This is other case of overvalue restaurant based in the famous name. In fact the visit at the restaurant result in poisoned food that finished in hospital. Deplorable...

There is no way this should be a Michelin star rated restaurant. I have been to several, most recently and locally Osseania at Atlantis Palms, and every single one of them was better than this. I suspect the star was awarded because of Massimo Bottura’s patronage. There was nothing desperately wrong with the food, it was competently cooked, but I expect to eat things out of the ordinary. This wasn’t. The world renowned tagliatelle was bland and under seasoned, even I put more flavour into my humble ragu. Add to that the wine list featured Mud Creek NZ Sauvignon blanc at 350 dirhams. I pay 35 dirhams for this in the UK. I expect a mark up but come on! I used to frequent a Michelin star restaurant in the UK called JSW. He had his star taken away because his cuisine ‘had not kept pace with modern styles’. If that involves having pizzas on the menu Michelin need to take a good look at their standards.

My wife and I were truly amazed and impressed with not only the great tasting food, wonderful ambiance but more than that the care the staff took of my pregnant and handicapped wife. They went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable. The food was amazing and they deserve the Michelin stars but it’s the level of service and care that makes me recommend the restaurant.

second visit, first one superb but this one showed the restaurant has dropped their standards. The food was nothing above average at best unfortunately. For the price, my wifes prawn pasta had 3 prawns. The staff were great but for the price this wasnt good.

Very Good welcome from employees. We didn’t took the discovery menu. The food was good but at the level of one Michelin star. You find this kind of quality in a lot of classical Italian restaurant in Italy. Friendly service.

Service was very slow, over 15 minutes between courses of a 9 course set menu. They didn't have the cocktail we wanted, so we had another which was very nice. We made our way through 3/4 of the courses and after speaking with the maitre d and customer service host the service was still slow and bad (They delivered the first course to the table by pushing the amuse bouche dishes out of the way with the new plates - basic service, clear before serving a new course!) . We also spoke with them about the cod dish which was dry and overcooked. So the chef himself came to deliver our next course which turned out to be a piece of tough, chewy, inedible lobster. We eat in a lot of Michelin star restaurants, I cannot believe this restaurant has one and has maintained it. A couple of nights later we were in a non Michelin start restaurant (I won't name names or you will think this is just to promote them) which was far superiour in food and service than this place - my advice - GIVE IT MISS!!!

My wife and I ordered the classic menue: Each single course was outstandingly fantastic: well-balanced rich tastes, arragements full of phantasie and attention to small details, prepared and served with love. We look forward to come again.

The food menu was very poor, doesnt reflect on the total bill. You cant charge this money for a basic bread, pizza, grilled chicken breast with some gnocchie from the supermarket. I will never recommend this place for a brunch, im really disappointed. Waste of money. The service was sometimes annoying.

Had a lovely experience for my birthday. We had our 1.5yr old son with us and thankfully he was well behaved! The set menu was great value for money. When booking we mentioned that it was for a birthday and so they brought us a lovely cheesecake with candle and happy birthday message, when delivering the dessert. However, upon checking the bill we had been charged for it….. I mentioned in and they removed it.

I don’t recommend the brunch experience. I hope it’s not a reflection of the food normally. The food was very underwhelming. Two mains were served cold. The gnocchi tasted rubbery and the sauce like it was from a can. The tiramisu was the best thing served - it was stunning. The live music was great, top points for ambience, shame the food wasn’t the highlight.
