One of my favorite go-to places when you want an elevated experience! Food, drinks, decor, ambience always on point. The staff and service is always above and beyond. This is fancy without feeling fussy. I’m a regular here!

Simply a spectacular experience. Our service was the best we have had in a long time. The meal was perfect. The Chef’s creativity was seen in our appetizers and the entire meal experience. Our server was with us every step of the way. This is a must restaurant and dining experience.

Nice ambience and very flavorful food. I had the trout, which was very fresh and hot. Another one of my guests had the salmon and it was also very good and fresh. Would have liked to have the option to order from the bar menu as well but was told it’s not possible. I understand only serving the bar menu at the bar, but I think they should have the full menu available to the dining room guests. Super nice and knowledgeable waitress. Overall good experience.

I love the Woodall! I love the food and ambiance! This was the first time that the service wasn’t exceptional. It was extremely slow. However, the excellent food made up for the delays. I’ll continue coming here over and over!!

We frequent this place a lot and usually everything is great. There is an occasional hiccup but never anything major or that they don’t fix. Our last visit, the service was super slow because they had a guest chef doing a separate menu while their regular staff prepared the normal menu items. Sharing/splitting the kitchen made for super slow service. They messed up 2 orders - including one of the kids meals and the server was like oh well. Didn’t try to fix, bring what we actually ordered, or even take it off the bill. However what was most disappointing is the 40% increase in the cost of the kids meals to substitute green beans for fries that was never mention. By the time they increased the price, they could have basically ordered an adult handheld entree. First, I think restaurants of this caliber should be be offering better side options for kids - not just fries - and if there is such a significant up-charge it should be stated so the customer can make an informed decisions.

Sorry that we were unable to fix your meal, I remember you & your 3 children joining us on the patio. I was never informed that there was something incorrect with you meals or I would of fixed it myself. I also remember you asking my other MOD about the upcharge. With some of our kids meals the half side of fries is included for free, however, when we switch the side on a kids meal there is a $4 upcharge ($3 less than the normal charge for a side) because it is a change to a full portion size, as we don't offer a smaller kids side. Sorry if some of our staff has not been consistently doing this. We as managers try to fix it when we see something rang in incorrectly, but it has been our policy since opening. Sorry for the miscommunication, I'll talk to my staff about it ASAP!

The Woodall exceeded expectations on every level! The menu is wonderful and you can tell everyone there knows it. Chef went above and beyond. Our server Sean was fantastic and our hostess Blake even sang my friend happy birthday…also she’s gorgeous. I highly recommend, would dine many times again!!!

Food was average, too overpriced for the quality. The medium raw fillet was totally RAW & the cocktails were too small for the price. Won’t be back for sure.

We're sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. Whenever there is an issue of us miscooking your food we do our best to rectify it immediately as we do not want any of our guests to leave unhappy. In regards to the drinks, most of our cocktails focus on flavor and balance of spirits. They all contain more alcohol than is standard for most cocktail bars (which is 1.5 oz; ours range from 2 to 3 oz). But we don't add a bunch of additional juices or sodas to give the illusion of more drink but at the same time dilute the quality of the spirit/taste. Even our wine pours are 6 oz instead of the standard 5 oz. I sorry that we are unable to wow you on this occasion, but please allow us another opportunity to show you what we're capable of. We hope to server you again soon!

Went to The Woodall with my girlfriend based on the pretty solid ratings that they received. I had moderate expectations for the food, but I’ve been wrong before. Our server, Brian was very welcoming. Both my girlfriend and myself ordered salads. Mine arrived, hers did not. When I asked about it, Brian told me that I didn’t order one. Hers was vegan, so if my Caesar was for her, it was still wrong. So as a server, why argue? As of 24 hours later, she still hasn’t gotten her salad. My main arrived, it was ok at best. The side of spinach was the most bland dish I’ve paid for in some time. The only redeeming item was the fries, which you can get anywhere. We decided against pursuing her salad and opted for the check, which included a side that we didn’t order. Brian told us that he screwed up another table and that’s how ours was screwed up…. Some places, you just choose never to go back. This is one of them.

Ive been here many times but when the head chef chris is not working the kitchen the food is very much sub-par. I came for sunday brunch and My chicken and biscuit was so boring and the fries were over cooked with no seasoning. I wish they would go back to their original outstanding menu!!

Our overall experience was spotty. Robert our server was absolutely excellent. We had crab beignets, charred okra, and shrimp cocktail. Surprisingly the shrimp and okra were our favorites. The entrees were lackluster. Steaks had no flavor and chewy, the cacio e Pepe was doughy and chewy, and the trout was good but sauce was too sweet for a Hong Kong sauce. The desert was excellent. Hopefully just an off night.

Sorry to hear that you did not find joy in our entrees. We never enjoy hearing that a guest isn't satisfied once they've left because 1, it doesn't give us the chance to make it right, and 2, you having a great experience is a top priority for us. As far the cacio e pepe the gnocchi is supposed to be on the dougier side as it is closer to the dumpling family, but I'm sorry to hear the overall texture was not to your liking. Our hong kong style sauce is also enriched with lemon grass and ponzu which does give it a sweet/salty finish. Maybe it was an off night, but that's no excuse. We would love to try to find what dishes would have made your experience a 5 star one with us. I suggest trying our Salmon entree or the broccoli compound butter on the steak! Dined for 2 on a Tuesday evening it was a great dinner . All the dishes tasted fresh and flavorful. The server did an excellent job highlighting the specials and describing the dishes. The crab beignets were a delicious surprise we randomly tried. My date had the trout and I had the Bolognese and both met our expectations. The presentation, flavors , ingredients all made me want come back and try other things this chef has to offer. Cocktails all were top tier ,we love whiskey so everyone was tasty and strong!The staff was attentive and the restaurant is lovely. Worth a visit for sure.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. The food is good, the steak and salmon were cooked at the temperature requested and demi glaze is excellent. Our server was great. My only complaint is the prices on the cocktails are way to expensive for this venue! I probably would not go back because of the cocktail prices!

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed our food & service. Our servers & chefs put a lot of energy into each dining experience because we truly value everyone that walks through our doors! Our guests are our top priority As far as our beverage program is concerned, we do make all of our syrups, cordials, infusions, tinctures etc, in house which can take hours if not days on some. Our relationships with our vendors allow us to offer our house cocktails at $11-$14 which is below the Atlanta average by $2-$4 for the same quality. We understand with rising beverage costs this may not always stay true which is why we offer drink specials from 4-6, Mon-Fri, at the bar, for Happy Hour. We would also be happy to show you some of our more affordable entry spirits if you'd give us the chance again!

Our first try. The appetizers and salad were good. I had the trout which was too salty and basically tasteless. Nice glass of chardonnay. The server was a sweet and attentive young woman. Very nice. Haven't decided if we'll be back or not. Ok overall though.

Sorry to hear that your first experience with us wasn't the best! Chef strives to create familiar & comforting dishes while pushing the boundaries of taste on some of his others. All while bringing in the freshest, most local items we can. So when we hear we fell short, especially on something some easily fixed as salt, it breaks out heart. I'm glad to hear that your server was great, but the whole dining experience is multi layered and the food is at the center of that. Please allow us to fix the situation if something like this every occurs again. Tried this restaurant for a second time. This tie was just mediocre. The value of the food was not that great for the $$$ I paid for dinner. The ribeye was extremely fatty.

We're sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your 2nd experience with us. We always try to recover any guest that is unhappy before they leave because we all make mistakes, but one mistake we can't live with is knowing you walked away unsatisfied. While the portion of our wagyu ribeye is 5 oz, it is one of the larger portions in Atlanta especially at a price point of $89. Wagyu is known for being top tier, but one of its major flavor profiles is from its fat marbling, & the cut we serve sits at the highest BMS level of 12. I would love to try to regain you as a guest, and maybe point you into the direction of our 8oz filet medallions (with the broccoli compound butter) I think the portion size and the leaner cut may be to your liking. Wonderful ambience and nice variety on the menu. Oyster presentation was beautiful. appetizers where fantastic every last one. Shishito peppers one of the best I’ve had. Plating was delightful, especially the carpaccio. The beef tallow fries where an unexpected menu treat. Large party service was excellent, our server Amy was (friendly, fast and fun). We highly enjoyed and will come back.

Have not been here in over a year and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered different fish dinners which were excellent! It was a late dinner so we did not order appetizers or dessert. Only soft complaint is that the restaurant was not too busy when we arrived and afterwards, yet they sat another table right next to us with a young child. Could’ve separated us a little without problem.

The Woodall is my neighborhood restaurant and I am so glad it's walking distance from my home. I can' t rave enough about the Crab Beignets, the Ceasar salad and that the drinks are top notch. I will continue to return!
