We had a lovely server..but the food was beyond unsatisfactory. We ordered the seafood chowder which was actually recommended by the server. It was terrible with a few muscles that did not taste fresh and a few pieces of some type of white fish floating in it. Not one scallop, salmon or prawns were present. I could not eat it and sent it back. Server took only one chowder off the bill! The salt & pepper duck wings we had as an appetizer were over cooked and just plain distasteful! We will not returning. We ate in the bar area which has a nice decor and that’s about all! 🙄

We had made a reservation site unseen for the dining room but once we got there, we realize the dining room was super unattractive basically just bare tables no ambience at all so we chose to sit at the high top tables in the bar. The bar is very beautiful and cheerful and high top tables, right at the windows looking out at the the street ambience which was very pleasant. Our hostess, who also turned out to be our server was excellent. She was friendly, attentive, helpful, and efficient. We ordered the potstickers. They were dry and the size of quarters. Barely anything to eat and not worth ordering again. We did however, order the scallops and pork cheek and that was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Aji tuna with vegetables. The Aji tuna was good good… However, the accompanying potatoes and vegetables, etc. that were with it were minuscule and so you will come away hungry if you don’t order something else. We were seeing a show around the corner in two hours and we were a little tight for time as the food did take quite a while to prepare. We needed to rush through our dessert and coffee. The dessert was a small selection of chocolate amuse bushes, and it was delicious. The coffee, a decaf and an espresso were good. We ordered a bottle of wine to go with. It was a Chardonnay coming from the Okanagan Valley. It was very tasty! All in all we were satisfied with our meal. The price we paid out the door was just a bit over $200. . Would we go back? Yes we would order something different for the appetizer and one of the meals.

We had one of the most relaxed and best dinners with friends that we have had in Victoria. All of our dishes were excellent. We will recommend this restaurant to friends and look forward to returning.

Food was a bit cold, came out wrong, and fries were poor. Had a nice drink, good people watching, and good service.

Food was not hot. Two different dishes and both had the exact same vegetables, not very creative at all. For this price point I expected more.

Food was really good and pricing was normal! However service was awful, being a younger group they paid no attention to us and treated us like we were not worth his time
