   Lovely to have an outdoor seating option even in a strip center. Food and service reliably good. It's a great local restaurant that's been around for a LONG time under only two different names.

   We went for Easter Brunch. My daughter and her boyfriend have been previously and noted the regular menu was better than the buffet offering. We sampled everything and the food was decent. The beef and lamb were tasty. The breakfast sausage was over fried and was more like beef jerky. The squash was way over cooked and soggy as hell. We would consider trying here again, if in the area, from the regular menu.

   Overall good food and value. It’s a comfortable and welcoming place to eat, that we frequent every couple of months. However, we were disappointed that the area around the front door and patio had quite a bit of trash laying around. The unkept exterior would have given me second thoughts if I hadn’t been to Twin Arch Tavern several times before. The interior seemed cleaner, but would benefit from a bit more attention to detail. We’ll be back, but Im not sure our friends who joined us for the first time got the best first impression.

   The food was mediocre at best especially for the price. For 4 people our bill was $200 and none of us had alcoholic beverages. I had been to Twin Arch Tavern several times a few years ago and really liked it so not sure what happened. Besides the food being mediocre at best, we sat in a booth and it was small and the benches were very close to the table. For four adults, the table booth was not comfortable at all. I will not return unless things change. I will say that the service was pretty good. No complaints in that department but they probably need a new chef or change the menu.

   Three of us had the sandwich/soup combo. Cream of crab and onion soups were very good. One had shrimp salad, good; two of us turkey sandwiches (lot of turkey). I had sweet potato fries, good and hot. Waiter provided excellent service. Thanks.

    We visited for the thanksgiving day buffet dinner. Was quite happy with the food. However there was an awkward start with my party of 2 seated at a 6 person table in a loud side room. It took an intervention with staff to finally get moved to a booth more appropriate for my party (we were informed the booths were reserved despite my also having a reservation). 1 hour into dinner some of the booths supposedly reserved were still unclaimed. I appreciate the staff were eventually able to switch our table but disappointed it was not addressed immediately as the restaurant was not busy and made for a tense start to a good meal.

Unfortunately when you originally booked your reservation on 11/3 you had booked for 4 guests, not 2. Since table assignments are completed as soon as the reservation is made you were then assigned a 6-top table to help evenly space the amount of reservations coming in at that time slot so that we could utilize the smaller tables for smaller parties. Once those assignment's are done it becomes rather difficult to make adjustments especially when we have been fully booked, we then have no choice but to wait and see when guests will be finished with their tables or a cancellation appears. We did happen to have a few tables that finished up early (every one was allotted a 2 hour time slot to sit and enjoy the all you can eat buffet) and we were then able to make the move for you while still holding the many tables that were reserved for our last rush that evening at 5:30. While I know it is not ideal to have a party of 2 sitting at a 6-top table it was our way of being able to guarantee that your spot was reserved for you for the full 2 hours that we had promised. We hope that you can understand the vast amount of logistics that go into planning a holiday like Thanksgiving and know that we do everything we can to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability; and that you will join us again in the future!

    An all around terrible experience. Food and service was terrible. Food was overcooked, the served cold when it did finally come out. Wait staff were slow, lackluster and indifferent. We were seated in the back in a freezing cold room. Other diners were complaining about the cold as well. Waitress was extremely slow and unresponsive. I ordered the NY strip, med rare. It arrived well done, cold, and with a small empty plastic cup sitting atop it ??? I have no idea what was supposed to be in the cup, but it was empty. My side of coleslaw was not fresh! The cabbage tasted old and fermented. My wife ordered the seared rockfish. There was nothing seared about it. It appeared to have been baked. It was overcooked and tough. Completely inedible. No seasoning at all. It was also supposed to be topped with crab meat yet there was no crab meat on it. My sisters scallops were overcooked, rubbery, and cold. We found out later we were supposed to get salads but the waitress “forgot” to offer them to us and “since we didn’t ask” they weren’t brought. Isn’t that her job? She didn’t seem to care and was very aloof. My wife asked for butter and sour cream for her baked potato and after about 10-15 mins the waitress finally brought it and tossed it on the table. At no point were we asked how our meals were or if we needed anything else. We do not give wait staff a hard time or send food back, but other diners however were doing just that. We just had to live and learn with this experience and what we learned is that Twin Arch Tavern is not a place we should ever go to again.

    The food is really good. Best Reuben I've ever had. Salads are great. Good burgers. Just starting to sample the entrees but I have not been disappointed with anything. Also, the staff are all great!!

    Nice greeting by receptionist. Booth in front room was pretty well worn Lilly was a great waitress helping us divide the large crab dinner in two for our anniversary. We did not garlic on our asparagus. So she got new. She mentioned the lemon cake which turned out to be very delicious S He did not charge for the dessert which was generous. And we left very ha Pay and satisfied.

    All around great meal. We both ordered the 16 ounce ribeye and it was the best steak I've had in years, maybe forever! The scallop appetizer was done well as were the sides. Bree, the waitress, was on top of everything and so friendly, I'd describe her as perky.

    Twin Arch Tavern is our absolute favorite restaurant in Mount Airy. We felt blessed to be able to secure a table for Father's Day. The food was excellent and most of us got the Father's Day special although ordering from the menu was an option. Our server was attentive, friendly, helpful, and tolerant of our many requests.     I recommend you update your webpage. The pictures on your menu are old and not at all representative of what was actually served. If I had not been there before and was going only on the menu photos, I would have gone to another restaurant.

    Olivia was our server and she was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! The prime rib was amazing.. the orange roughy was good but a little salty.. we’ve had it before and it was great..no biggie.

    When reservation was booked using site customer was allowed to choose between the regular menu and mother's day menu. My reservation was for the regular menu. When the party arrived we were told that the Mother's day menu was the only option available.

    The food was very good, with the exception of the macaroni and cheese. It tasted like Velveeta mac & cheese. I would’ve appreciated some homemade. Our server was very polite and friendly, she seemed stretched a little thin however. I guess that’s everywhere.

    The buffet had a variety to choose from. The deviled eggs were phenomenal. I went back for seconds they were that good. I went there for bacon and eggs. The bacon was so good. Hit the spot. Service was excellent. I could not ask for a better server.

    This was my second visit to Twin Arch Tavern, and I thought it was better the first time. The food was good but not great. I ordered a shrimp salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was decent, but the fries were not right (on my first visit, the sweet potato fries were perfect). My dining partner ordered a mushroom, spinach, goat cheese pizza, and it was also good but not great. Service was exceptional, as it was during my first visit. The enclosed/separate bar was packed and very busy throughout the evening. The dining room was not as crowded as it was during my December visit. It was fairly quiet. I have every intention of going back. It's a good value with friendly, attentive service, good food, and good bar service.
