    We’ve eaten here a lot over the years as the kids really like it. I felt the prices were a bit expensive for the size of the portions we got. Prices are increasing and portions are becoming smaller. Also some food on the menu wasn’t available which I felt should have been mentioned when we were seated. Food definitely wasn’t as good as previous visits.

    Myself and my family had dinner in thunder road after a days Christmas shopping,we usually do that every Christmas,we were shown to our table straight away,the staff were lovely,food was really really good,the children asked for extra portions,we had a lovely evening,thanks to all the staff at thunder road...

    Have dined here before and always had a good experience. But this time wasn't great. Server took our order by memory and got half of it wrong and forgot to put our drinks order in. Another server had to sort those issues out for us. Going to be a while before we consider it again.

    Food was really nice and came to the table so quickly. It was the service afterwards that was the downfall. We asked for a dessert menu but nothing came so we asked for the bill. They seemed to forget about us again, asked for the bill again and eventually got the bill. Had to wait another while to actually pay. I've come to Thunder Road for years but this experience turned me off coming again soon especially during busy periods. But the food was really nice as always.

    Very warm from the moment we walked in. Music was so loud couldn't have a conversation. Waiter had difficulty understanding our order and mistook a starter for a main to which one of us was waiting half an hour for his starter while the other 2 of us had ours finished. Had to ask twice for the bill as the first person asked walked away and never came back. Music played was great but would have enjoyed more than one Xmas song out of the 2 hours we were there. Drinks menu was a tad overpriced, especially for just fizzy drinks.

    I haven't been in Thunder Road Cafe in years but was very glad I went back. The food was delicious and we were served very quickly. There was no problem changing our reservation at short notice. In saying that it was a Monday evening so I don't know if that's always the case. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back. There were 6 clean plates going back to the kitchen. We had 4 different types of burgers, wings and ribs and chicken tenders. All came with chips.

    One of the best experiences I've had. Thought nothing of it but when booking we said it was my birthday and they honestly made me feel very special, wishing me happy birthday and then singing happy birthday with some ice cream at the end. The staff were downright delightful, always quick, attentive and polite. The food was phenomenal, though I'd have killed for a few more chips! The live performers were a calibur you'd expect to see at a paid ticketed event and were truly wonderful and talented (if only a bit too loud at times due to the sound system). We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back. It'd had been 11 years since my last visit I wont be making that mistake again

    The experience was nice but it’s not a place that I would return. Even with a reservation, we couldn’t get our table on time and when we were heading to be seated, we were already told to leave in less than 2 hours (which it should be 2 hours according to the reservation). It took time to get our order and basically when our order arrived, a few minutes later we got the bill from the floor staff because we had basically 10min left to go. The moment we were checking the bill, the floor staff was making faces about us. If you offer 2 hours to a guest, you have to wait for these hours and not ask them to leave before that, also, if your floor is not happy, it’s not our fault.

We value all feedback as it allows us to evaluate our services and grow as a business. We are delighted to hear that your experience was pleasant, however, sad to hear not all elements of the experience met with your approval. When you arrived a few minutes early for your booking you were informed that your table was in the process of being prepared for you and were asked to kindly proceed to the bar area and await notification of your tables completion. Your booking was for 19.15, the first notification that your table was ready was issued to you at 19.16. When you didn't respond to this, a second notification was issued to you at 19.19 to which you responded. Our polite and bubbly host (Burcak) explained to you as she seated you at 19.21 that the table would be required for another booking at 21.00 to which you personally agreed. Towards the end of your visit your professional and courteous waiter Marlon, (the same waiter mentioned in the five star review prior to this one) gently reminded you of the upcoming booking and issued you the bill, you then left at 21.10. We are an exceptionally busy restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar that caters for thousands of diners on a weekly basis. Positivity, patience and understanding from our guests, is greatly appreciated by us, and is, quite frankly, paramount to our survival as a local family run business. It is very unfortunate that you will not return and we thank you for your custom on this occasion. Our hard working team wish you the very best in your future dining experiences.     I'd always like the Thunderroad cafe but hadn't been for a while and it wasn't quite how I remembered. We were waiting 20-25 minutes to be seated (we had reservation), left simply standing in the bar area (we had 3 pre teens with us). The table for 6 was small so little elbow room. The teens really enjoyed the food but I found the chips very greasy and the chicken a little sinewy. One of our servers was very pleasant but the other almost threw the plates down, spilling chips in my sister's lap and knocking one of the drinks (thankfully it didn't spill). Bit disappointing.

    The food was brilliant for all 5 of us although we missed having a fish n chips option on the new menu. Staff were super helpful and we appreciated the singing n balloon for my brothers birthday. Would definitely go again.
