Great experience overall. The food was great and the service top notch. A little on the pricey side...but worth it for a special occasion.
Trummer’s is always a great place to share a meal, but wow! Wonderful service and food all while feeling safe during these weird times. Definitely recommend their outdoor patio!
Outstanding for an anniversary dinner! Hadn’t been in awhile - it won’t be as long for our next visit!
fun enjoyable evening.
Trummer's has always been near and dear to my heart. The location is so quaint and off the beaten path, that just entering the restaurant gives you a feeling of small town warmth. The menu changes frequently, but there always seems to be something for everybody. I'm quite sure if someone had a dietary restriction, the kitchen would be more than happy to accommodate. The food is comforting yet gourmet and the pastry chef Megan, will just knock your socks off with her amazing desserts. The cocktails are well balanced and unique and the staff treats you like family. If you happen to visit for brunch you must ask for Patrick. He is one of the best servers I have encountered. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and so charismatic. He really knows his stuff and always makes wonderful suggestions. If you haven't visited, this place is a must!
Food was very good, and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable about offerings. I highly recommend the braised short ribs. Really enjoyed the evening on the outdoor patio!
Hands-down my wife and I had the best experience ever at Trummer’s. It was our first time going and we will become regulars. The hostess was polite welcoming and very professional. Patrick our server, and the entire serving staff were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for culinary experience and a unique welcoming vibe.
We waited 20 mins to get a drink and another 20 after that for one of our 2 appetizers we ordered, one of which was focaccia bread. There was one waitress for our dining room and she seemed very nervous and fearful of being there. The lights should not be bright LED, either they need to be turned down a bit or go for LED soft bulbs. Food was great as usually but would be nice if everything lined up.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and it was our first time out to eat in 7 months due to covid. Service and food were excellent, and we felt very safe with the precautions we saw in place throughout our meal. We can't wait to go again.
They helped celebrate a birthday. Josh our server was great very engaging, friendly and attentive. Drinks were amazing and food was even better. Short ribs were out of this world.
The current partial limited menu still offers many choices, in fact so many, it makes it hard to choose what to pass up. Well, I will just have to return and dine on what I decided I could live without tonight. Excellent food, arrived very promptly at table at proper temperatures. Service was a bit more casual than on a previous visit, but it was pleasant, prompt, responsive and a more team focused effort. All in all, a very pleasant meal and evening.
Good overall, service was little slow and it wasn’t that crowded... we had a child with us so more painful to wait 20 mins between interactions.
TITANIC TUESDAY is always a great time. The staff always treats us like family
Love love Trummer’s! Excellent food and service. The salmon was delicious. Our drinks were great- my husband got an old fashioned- one of the best he’s had! Awesome bartender.
Excellent food and service. We had anniversary dinner and Trummers provided extras that made it special.
With COVID I haven't been able to visit Trummers as much as I would like. We went to enjoy brunch on Saturday. The cocktails are well balanced, unique and delicious. The pastry basket is to die for. I forget how absolutely amazing the dessert chef is. you could just eat the pastries as a meal! I ordered the chicken with biscuits and gravy. I received a huge portion for under $15. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy, the biscuits were crispy on the outside but tender and soft on the inside and the sausage gravy was flavorful and rich. Our waiter Patrick was wonderful. Professional, very friendly and had great suggestions about the menu. He was very attentive. If you have never visited Trummers, the food is top notch, wait staff is attentive and friendly and the location is beautiful.
First time at Trummer's in years. Made a reservation and got there at 5:45. Restaurant was fairly empty. Was told no tables available on back porch even though many tables were empty. Taken on side porch which was dingy. No candle put on our table all night, although all other tables had them. Server was not very friendly and seemed annoyed that we moved. She lightened up right before we left. Food was okay. Don't think we will return.
Good place to eat, service was good food was good!
Enjoyed a birthday for my wife at Trummers with our teenage kids. From start to finish the staff and service were fantastic, respectful and the food did not disappoint. the environment and open space felt like an occasion to celebrate my wife. She was happy. Happy wife. Happy life. Trust me.
Delicious food and wine. It was a little noisy sitting out on the front balcony.
The outdoor seating area was great! The heaters work great and the tables were spaced out. We haven’t been out in a while and we felt very safe. Also the service, food and drinks made this a wonderful evening out.
Always a Great time
In a word this visit was disappointing. The service was not great. Its started out well with the hosts at the host stand, we were seated on time. The server forgot to put in our appetizer and then seemed to give up on us for the rest of the evening. She rarely came over to check on us until she saw the floor manager come over.
The food was OK, we go to Trummers because in the past the food has been extraordinary. I had Tuna Nicoise, the salt was so overpowering, the tuna had no taste at all though it had a nice sear. The porcini truffle butter was too rich for the prime rib.
For the first time we left without getting dessert. The desserts offered ,again, looked like anything you could get anywhere. Nothing extraordinary.
I am not sure when Trummers started offering a "shotski" Something I thought was more used at a college parties and not at restaurants of what in the past was a special night out.
We are chalking a lot of this up to COVID and trying to get more people out to restaurants and the challenge of getting fresh ingredients. We will wait for some time to return.
Trummers is truly amazing. During COVID, the staff and team had done a great job to set everything up for safety. The patio ambiance is just beautiful. Stefan (the owner) goes above and beyond to create a special experience for guests.
Additionally, I am normally a wine drinker, not big on cocktails. However The Titanic (their signature cocktail) remains to be the best cocktail I have ever had.
Can’t recommend this restaurant enough!
Amazing memorable experience! Great food great service :)
Creative, delicious & excellent food. Perfect atmosphere & outdoor dining. Attention to service & details. We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary and couldn’t have been happier. A memorable evening! Thank you, Trummers. We will return soon!
Fantastic! Really appreciated the care that the restaurant took yo address safety in the coronavirus world we live in...made us feel comfortable. The food was fantastic as usual, as was the service.
excellent food as always. I enjoy returning to this neighborhood gem time and time again
While we miss the fine dining of Trummers on Main, the food and service at the “new” Trummers is still stellar. My tomato tart was savory, my salmon perfectly cooked, and the cucumber dill broth/sauce it was in was a perfect accompaniment—I could have eaten just that it was so good. The Titanic has not changed (and that’s to be applauded—why mess with perfection?). But the best was the strawberry shortcake. Perfectly ripe strawberries, smooth whipped cream, and a chiffon cake that made me rethink shortcake. I’m sure my husband and son enjoyed their meals as well, but I only had eyes for mine!
This was my first time eating inside a restaurant since March, and I was a little nervous. The staff was relaxed and comfortable, while adhering to mask wearing and other protocols. They made me relaxed, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Respectful service, quality food, great drink selection, casually paced meal, reasonably priced for what you get. Dinner for 2 with cocktails and wine, appetizers, and signature entrees ran us about $140 (pre-tip). My first visit, I highly recommend and plan on coming back!
To start with, the bottle of water was brought to the table with what looked like mud on the side. Replaced promptly, when we asked. My salad had what looked like a small bunch of grape stems in it. My steak had a large amount of fat & gristle, and was a bit tough.
Very pretty and very nice selection. Nice wine selection and wide price range
Perfect! Excellent birthday dinner. Service was amazing, food was wonderful and they even brought me some chocolate caramel truffles!
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Dining outdoors can be noisy due to motorcycles.
Great outdoor porch seating. Delicious food and a fantastic wine selection.
The service was very slow though the waiter was nice. My fried snapper was way overcooked, but the dessert (banana pudding ) was delicious.
Personal attention. Chef Copt stopped by graciously. Very delicious food. Lovely ambiance.
Great place with an unusual specialty of Austrian wines.
Trummer’s always does an amazing job! Food is outstanding and Stephan is the consummate host! We dined on the porch as I’m not comfortable dining inside yet but they took appropriate precautions for COVID. We will be back!
