We had a spectacular meal at the sundial. Mike our server and staff were AMAZING! Certainly made the evening special for our anniversary. The food was divine: charred octopus app, lamb chops and infamous filet mignon. Side of brussel sprouts. The brought out a cheesecake dessert with a candle for our celebration! Of course the views are magnificent. Sundial is definitely the spot in the ATL!

Service was subpar, way too many frozen drinks on the menu. Food was fine but not good enough for the price. We tried to order the calamari and the server completely ignored us. The view was good though.

The food is definitely not worth the price. I am unsure if this is owned and operated by the Marriott, but I am guessing it’s franchise owned and operated, as I would be shocked that Marriott would allow such poor quality. Bacon bits were used on the salad, the mashed potatoes almost certainly came out of a box, and the porterhouse steak was absolutely nothing to write home about. It’s definitely more of a tourist trap given that it’s on the 72nd floor, and hence the views are amazing. It is a shame as it’s physically a great venue, but they need to hire a real chef who would rebuild the menu from the ground up.

We had a great time. It was my birthday our server, Anna was absolutely great, she made us feel right at home with her professionalism and expertise; and the fact that she has been a server there for over 40 years was just amazing. On a scale from one to 10 I will give them a 10, if you wanna place to impress your guest and eat some good food go to the Sundail restaurant.

The Sun Dial is absolutely beautiful! I manage a rooftop event venue in San Diego, so I have high standards for views, sunset ambiance, and the overall experience. I traveled in from San Diego and my boyfriend from Las Vegas, so we’re both accustomed to spectacular settings and aren’t easily wowed. We were here! But the service is what truly made our evening exceptional. Kajuana at the front desk was PHENOMENAL. My boyfriend was breaking down the huge IBM conference, and his finish time kept getting pushed back. She graciously adjusted our reservation several times and made us feel welcome throughout. Our server was next level, too. I wish I had his name, but he was an older African American gentleman who mentioned he had worked there for many years. He was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I hope management can identify him because he deserves recognition! My boyfriend arrived exhausted and feeling depleted after a demanding workday. Through their warmth and genuine hospitality, our server, Kajuana, and the entire staff truly turned our night around. We left feeling so much better than when we arrived. Beautiful views are memorable, but people who make you feel this cared for are unforgettable. THANK YOU!

Our server Anne was a delight. Friendly, didn’t rush us. All staff we encountered were incredibly friendly, even if it was just in passing. We dined in the restaurant, but the staff all encouraged us to head up to the bar for a 360 degree view. Decor is a bit dated, but the view is wonderful.

For a 4-5 star restaurant it was mostly just the view. Service was just ok. I happen to see the receipt from the guy at the table next to us. He only left 10%. I left 15% but felt like that was to much. If you’re gonna spend $150 to $200 per person on food and drinks, you should have a much more professional atmosphere. A much better wine list. There was about two choices for each Variety of wine. And those were just OK. The linens had yellow and blue stains all over them on the table. I asked for a medium rare and got a well done lamb chops. The restaurant didn’t have good ventilation. It smelled horribly like fried food.
