Naomi was super helpful and easy to work with to secure us a group booking, and place us in a private room which was really special for my mums 60th birthday celebration. Everyone had a fantastic time - drinks were delicious, service was friendly, and food was tasty! Thanks so much to the whole team, especially Naomi!
Fantastic cocktails, great service and really fun ambience
was awesome on the whole but the free cocktails were pretty below average, the ceviche was a little too salty (abd i like my food salty), the avocado and mushroom was a little overly spicy but i'm nitpicking, the whole meal was awesome vibes and a perfect valentine's day
did feel like service was a bit slow and a bit hard to get a waiters attention but everything else was AMAZING
Great cocktails
Great food. Great ambiance.
We went to The Roosevelt for an after dinner cocktail. What a delight it was to enter such a beautiful bar and diner. We had delicious cocktails -- the decor, service and ambience were fabulous. First time for us and our guests, but will definitely be returning very soon!
Love the Roosevelt! Handling the pandemic measures well, too.
Celebrated my birthday at the Rosevelt. Thank you for the excellent service and playing ABBA in the end for me. I am definitely coming back.
Food is great! But I go for uplifting music and service xx
A definite 1920s feel for a fantastic cocktail bar that serves great food.
Food was great, the cocktails were amazing and the staff lovely, had a great experience
Great place for a few drinks with friends, great atmosphere, noisy but just adds to the experience
Such a great vibe from a historical bar in Kings Cross. Will never tire of going here, and definitely recommend it to friends, families, couples, or anyone!
Not as good as it used to be
Great cocktails, great food, great service, will be back!
Came here for my mum's bday with a group of 8. First impressions were good, nice venue, good music. Took forever for them to take orders for first drinks and food. Huge long gaps in between. Two ppl ordered steaks that came out cold and was not served until 15 mins before close (very late considering it was a 2hr booking), and two of us ordered salmon and were both sick the day after. Texted the following day to report tummy pains from the food, and no one bothered to respond
Doubt we'll be back. Very disappointing 😔
We had a booking for 4pm and were running late. They were so hospitable and friendly. Drinks always fantastic as usual. Service impeccable. We will be back.
Great cocktail bar with a history. Some spectacular cocktails- we started the night here and ate elsewhere
Met up with a couple who have recently moved to the Central Coast from Erko. Had drinks before dinner. Really great place a have a fabulous cocktail.
Birthday celebration
The waiting staff were amazing and the good and drinks are always top notch.
Great service and cocktails
Delicious food but was super busy and obviously understaffed. 5 of us ordered together and 2 people had finished before the food arrived for the remaining 3 people.
Dining here felt a bit like being on the set of Faulty Towers. Hadn't ordered anything and were browsing and the menus were whisked away. We had to ask for them back twice.
Service was slow, it took a while to flag someone's attention to order.
Some good points: cheese platter, charcuterie board and the liver parfait are great. Good wine decently priced. Great desserts and dessert cocktails.
Bad points: steer clear of the beef cheek and pumpkin gnocchi unless you like your gnocchi to taste and feel like half cooked very chewy bread dough. More of a watery Irish stew.
Thanks so much for your feedback. We apologise for the standard of service - obviously, it wasn't up to our usual high standards that we pride ourselves on. We had 2 floor staff, and our chef call in sick so we were short-staffed however, we're disappointed this impacted on your evening. We would love for you to join us again. Please let us know when if/when you come back. Cheers
Amazing , great service definitely be back !
The food was good the service was good the cocktails were really good.
Wonderful ambience, great hosts and interesting cocktails.
Fantastic cocktails, good food, lovely speakeasy ambience.
And with the current restrictions on the number of patrons its actually a delight to be able to have a bit more space, and gives the night a more intimate feel. Would recommend!
intimate venue with wonderful ambience, great wine list and tasty food, we always have the light small plates which works well if you are not wanting a huge meal. The service was outstanding and the team made sure it was a very COVID safe space.
It was like stepping back in time with a modern twist.. Can’t believe it’s been on my doorstep for years and I’ve never been before..!
Great background music, up market crowd, good choose of menu and nice restaurant/ bar layout.. I’ll be back..
Nice place and good value
Food great and service good
Fantastic place to enjoy a pre-dinner beverage. Service was excellent, and Mumm by the glass has my vote. Great atmosphere.
Such a fun spot for cocktails! Great service and atmosphere. The best cocktails!
Had a dinner reservation on Saturday night. It might be helpful to have someone regularly attending to people standing around or lining up at the door, there was a bit of confusion as to people with bookings, wait time for people wanting a drink etc. Nobody knew what to do. The door lady was just lovely and friendly. We had a booking, where I assume you have our name/contact details, but we were NOT asked to sign-in for Covid guidelines???? The ambience was fab, we love dim lighting and lots of noise. Service was great, cocktails divine. I probably would not dine again, probably just have cocktails and snacks. The food was fair. But, overall a fantastic bar, would love to return to drink and chat with friends.
Thanks for your review & for letting us know the confusion you experienced - we do have a staff member outside guiding guests & have clarified w/ staff to ensure that there is no ongoing confusion. With signing in, currently 1 guest per group is required to provide their details to register -this does change on 24/07 to all guests. As you already had provided your details through our booking system, we used these to sign your group in & add to the register. I'm sorry we didnt make this clear.
This was a surprise - very nice bar in potts point with a good vibe and great coktails . we booked for a birthday pre -drinks and it was really enjoyable . We didn't eat so I will rate the drinks and general atmosphere . Unfortunately the service was a little slow … but this may due to Covid19 measures implemented .
I recommend anyone to go there and if you taste the food , please rate it!
First time at the Roosevelt but definitely not the last. Meals were priced decently, minimal selection of drinks but curated well, and staff were great!
A really great night
Get hideout for a cold Sunday afternoon. Service was great!
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Cocktails were delicious as well as the food. Would recommend
This place has been our lifeline during C19 and has kept us hydrated with the most amazing cocktails. It was fantastic to be there in person. The staff are great. The atmosphere is great. The cocktails are out of this world. A local gem 💎
