Food was great and the staff were helpful when you caught their attention but there wasn't much contact. Personally the place is so busy there wasn't enough bar/waiting staff for the volume of people. Were given no cutlery till we asked after our meal was brought. Gin is a huge trend right now and was served not in a nice way and no great selection of tonics considering it was a cocktail bar!

We booked a table for 8 and was put on one which was only suitable for 6. Tight squeeze cosy dining😟 The food was ok but the rump steak in Yorkshire pudding wraps where inedible. We say this and got 1 knocked off the bill. It was extremely busy whether that had anything to do with it. It's been better in the week when quieter. You

We had a one night stay at the Premier Inn across the road to the Potting Shed, so it was very convenient to eat there. We were a party of 5 and 2 people were vegetarians, who were well catered for. The draft ales were good. Only downside was that it was a little chilly in the room we were in.

This was our first visit to the Potting Shed and the food was excellent, the ambience was good and the staff were attentive. We will certainly be returning to savour more of the menu. I have recommended the Potting Shed to my friends and family.

Disgusted with service at the potting shed. Firstly it took about ten minutes for three drinks to be served after the order was taken then we went to a table booked previously was advised to call the lady over when we were ready to order as it would be quicker than ordering at the bar. We waited ages before we spotted her and was then told it was a waiting time of about one and a half hours so we left and found somewhere else to eat. Surely we should have been told about the wait when being shown to the table. Will not be returning there.

Pizzas were excellent! Really cute sheds for eating and drinking Felt the burgers were a bit bland, and good meat was used but it lacked a bit of flavour.My bun was dry too . Cocktail was lovely ( a strawberry dackori ) Disappointed with the limited choice of bottled beers. Only parkin or ice cream to choose from for dessert as one was off the menu.

Quirky gardening themed venue. Live music was a little intrusive for conversation but the food was Yorkshire's Finest and the bar staff, though busy, tried their best. A good venue for a relaxed social time....

Booked on line for a table for 2 at 8pm Arrived early for a drink. Asked to be seated at 8.01 pm Table booking had been cancelled. Another table was found. Unfortunately there was a large group of men drinking and shouting making it impossible to hear anything else in the room. Asked to be moved , a very helpful staff moved is into a better position. Asked if we were ready to order. We asked for longer. 3 further staff came over to ask . Called a staff member over to order. She said you will have to go to the bar! The original staff member apologies , spoke to her. And explained a new venue is opening and the staff were in training . From there on had good service, good food love music and after 9 it became less busy which was better. Have eaten here on a lunch time , it was good then which was why we returned. Not great for quieter meal but great venue for lunchtime and drinking.
