   Our server worked really hard and they are lucky to have him. His time was, however, spread thin across way too many tables, and so unable to provide great service. We waited too long for everything. The cocktails were great. The very-limited brunch food was just OK. If we ever come back, it’ll be for drinks only.

   Let’s start with the positives, as there were many. The food was actually pretty good, and the place was cute and inviting. Our waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable, but clearly over subscribed as there were more tables needing service than she had time for. None the less she tried her best, I would hope management would find a way to staff better as this is clearly a popular place. Given the cost of the food, they can certainly afford to staff adequately. Finally the cocktails were good, not great, but good. Not quite as good as their prices suggest, but good all the same. Clearly they are trying to be a step above where they are and I respect that ambition. The only real downsides are that compared to the tapas places in Milwaukee (barely a half hour away) Union House is clearly trying to punch up. Which again is commendable. I love an underdog. But I feel a little shortchanged in the interim as it’s the same cost but a different level of service, presentation and quality of the food. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good. Just not quite the same level. If they could fix the understaffing, the speed of delivery and the overall presentation they would be a real treat in Cedarburg. I’m not going to fault them here for the incredibly poor service the table next to us received as they said it was a kitchen or ordering system issue, but if I ever had to wait that long (90+ minutes ) for my tables 5 tapas plates I would have been a lot more upset and frustrated than they were. In comparison we got our tables 5 (nearly identical) plate order in 30ish minutes. And other tables around us seemed similar if not a bit slower as it got busier. Noticeably slow compared to my experience with tapas places around the country (speed being a benefit of tapas), but not as bad as the table next to us for sure. But again I don’t know all the details, so I can’t use that against them. I hope they fix whatever situation gave rise to it and don’t let that happen again though.

    I didn't realize Union House had added a food menu. So glad there's another place to eat after 3pm in Cedarburg. Oh, and the drinks are AMAZING.

    Great food, service & drinks! My husband & I shared a few tapas. My favorite was the tuna & the flank Steak. I’m excited to go back and try a few others. We went on a Saturday during happy hour. Glad we made a reservation!

    Stopped for brunch on a Sunday late morning. Had the Breakfast Board - delicious and quite enough for two people. The Bloodys (with full Blatz bottle as chaser- no less) were a tad strong, so a bit of water was warranted. The corrugated tin wainscoting gives the place a nice industrial, hip ambiance, but be prepared to speak up as it does nothing to quiet chatter from adjacent tables. A tip of the hat to our server, a congenial and enthusiastic young guy whom made brunch pleasant. Aside: This was our second time here, and both times the boards were well above the norm at other places. Glad they made it thru the pandemic!

    Charming spot for Sunday Brunch. The breakfast board and bottomless mimosas are the perfect way to start the day. Staff was extremely warm and welcoming, a must-stop if visiting Cedarburg!

    We very much enjoy tapas/small plates dinning. The craft cocktails were very good. Most of the plates we selected were very good, a few only average. While the restaurant was busy our service was attentive. Our table was in the barroom which increased the noise level some. We will dine there again.

    If you're sick of the $10.99 special @ the diner where you get 4 pcs of toast, 3 pancakes, and an egg skillet with another 1 lb of potatoes, then this is your place. Very trendy inside, great atmosphere. Unique idea with the Brunch Board. Reminds me of the West Coast. Perfect amount for 2 people to share. You won't fall into a food coma afterwards and you'll have a productive Sunday.

    We had a large party (9), so we were put in the back room with hodgepodge of chairs and a coffee table. More suitable if we were just having cocktails. I asked if we could be moved to the front room in a more appropriate dinner setting. They readily agreed, scrambled to put three tables together for us to accommodate our situation. Really nice holiday setting with great atmosphere. We ordered a bunch of their small plates to share for dinner and it was a hit. Sliders and meatballs for the kids. Amazing steak crostini, seared yellowfin tuna, and charred romaine for the adults among others. Great cocktails too. The service was friendly and expeditious. The plates kept coming and we ate it all up. I think prices were what you would expect for this type of experience. Not crazy expensive, but not super cheap either. You can eat selectively to stay on a budget if you want to. One complaint would be the background music. I love electronic music, but don't want to feel like I'm at a club when having dinner and cocktails. Maybe more downtempo would be better. Otherwise, we had a great experience and I would definitely go back, as well as recommend to others.

    My best friend and I had a girls brunch out. The choices are minimal for brunch but it was perfect for us. And the bottomless mimosas were amazing. Our server/hostess was very sweet and busted her butt, most tables were full the entire time we were there.

    We were a party of 6 and ordered the charcuterie board and all of the Tapa plates. We had a blast!!! It was an amazing experience for a group that loves to eat, drink, talk, and laugh together. Having a whole evening of different plates served that we chose to all sample and share as a group made for a memorable evening with friends! Well done to the whole team who served!

    I grew up in this building and wanted to check it out since I haven’t been in years. The owners are so nice and really did a great job updating and remodeling the inside. The service was excellent, our waitress was on top of everything and super sweet. Food and drinks were excellent too. Highly recommend.
