   Went for Mother’s Day. Service was great. Got sat right away and never had to wait for anything. We had lobster surf and turf and chicken parm. Everything was great.

   Very dissapointed. Our Mother's Day journey into downtown to treat mom to a special lunch was a very expensive dissapointment. For about $130 less, I can get better service at Whataburger, and a better steak at Chili's. As a table of four middle-aged well-dressed Landry-card carrying patrons, we received substandard service from a young man who clearly had better things to be mindful of than serving us. He forgot a salad and had to be reminded after we received the main course, then brought it out late even after it was canceled. Then he poured the last of our wine bottle into my glass alone, leaving three others empty and me embarrassed for taking all the wine. This is seriously amateur wait service. No personality, no engagement, no happy wishes for the two Mother's at our table. In retrospect, I find it insulting and condescending. For a "world famous" restaurant, I feel like I've been ripped off by a tourist trap illusion of "fine dining." Never ever again Palm...

   Mother’s Day doesn’t mean anything to this establishment. Only allowed the dinner menu for lunch. Amy didn’t listen and misrepresented my food selection. Food was fair at best. Not a value for one of the most expensive menu’s in town. Disappointed.

    The food was terrible. We split a large filet and lobster tail. The filet was cut horizontally instead of vertically so we got this thin, overcooked piece of meat. Idk of a steakhouse that cuts steak like that? The creamed spinach showed up halfway through the meal and was soupy. The server ladled it out with a spoon into little bowls. The Caesar salad had so much garlic in it, I tasted it for hours afterward. The service started out ok…but the server disappeared once some of the food arrived. I will not be going back. It was such a disappointment.

    Was a fairly deserted place but was late. Great server Jacob, but food had no taste and they threw out the ice tea before we were done with it.

    Not sure what’s happened in the last couple years but the food wasn’t the greatest. Fish was over cooked & not fresh. Cocktails were good. Service was just alright. For the price I expect a bit better quality all around. Not sure if management or something else has changed in last few years as this has now been a common occurrence.

    What a great impromptu date at a fabulous place. Amy was there to make it a fabulous couple of hours and it was nice to catch up with Adrianne, Tim and Will. What a great team and all in synch. A nice cozy get-away with my fav girl. It cannot get better than that..... another swanky afternoon date at the SA Palm. :-)

    The location is great but that’s the only good thing I can say. Bread was stale and hard - like it had been left on a counter for a few days. Lobster Bisque tasted more like bad crawfish etouffee. Definitely wasn’t fresh, and the soup was so bland and starchy it was more like basic brown gravy. My wife had the veal parmigiana- which tasted like it came from the freezer section at H E B. She had to use a steak knife to cut it and the common theme of the meal was that everything was just plain bland. My Pappardelle Bolognese was equally boring. Someone needs to tell the chef about herbs like oregano, basil, or thyme. This was basically tomato purée over a clump of boxed noodles. I will never go there again.

    We were very disappointed about the quality of the food, the Chilean sea bass wasn’t fresh and it was chewy, the chicken parmigiana was frozen and preheated, hard and the tomato sauce was like if they open and throw a canned sauce, the pappardelle bolognese pasta was flavorless and overcooked so much that I couldn’t rolled it with my fork… I did have more expectations than an overpriced TV dinner… The waitress very was nice!!! Also the tea was good

    Since joining with Landry's Restaurants, the Palm has seen a continuous decline in quality. Size portions have shrunk while the price has increased. It's disappointing -- the "old" Palm was such a wonderful place.

    I have been to the Palm on many occasions. Our food was TERRIBLE. I had veal parmigiana which was thick, tough and tasteless. My wife’s fish was not cooked. I will not be returning. I have to wonder if this is a management/ownership problem, as in the past the place was great.

    Very disappointed with our recent visit to the San Antonio Palm. I live in Fort Worth. We do not have a Palm close to us so we were very excited to be visiting San Antonio and to dine at The Palm. I am a long time fan of The Palm and have dined at almost every one of them across the country. Our dinner began with a caesar salad. Our server warned us that she had received feedback that the crouton was a bit hard that evening. That was an understatement. It was like a rock. I didn't eat it in fear I would lose a tooth. The dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle. Nothing like I remember when I have ordered it in the past. We ordered two 18oz New York strips, cooked medium rare, and the half & half, for our main course. The steaks arrived rare and the half & half was cold. We returned everything. The recooked steaks arrived with one steak medium rare the other, medium well. Manager offered to replace the medium well steak with a new one. The new steak arrived cooked correctly but with a big piece of gristle down the middle of the steak. The new steak also seemed to be closer to a 14oz than the 18oz originally ordered. Half & half was 1/2 the portion size that used to be served. Seems like they also changed the recipe for the onion strings, and not for the better. The best part of the evening was our server, Kimberly. She was great! I read that the Landry's Group acquired the Palm back in 2020. It seems like the changes they have made are not for the better. It's a shame to see an iconic restaurant like The Palm become just another overpriced, underwhelming steakhouse.

    I had a retirement party for a staff member and had 19 attendees. The set up was awesome, the food was top of the line and the service was some of the best I have every received in a high class restaurant. Thank you Alana for making this happen for me and my team!

    He comido en The Palm de Polanco en la Ciudad de México, el cuál está mucho muy superior que el de San Antonio, Tx. La carne se puede decir que bien, nada espectacular, pero bien hasta ahí. El Seabas y el fetuchini a la boloñesa… el salseado sabía a lo mismo. Parecería que hubiera ido a un italianinis o a una cadena bastante regular italiana. Mucho que desear. Y mucho muy caro a comparación de CDMX

    Another great evening. Jeanette was at the top of her game. She made it a great time with her amazing service. Tim showed off his hidden skills as he prepared a carajillo at the table and wowed everyone. He and Will were attentive and made our new guests feel welcomed. Amy started out the evening with her Bar magic..... Andrea kept it going..... great team flow at the bar. We were a large group last night and Jeanette kept the night going. Thanks

    Service was impeccable, martinis were perfect. We had a ribeye and shell steak both cooked exactly to our specifications. Our sides could have been better, we had truffle gnocchi and garlic mashed potatoes both very gummy tasting and kinda stiff.

    We felt bad that the staff was stressed and seemed overwhelmed. It took about an hour after ordering to bring the calamari appetizer and when it did arrive, it was cold, mushy, and the sauce was spilled over its dish. The steaks were good, but not outstanding. The initial serving of the mashed potatoes was in a children’s bowl which they quickly replaced. The mashed potatoes were quite good but the broccolini was rather bitter. The staff was apologetic which I appreciate. Everyone has had a bad day and this was theirs.
