The Point in Towson is a completely renovated restaurant and bar in the Towson marketplace. It will be the second location stemming from The Point in Fells, an 8 year strong restaurant placed squarely on the waterfront in the heart of Baltimore’s ever competitive and popular Fells Point neighborhood. We focus on upscale American pub and comfort food with a twist and a bar focused on reinventing classic craft cocktails. We are an upscale bar focused on excellent food.     We had a bridal brunch the staff was fantastic went above and beyond. The chef came to our table sent complimentary dessert because he felt the service wasn’t up to par. They were a little short handed we didn’t notice really. Highly Recommend

    We came for the Harry Potter trivia event. We were seated promptly and excited for the HP themed special menu items. But while our server was friendly and tried to be attentive the food service was abysmal. Everyone waited over 1.5 hours for food to come. We even showed up 45 mins early to the event to eat before and didn’t get our food until closer to one. Every plate delivered had ingredients missing and the food was lukewarm. Then we sat with dirty dishes on the table for close to an hour for the remainder of the event. And no one was prompt in keeping the water cups filled. It was also disappointing that there was no changing station in either bathroom. We had to take the baby out in the rain and back to the car to clean her up. Out of 9 people, no one was interested in returning.

    Brunch on Saturday was amazing! Get the chicken and pickle bites! Our server (maybe Brian?!) was funny and had great timing with our drinks. Chef Johnny never disappoints.

    This was literally the worst meal we have had in a restaurant ever. We took our Towson graduate there for lunch with family. The server was unfriendly, the food horrible. Just gloppy deep fried. And the crab cakes were awful. It tasted like a fish cake. It was such a special day and the restaurant literally ruined it. And it was ridiculously expensive. What a joke of a place!

    James was AMAZING. He had great energy and he was the highlight of our experience. The Old Bay Brown Sugar wings were really good but there were huge sugar cubes in the waffles that made it very hard to enjoy. And in most of the car to get pass. Overall the vibe was not very energetic but again JAMES MADE THE DAY.

    James was our server when we came in for brunch. He was awesome and he teamed up with another server who was also awesome. The manager(?) also came by to check on us. First time at The Point, found it on Open Table, and happy they offer a brunch menu. My bf had the steak & eggs and bay wings as an app; I had a cup of the crab/corn chowder and a chicken/gravy breakfast bowl which. All were delicious. They ran out of creamer so we couldn't have our morning coffee. Otherwise, everything was 99% perfect. More of a college student vibe since it's next to TU, but a nice little spot in the round-about. Make time to find parking. Excellent service... we'd come back!

    Customer service was very poor. The waitress barely spoke to our table or checked on us. The food was okay but there were issues with some of the plates and the waitress was very dismissive. We asked for the manager but he was rude/dismissive as well. The waitress would disappear and be chatting with other people instead of bringing what we asked for. The mimosas were bad. The overall ambience of the place was poor. Seems to be not a good place for minorities. The people may have been racist. Talked to all their white customers and ignored my table.

    We dined at the Bar with 'H' The cocktail menu is delicious. Food was wonderful. We had the crab toast special. Wow. We missed the music but we will go back soon. Priced to become our go to spot.

    Was told this was an amazing spot for brunch, but I beg to differ. First of all there was no set sever for our table, nor did we know any of the servers names due to none of them introducing themselves. Literally no servers came out on the regular to serve their customers including our table. I don’t know if it was because a big drag show was going on in another part of their restaurant, but service sucked. When it was time to get the check I literally had to go to the hostess up front who seats people to tell them we wanted our bill to leave. The bottomless drinks were worth it, but my food was overpriced, not seasoned and super bland. How my bill came out to be 73 dollar baffles me because it was not worth it at all. Alcohol could not save that flavorless food. Save your coin and do not go here for brunch.

    We come to the Point often and this week they had a special Lunar New Year Menu that was absolutely delicious. My husband had the flatbread that was huge and the spicy ramen. I had the chicken dumplings that were so good and the fried rice. I’d highly recommend trying the Lunar menu items.

    Everything was great as always!! Our server, Claire, was fabulous! Food is always amazing, seasonal specials were great!! The specials are always a good thing to look for the chef curates great options!! Drinks are always lovely! Highly recommend the point for brunch and dinner.

    We had reservations @ 12:45pm for two this past Sunday. When we got there, the table wasn't ready and we had to wait between 5 - 10 mins. The waitress was nice, but forgetful. The Hot tea and Coffee were lukewarm and tasted as if they had been sitting in a pot all day. When the food arrived, it too was lukewarm. The atmosphere was okay, it was crowded when we first arrived, but had substantially cleared out by the time we left at around 2pm. We didn't have cocktails, but there are two bar areas so being on a college campus, I guess that's their main thing. What we ordered to eat was just ok (breakfast/brunch food).

    It was my wife’s birthday. The food service was not great. Every one got their food at different times 10 to 30 minutes apart. There was 10 of us and doesn’t seem like they know how to handle large parties. The food was wonderful as always

    We went for Sunday brunch. Food was delicious as always. Breakfast bowls, crab cake sandwich, grilled cheese, crab Benedict, crabby tots and crab dip. All outstanding! Great service. Music was a bit loud as we were seated under speaker (not so loud that we asked to lower it) but otherwise outstanding meal!

    The food was just bad. We saw the menu outside and wanted the Cauliflower appetizer on the menu. When we asked about it, the server said it was taken off the menu. Bummer but we decided to try a few other things: My husband had the scrambled eggs, potatoes and waffle, he ate only the waffle and said it was good, but the rest remained uneaten. He didn't like it. My daughter had the grilled cheese which she liked, she also didn't like her potatoes saying they were greasy. I ordered the ceasar salad, the dressing was a heavy low quality dressing that tasted more like mayonnaise. The description for the salad said it has cherry tomato croutons, what actually came was cherry tomato, croutons. The comma is miss placed. We will not be going back, I do not recommend.
