Dining room was at half capacity so not an understaffing issue… Beautiful spot but needs some serious management input to get it up to par….

   I had a reservation on Mother's Day for the brunch buffet. The food was subpar for $130/person. It was just a regular breakfast that I could have made at home. The value of the restaurant's pricing only reflects the hotel and the semi-decent view. My son was not told that the orange juice was not refillable, yet his drink was refilled. Paid $36 for orange juice. There are simply better option, especially in Napa.

    My wife and I had a lovely mid-week lunch at Truss in the Four Seasons Hotel and Spa in Calistoga. The ambiance was upscale and comfortable. The food and drinks were delicious. My wife had an amazing citrus and vanilla mocktail. I had a tasty cheese and arugula pizza and my wife enjoyed a hamburger with parmesan truffle fries. The portions were more than generous. The bill was a bargain for the location, food, and scenery. Highly recommended and we look forward to visiting again.

    Super disappointed with the Easter Buffet that was $135.00 per person. Not a great selection for the price and the food was cold : ( it was nothing like the Mother’s Day brunch from 2022. We unfortunately will not be coming back for any experience dining.

    Very new and not yet crowded for the time of year, March 2023. Overcast, but not raining. The restaurant, Truss, which is at the resort, Four Seasons Napa Valley, was very quiet. A few people at the pool, a few in the restaurant eating. It looked like there was going to be an afternoon wedding in the "barn" structure on property. I could guess the restaurant may get quite loud when full. They have a loverly wall of windows overlooking their patio seating area, overlooking the property, pool, etc. Lovely bar within the restaurant. We started with Espresso Martini's outside by the fire pit sitting area. Small servings, but tasty. After being sat at our lunch table, window-side, we ordered the hamburger and grilled chicken sandwich. The burger is a double "smash" patty with cheese, shaved onions, pickles and secret sauce, which is basically a Thousand Island-style dressing. The bun was a poppy seeded bun. That is all you get. Not sides included. The grilled chicken sandwich came loaded with lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. Also on a poppy seeded bun. Also served on its own. But were very tasty. We did also order a side of regular french fries. They are served with a tomato-based aoli and ketchup if needed. The food is very good. The meat on the hamburger is cooked one way due to being "smash" patties but they weren't "that" smashed. Could have had cooked to a med- rare. All in all the food is tasty but it is not a "cheap" meaning inexpensive, for a burger or chicken sando. $24 for the burger, $28 for the chicken sandwich. Add a bottle of $100 wine...that's quite a lunch. But we did enjoy ourselves!

    Where to start. We had high expectations, both based on the reviews, and that this is at a Four Seasons property. For our table, service was not proactive, It was nearly 15 minutes before we were able to place a drink order (and only after asking if we could). The restaurant wasn’t busy (maybe 50% full), and appeared well staffed. As for the food, the oysters were the star, everything else was quite salty and while well presented, still missed the mark. It was a long two hour meal service, which towards the end, just be some more comedic as it felt like we were being held hostage.

    My wife and I frequent the Four Seasons and Truss is always our go to place. Even with all the Napa Valley and Calistoga options we always love our experience at the bar and in the dining area. We haven’t been able to get a warm night yet on the patio but we will! The food and service are second to none and I highly recommend Truss!

    The food was outstanding however your busers and wait staff need more training. I watched a buser use a unfolded towel clean a table , being the owner of over ten restaurants ( only one now) one of my requirements was use a folded towel when cleaning a table.our server was very nice but seemed to forget us towards the end of our meal. A dessert menu was given us by someone other than our waitress, it was on the table for no less than 15 minutes and no one asked if we would like dessert. The facility is beautiful as well as the furnishings.

    We had hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. The food took more than an hour for that. Our bottle of wine was gone before the food came. I am sure that was part of their strategy. And our order was taken by the hostess since the waitress kept disappearing. I had requested my hamburger to be medium and came medium rare and had to be sent back. They did offer us free dessert, but I would rather that they improve their service.

    This is a must try restaurant! It is the best meal I have ever had in Calistoga. The 7 chefs in the kitchen make everything from scratch and everything was exquisite. The waitresses were so pleasant and they even had a coat check in service—free with no tip expected. Top notch everything at a very good price. We will definitely return many times.

    Excellent! I didn't even get a picture based we just inhaled the food. I ordered the salmon with a side of whipped potatoes and it was the best dish I've had in a long time the kale pesto was AMAZING! Can't wait to visit again.
