   Really fantastic brunch. All of the food was excellent(fried pickles were a real highlight!) and our server was around to check in on us just the right amount. If I had to give a piece of constructive feedback, it would be that the drinks could use a little work. We had three different drinks where the stronger flavor drowned out the more subtle ones to the point where they weren’t discernible. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back.

   While the chicken was seasoned I could not taste the most important seasoning which is salt so it tasted like it needed salt, and the waffles were bland and flavorless. The staff and our waiter was very nice, and the atmosphere was diversive so 5 stars for that.

   A lovely second time getting brunch. Service was pleasant, the venue itself was clean and well-lit. The food and drinks were delicious and the prices were accurate for the market. 10/10, we’ll be back again! :)

   Gorgeous restaurant with very delicious southern food. Excellent friend chicken, grits, etc. Creative menu and nice specialty drinks. This is one of the best restaurants in downtown Milwaukee.

    Nice restaurant. Most of the food was very good. The fried chicken entree however was not a mix of pieces, simply legs. They were small and lacked flavor. Also tasted a bit like it had been sitting. Other dishes were vey good; biscuits were exceptional.

    I had the perch fry with an old fashioned and my companion had the shrimp and grits with a chardonnay. The food was delicious. Just wish they had a combo fish fry where you get perch and cod. The only down part of the meal for me was the cole slaw. It was dry and dull. I didn't try the rye biscuit but in general I don't like rye bread. Overall experience was very good.     Overall a very pleasant experience. We ate early dinner before the Morgan Wallen show on 04/14. My group had reservations and we were quickly seated. Waitstaff was excellent, very friendly. Our alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks were delicious, appetizers (fried green tomatoes and pickles) were also perfect. The atmosphere was great!! Very clean restaurant, indoor and outdoor dining options. The only downside came with the entrees. I had a steakhouse salad, which was excellent. But the other three entrees were overcooked, unfortunately. Deep fried chicken was dark and quite dry (also brought boneless and she had ordered bone in), my daughters baked Mac and cheese was very dry, and not cheesy at all. My husband had the mahi-mahi, which was also a little overcooked and dry. That was disappointing for them. Overall, I would give Tupelo Honey another try, maybe was just an off night.

    The hostess and Josh our server were wonderful. The food was great. Just bummed they were out of Coirs products for happy hour and had to drink Miller. Very nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend and I'll be back.

    Outstanding food. Friendly employees from hostess to waiters. Our food was delicious and was delivered quickly to the table. Fabulous flavors, inviting decor, and clean. We loved the southern sloggins around the restaurant! Worth trying for sure!!

    So glad that they take reservations--did not have to wait long to be seated. Did have to wait a bit to order/receive food. The longest wait was for one of the 4 inidividual bathrooms which was annoying because I just wanted to wash my hands.

    Went there before a play and since it was happy hour two people in our party ordered the mini chicken and waffle for dinner. They both loved it. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes as an app - excellent! Service was great- shout out to Howl. Pork chop and shrimp and grits dinners were great as well.

    I loved the light and airy decor. The large open floor plan felt like separate rooms decorated with southern flare. Unfortunately, our appetizer was cold and our dinners were just okay. What bothered me the most were the filthy aprons the two servers in our section were wearing. Wiping one’s hands on their apron rather than washing them is poor hygiene and makes patrons question the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. Management should keep new aprons on hand and deduct the cost from servers’ paychecks. One hour into the dinner hour servers shouldn’t look so unkempt.

    Enjoyed a delicious weekday lunch with my daughter, a student at Marquette. Food was delicious. Only unexpected detail was that we asked our server for some additional details about 3 choices that we were considering and she appeared to have never seen or tasted any of the offerings. Strange.     Ambiance, food and service were great. My only issue was meal came with two sides which was good, but one side was salad. Typically, salad comes out first, before entree. Since it came out together, wanted to east salad like you typically do, the rest of my food got a little cold. Serving order seems to be a common complaint in negative reviews, perhaps they could adjust this, or rethink if this is how the waitstaff is trained to do it.

    Our server, Olivia, was efficient and very engaging. My friend and I ate there 3/21/23 for lunch. We r both southerners. The food was amazing. Try the brussel sprouts appetizer. They will not disappoint.
