    It’s off-season and there weren’t very many people there, but our waitstaff were attentive, pleasant and professional. The food was very good- hot, flavourful, and for foodie photographers: pretty on the plate. It’s on the second floor of the Fisheries Museum, so kind of like a hidden gem especially for this time of year when one doesn’t have to wait in line to get in!

    We had an excellent dinner and service. A beautiful view of the harbour. I can only assume staff had called in sick and they were short handed on the days that others have complained about the service . The staff were wonderful and attentive. I would highly recommend it. The menu had many options. The clam chowder and smash burger were excellent.

    Food was great and 100% worth the price! Service was fine. It was super busy, which is amazing for them, but I definitely found the wait time for food to be quite long. As long as you’re not in a rush, I think this spot is really worth it :)

     All-around, we had a wonderful evening at the old Fish factory restaurant. The food was very good, especially the lobster dinner. I would go back again.

    First of all, we wanted to sit outside, but sat us at a plastic table/chairs with the umbrella on the ‘outside’ of the seating area. It was 32 degrees outside yesterday…. We ordered, then waited quite some time to be told that they were Out of chowder, then ordered 2 bowls of MOQUECA, which I asked the waitress if spicy.. she said no Then brought out ONE bowl of Mocqueca for me, asked if we required anything else. Yes, we said… a bowl for my husband. She said she thought we were sharing it… Really?… one bowl of soup and one spoon. A good waitress would have taken my bowl of soup back and brought us two bowls at the same time, but no, she left that bowl of soup there and we waited and waited and waited for my husband’s soup Of course I wasn’t going to eat without him This was our 48th wedding anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere where the food was good and we could sit out by the water We were so disappointed, we will never go back to the fish factory again And by the way, the Mocqueca was indeed ‘ver’ spicy.
