At The Post Chicken & Beer, we fry up the crispiest, juiciest fried chicken (which just happens to be gluten free) and pair it with award-winning craft brews. At this chicken party, we only serve fresh, all-natural chicken that we brine for hours, dip in buttermilk, and dunk in seasoned gluten-free flour. Our pressure fryers keep our birds nice and juicy with a crispy crust, even late at night when you’re sneaking leftovers out of the fridge with the door open (we won’t tell). I highly recommend this place. We took a family visiting from out of town and they felt it was a great "colorado" feeling place to go! We got fried chicken sandwiches and salads. (And beer) The kids menu is also fantastic.

If you want to go to The Post - go to the one in Lafayette, the atmosphere is great! Or go nextdoor to the Bohemian Garden (German food). There was nothing special about The Post in Boulder. The seating area that's not high tops is narrow and tables are very small.

Everything was great. My only comment might be the outside of the chicken was a little too well done and some parts were almost burnt. Although it was all still very tasty, the outside had some hard crunchy parts.

Excellent comfort food and super nice server. Our food took a really long time so we inquired about it (not sure what happened) and the manager came over, apologized, and comped a portion of our meal. Not sure what happened, but hopefully not the norm as I definitely intend to go back!

We ordered 2 salads (a Sweatpants and a Susan Sarandon) that were both delicious but nothing like each other. This embodies what I loved about this restaurant- the diversity of menu. These is something for everyone here. Also, the Boom Boom (portobello mushroom) fries were AMAZING.

Loved the idea of gluten free fried chicken. The reality was even better. The chicken tigh fries were really well seasoned and juicy. The yoga pants salad was perfect for keeping things light. The portion was huge.

Manager-> GOOD. Server-> MEH. Food->Good. The issue was our order took a long time to come out so the manager took care of dessert for us. Very smart and nice gesture. The server was invisible. I get that there are BIG issues with help everywhere but how hard is it to check in and bring water or ask if all is OK when you are constantly walking by our table going to the kitchen? Will I return? For sure. Good place with good food. My hope is our server will be better.

We were there after the dinner rush (8:15pm reservation) and the restaurant did not seem particularly busy, but service was slow (and our server forgetful). That said, they served me the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! Food is great.

Unbelievable chicken. Hands down! I am professionally trained and love good fried chicken. The service had a slow start but the manager was most accommodating. Sent us a free app. Didn’t need to do this but set a high bar for his staff. It’s hard to get help, I get it, and the crowds are just starting to amp up w school starting. We had a great time regardless. Chicken outstanding! Mashed potatoes-creamy and also the best! Coleslaw could use a little punch(maybe more salt? Vinegar?) and cheesy biscuits very good. Everyone loved the beer and I loved my special martini(dirty w a pickle!?! Who would have thunk?). We’ll be back!!

The food was just okay. I got the chicken and waffles, and it was nothing to write home about. I also got the whoopie pie for dessert, and not only did it lack flavor, but there was a scrap of plastic in the icing. I likely won’t be back. Not worth the calories.

Very odd experience. The food was spectacular - but it took a long, long time (more than 45 min) to get to us, and no one checked in with us or provided an update during that time. It felt at times like our waitress was actively avoiding our eye contact and our efforts to get more info, though when we did flag her down she was friendly. We thought our order of biscuits would come out first but they actually didn’t arrive until we were all very nearly done eating. The lighting inside is so strange - the lights above the tables are barely bright enough to see the menu, but at the same time your eyes are accosted by the bright lights spilling out down the hallway from the kitchen. It makes for a very odd ambiance, at once very stark and intense but also quite dim and depressing. The food is the only reason I would consider returning, it was truly delicious. I would likely choose a different location in the future - and I would absolutely make sure not to arrive already hungry.

I saw POST chicken on Guy’s DDD, it didn’t live up to the hype at all. Chicken was greasy and you could tell the oil hasn’t been changed in a long time., nothing special for the price. We planned our day around going to Post’s Chicken and left disappointed, also neither of us felt well after eating our dinner and I was sick shortly after. Maybe this place was once great but now not so much.
