Had a lovely lunch at Tiburon Tavern. Enjoyed the new dishes on the menu and a glass of champagne. Service as usual was great! Beautiful day to dine outdoors.

Love the outdoor dining. Our server was professional, easy going and attentive. The food is fine but the portions are small and the prices are very high. 2 buttermilk pancakes alone 🥞 are $21.00.

It is not my practice to give negative restaurant reviews. I know how difficult it can be to keep a business going in this econony. However, in this case, I cannot think of a worse experience I have had in any restaurant anywhere and I feel it's my duty as a citizen to warn others. Granted, it was a holiday. Granted the restaurant was visibly understaffed. All that aside.... We were seated outside as requested in our reservation. The table was not set, table settings never arrived. It was very cold outside, we requested three times, three different workers, if we could have a heater moved to our area. Finally a kind, overworked waiter moved a heater to us. Our party of four waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. My husband finally went in search of a waiter who soon took our order. We would have left during the long wait but we knew every restaurant in town was booked and were hoping to finish in time for fireworks. Unfortunately the food did arrive in a timely manner. I say unfortunately because the food was barely edible. But before we could dig into the nightmarish feast, my husband again had to go inside in search of table settings. The tavern burger, ordered medium rare was basically raw. The pinso (pizza?) was soggy and tasteless. The chicken satay was coated in what tasted like French's mustard. There were other items ordered, I didn't taste them but none of them looked appetizing. We wanted to make 9:30 fireworks so paid and left. We would have left no tip but for the obvious fact that the issue is management, not waiter related. I have felt mildly ill since we left.

Absolutely a fantastic experience at Tiburon Tavern. The food was delicious and the service was warm and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully done, making it a place we’ll definitely return to!

I’ve been coming to Tiburon Tavern for years and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent and the staff always makes us feel welcome, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It’s one of those places you can always count on for a great meal. Highly recommend!

It took us over 15 minutes to get seated, even though we had reservations and no one else was in line. There were plenty of open tables. Once seated, it took about 20 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. Once we ordered, the food took about 30 minutes to get to us. After that, no one came to the table to check on us. This restaurant received good ratings. I'm not sure if they were just short staffed, but there weren't that many tables ahead of us when we sat down. The staff could have done much better at attending to us!

Overall, brunch was average. It may have been due to a busy Mother's Day. Portions were on the small side and I feel overpriced for quality. Service was attentive and accommodating, so that was nice. Ambience feels like a hotel - which makes sense as it's connected but I was expecting more from the online photos and current rating on Open Table. Disappointed and likely won't be back. Crab benny: Crab cake was cold in the center of my second muffin. "Truffled" hollandaise did not taste of truffle at all (not a bad thing on crab benny but don't expect truffle flavor). Whites of the poached egg were not set. Corned beef hash portion was teeny! Actually ended up getting lunch after (I know...). I'd rate this restaurant closer to 3/5 stars - just ok - but service was pleasant.
