Our restaurant is family friendly with extensive Children’s Menu, High Chairs and Colouring Sheet to help keep the kids amused.
There is lunch served daily and a very intimate restaurant offering the best in local produce. The Restaurant in The Rising Sun hotel Serve a fantastic new table service lunch menu Monday to Sunday, our head chefs motto is “only the freshest produce will do” and all of this is sourced locally from prime cuts of Irish beef to fresh fruit and vegetables. All our stock is bought fresh that morning and prepared in our very own kitchen by our superb chefs and cooks.

We were an American family of 6 that thoroughly enjoyed our Irish pub food. We had fish and chips, crispy salmon, and several other items off the menu. All were tasty (although maybe not so healthy). Service was excellent with polite, friendly, and attentive waitstaff. Had an overall lovely dinner.
Food was better than expected and it was overall very enjoyable dinner. Only downside was chairs were uncomfortable and speakers were popping / cd skipping. Owner followed up on our experience as we left which was a really nice touch., friendly staff, will visit again
The service and food was very good. We were given a table in a very dark corner of the restaurant when there were others not in use which was very disappointing.
Very nice, casual dining experience for an evening meal with decent portions, although dessert portion could have been bigger. The restaurant was very busy so we ate in the little bar which was just as nice and really comfortable. Would recommend.
