Uchiba was as good the second time as it was the first! The service is great and so is the food. Definitely a favorite of any Charlotte restaurant!

Our dinner at Uchiba was wonderful. The food was good, but the service was even better!! We had an amazing dinner and our server was incredible. She made our night so special — it started out a little bit rough before we even got to the restaurant and she turned everything around. We tried a bunch of things and loved them all — everything tasted great. Definitely want to go back and try more!

Oh my goodness. My mom and I came in for an early dinner this past Sunday and had the best time. Our server was Erik and he was OUTSTANDING. Right off the bat, was incredibly welcoming, kind, offered perfect suggestions to order, and honestly just made our whole experience. The food and drinks were a 10/10 but Erik made it even more worthwhile! I will absolutely be back and be asking for him! (Also, Wendolyn was wonderful!)

The food was great, and the vibes were high! We sat on the patio, and it was perfect outside even in the 90 degree heat. We tried a bunch of different menu items and they were all great. Our server recommended the tofu temaki (which neither of us would have ever tried) and it was really great and refreshing!

Uchiba Charlotte has instantly become our favorite new hotspot in Plaza Midwood. From the moment we walked in, the front desk hostesses set the tone with their warmth, professionalism, and genuine friendliness — the kind of welcome that makes you feel like a regular on your very first visit. The craft cocktails were on another level, thanks to the incredible talent behind the bar. Christina, Sidney, Armani, Val, and Arissa each brought their own style, skill, and personality to every drink. Watching them work is part of the experience — they’re true artists, and it shows in every pour. We were lucky to have Ceyenne as our server, and he delivered flawless service for the entire three hours we were there. We never had to wait for a thing. His timing, attention, and energy made the night feel effortless. The atmosphere, design, and location are exactly what Charlotte has been missing — modern, vibrant, and buzzing with life. And of course, the food is simply the best around. Uchiba is the newest must‑visit destination in the city, and it deserves every bit of the hype. This is our first time trying and we were for happy hour. First, it has complementary valet parking which is a smart choice given the amount of parking available. The moment you walk in you immediately sense the vibe, and it’s a beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating and outdoor patio. The service is fantastic and impeccable. Apparently they went thru a 1.5 months long training. In regards to the food, we tried a little of everything to get the fully experience from salad, to nigiri, temaki, yakitori, chicken wings, ban/bao, and even dessert. The nigiri was fresh and tasty, and overall everything was delicious and flavorful. In terms of value, get the wagyu and chicken burger and the yakitori. Overall, definitely worth a try and would come back to try Uchi. The only complaint is that the portions esp the nigiri’s were small. Thx
