Had a reservation, still had to wait for a table. Also had to wait after seating for any type of service. There were only a few occupied tables, not enough staffing.

My husband and I ordered the 3 course dinners from a wonderful selection they were offering that night. The food servings were very large, great tasting and servers were attentive. This will be one of our "go to" restaurants in the future. Theresa's Italian is located in The Legacy Resort hotel which is a beautiful property. There is ample parking and just off the I8 freeway in Mission Valley.

Wonderful staff and our server was amazing! Good drinks and amazing meals. Our 17 month old son had a good time as much as the adults did! Hopefully we’ll stop by again when we visit again from Sacramento!

Incredible food. Current special $40 for a 3 Course meal, ordered twice both visits, second time took friends and they loved it as much and I will go back for sure.

After a 3 Hour drive from LA we decided to celebrate Father’s Day at Theresa's Italian Restaurant ( it was our fist time at this place). We sat unattended for 20 minutes before we could get the attention of a waiter named Arturo. Far from being apologetic, he appeared to treat serving us as a huge favor. Despite the initial delay, we tried to brush it off and requested Arturo to take our order, his attitude was more of annoyance than service. When asked about beer choice we got the same response 3 times in a raw - “read the menu”- it was not only unhelpful, but outright disrespectful. When my wife asked to speak with the manager, Arturo stated that no manager was on-site and suggested we lodge our complaints at the hotel reception. Once we came to the receptionist to see if there is anyone in charge of operations present at this time, we saw Arturo running towards us and screaming “I won’t serve them and they need to get out of the restaurant with their kids right now”. Not sure why did he feel like he is authorized to decide if we were allowed to stay with our kids at the restaurant or not and to be served by someone else but that was just absolutely insane. As the situation spiraled, we requested for a different waiter to finally get some food, as our 3 year old kids were starving after a long drive, only to be told that no one wanted to serve our table ( it looked like there were only 2 servers on a floor). When we asked Arturo why he is acting this way - he demanded that we leave again, threatening to call security. We left without tasting a morsel of food, feeling extremely frustrated, deeply disappointed and mistreated for no reason. Would not recommend Theresa's Italian Restaurant or step my foot into this restaurant ever again! It’s a chaos that lucks any respect, hospitality or responsibility.

Had dinner at Theresa’s before attending a play at the Legacy on-site theater. The food and portions were great and our service with Danae even better. My wine pour was ample, the dessert divine. They had a 3-course special with prime rib or salmon (with 2 sides), an appetizer (I had a HUGE wedge Cesar salad), and dessert (choice of cannoli, tiramisu, or sorbet) for a total of $40. I appreciated that the kids menu was in a formal sleeve as well. It was, unfortunately, almost empty in there! Not sure if there are many people staying in the attached hotel. I’d definitely go there again for a fancy meal before an event at the new theater.

Everything was great. The presentation of the Ceasar salad, along with the delicious dressing, was excellent. I like the choices of sauces, like the bacon jam. The pasta was perfect and you can't go wrong with topping the meal off with some gellato.

The service was horrible. The server could not get the order right even after writing it down. The food came out wrong. Half of our groups food came out and the other half did not. When it finally came out, it was wrong. The gentleman serving us was the supervisor which makes things even worse. He had no understanding of what was going on and seemed to overwhelmed with room service, dining service and pulling some type administrative take for the day. We were seated at 6:30 and we didn’t leave until almost 9:00. It was ridiculous! We also dined at the restaurant the previous evening. Danae was our server and she was superb. She is the reason why we came back the next evening, but quickly learned when she wasn’t there, everything falls apart.

We went to pre-prom dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend and had a wonderful meal together. We were on a time crunch and when we saw a very large party hadn’t ordered yet, we had a feeling our order would get caught behind theirs, however, my husband spoke with the staff and we ordered quickly and were out within an hour and they were super attentive.

The food was plated so nicely. We had lunch and the calamari was delicious as was the hamburger. The garlic parmesan fries are the best! Try them! It was fairly busy when we were there but service was good and the food came out quickly. Perfect for our lunch hour!

Stayed at the Legacy resort and Theresa’s was conveniently located in the hotel. From the ambiance, the food and the service everything was excellent. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and was delicious. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Theresa’s.

We had a reservation for 3 people, the restaurant was not busy and there were a large amount of clear tables available. However, we were told that there was a large walk-in group apparently which had took presidency over our reservation, not to mention we were guests of the hotel. We stood at the counter for over 10 mins; we were told to wait a few mins and we would be sat but we weren’t. Even though there were plenty of tables available? We eventually just walked away and went else where. Really poor service.

The food is amazing! It seems random to have such a great restaurant at a hotel but the Chef and Asst Chef (not sure of formal title) are amazing! We started with the warm Caprese dish. It’s not a “salad” but a delicious flavorful light but large dish. We also had the meatballs with polenta. Perfectly cooked and not dried out at all. We had the Rib-eye and the Halibut. Both cooked to perfection. Not over cooked for either which happens so frequently. Then of course, we ended with the peanut butter mousse. To die for! Go meet the Chef when you visit. He is lovely!

This was an anniversary dinner and we have been looking for a restaurant like this for some time, an ambiance that is both elegant and quiet. (Why do so many modern restaurants have such a loud, raucous dining room?) The service was impeccable and the food very, very good. Our steak was one of the best we have had, better than some well-known steak restaurants charging more. We had to split a steak as neither of us could eat a 14 oz. steak by ourselves. We will return.

Made a reservation for 6pm on a Tuesday. When we arrived they told us that they were closing at 6:30 and weren't serving dinner. Staff was helpful and empathetic, but we left hungry.

I made reservations a month prior to visiting. The day before my reservation, I got an email to confirm that I will still be attending. I confirmed that I will still be there, however when I arrived for my reservation on Sunday evening, the manager said that the restaurants kitchen was closed due to remaking their menu. (Strike 1) Next, it turned out to be a buffet style with limited options, cold chicken, dry noodles, tough veil meat and packaged desserts (strike 2). After that, it turned out to be almost $40 per person (strike 3) Highly disappointed. Not a good way to spend my money. I specifically chose this hotel because of the restaurant and reviews it had. Servers were kind and understanding, but the restaurant should have communicated better.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. It was a date night for my girlfriend and I. The food was good for the price and the atmosphere was very elegant. I highly recommend for a relaxed casual date night.

We waited two hours to get our meals and one to get glasses with water on our table. People-friendly food is good. They only have one person in the kitchen and two waiters. They took out our plate before with finish our food. They shall hire more people to take care of the clients.

The food was Absolutely Fantastic. Probably the best Sea Bass ever and the pasta dishes were delicious! The ambience and decor was very nice, as is the entire Legacy Hotel & Conference Center where it is located. Unfortunately the service was very slow and appeared to be understaffed. Possibly this was because of the concert event that was happening. I would definitely recommend to give them a try.

The food was excellent but one person did NOT GET HER SOUP AND SALAD until the rest of us were almost done it was awful for her and upsetting. Our waitress pretty much ignored us after we complained. We WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR OUR FOOD 😡Very sad but my fettuccine was superb♥️
