receive one dish, received multiple of others, and the bill was all sorts of incorrect. BUT the service was very friendly and we enjoyed our brunch.

    I think it was a bad/off night for the wait staff but we had to wait 20 min for the initial and only glass of water, another 15 for a drink order, and following the conclusion of the meal, had to wait another 30 min to close out the tab to leave. The food, however, arrived quickly and was delicious. So noisy my companion and I couldn’t easily talk. Will only stick with takeout or sitting at the bar going forward.

    Wonderful experience! We arrived a few moments late (called ahead to let Verde know) and we were warmly greeted upon our arrival. Anieve (Sp) was our waitress. They were very kind, knew the menu, and was so patient and helpful. Our food was amazing and we found ourselves commenting on how good the bruschetta, drinks and pizza we ordered was out of this world. The tiramisu was a great desert to end our meal. Great job Anieve and all of the Verde team.
