We had not been to Wolfe's Tavern for a while and we were so happy we decided to stop in. Our meals were fabulous and the bartender, Julie, was lovely! This just might become our Saturday night place!!!

The pub has lost its coziness with bad lighting and the way the dining room works and as zero decor. They have not put any money into it in decades but it was not as if it was a “classic” to begin with. Owners simply don’t get it. Once we found a waitstaff person, he was solid but seemed we had to wander around to find them. It was a Sunday an evening, so staffing may have been slimmer, but we are in peak summer season so crowds from the hotel or elsewhere (including our Open Table reservation) are to be expected and staffed accordingly. Food was excellent and portions large if that matters to some. Price for food good. Overall though it drops given the dismal setting

We sat down at the first table and was not cleaned so we moved to a different table and the same thing, dirty table and no one was in the restaurant, The place overall was not cleaned. We got up and left. Not recommended!!

The music entertainment was enjoyable but was extremely loud. It was hard to visit and speak to one another. It really took away from our family get together. Also, it is sad the conditions of The Tavern and the Inn. I recall it as a stately, fun, and grand place back in the day.

My reservation was not honored. They said they were closed in between breakfast and lunch. We drove our whole family there with three kids. We had to spend another 30 minutes trying to find someone that would take us for breakfast and we were hungry. Pretty bad morning.

Most of the food was dry ie: chicken and fish dishes, desserts were VERY lacking, prime rib roast at carving station was overcooked, no fresh omelet station an item expected at this price point, extremely slow and unattentive wait staff an EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING buffet

We ate there for an Easter Buffet. Plenty of options were available. The roast was amazing. A plethora of vegetables and salads. All scrumptious.
