   it was absolutely delicious! We felt everything on the menu, and the Buffet was some of the best we had ever had. We will definitely return to the restaurant for a meal when we visit the area. It is definitely worth a visit to stay and to dine.

   We enjoyed our evening immensely. The food was wonderful. The ambience was elegant with white tablecloths, a beautiful view and a piano playing in the background. Terrific service. So glad to have another amazing restaurant in our area.

   From the minute we entered, we were treated like royalty. I took my mom to dinner for Mother’s Day. She is an artist and especially enjoyed seeing art by her friends on display. The service and food were great. We even asked for and received a tour of one of the rooms. I will definitely be back. I told my sister about the spa and she is excited to know it is there and plans to go the next time she visits mom. Thank you for a great evening and treat for mom on Mother’s Day weekend.

   Beautiful place, scenic views, nice varied menu, friendly attentive service. Only reason not 5 stars is bar service was slow. Appetizers arrived quickly - before cocktails were ready and same happened during meal.

    This is an excellent restaurant. So glad we tried it. The food is delicious , price is reasonable , view is exceptional and our waitress was friendly , helpful and competent . Comfortable, relaxing and good food. What a joy!

    It was blessing of fleet morning/day. Cedar room should serve brunch. For sure you have to provide breakfast for your guest?? Brunch would increase your customer numbers. Only sandwiches, makes the experience a pub. Not a nice restaurant. Our meal : shrimp were so tough, over cooked. This should never happen! Darien is a shrimp capital. No shells plate. Salad-nicoise was prepared days ahead. Not fresh tasting. Coffee not ready at 11am, had to wait 45 mins to receive. Okra,tomato,rice side was dry. Chicken was all batter , no meat. No salt/pepper on any tables. Asked for never got. Table next to us knew waitress , sat down 20 mins after us, got orders, meal delivered and much attention vs. us who were first patrons in restaurant. I want to see Darien prosper. If you want to charge and keep a high end feel, step it up.

    Had a great happy hour menu at the bar! The blues and bites and deviled eggs were amazing!! Then we had dinner with a view! The short ribs were excellent!! A favorite of ours just wish it was closer to SSI but the drive over is beautiful 😍 🥰👍

    They greeted us by our names with a smile. Had a wonderful table by the window and could see the river. We had fantastic cocktails and they let us take our time and order appetizers and drinks.. then after a relaxing cocktail we ordered our meal. It was our anniversary and it was very special night! The dinner was wonderful. Our server was so sweet( Sarah). Was very happy with everything and will be going back soon.

    Service and staff were amazing. The place is definitely beautiful and somewhere we would like to go to again. However, the food was not worth $70 pp. the prime rib was tough and cold, the lamb was dry (and cold) although it was saturated in gravy. The omelette bar was amazingly delicious. Fresh, hot and made to order is a better way to go. After all that, they had all these beautiful tiny desserts, they were delicious. Couldn’t even take a few home.. I get it, buffet, no to gos but for $70pp, come on. We will definitely be back to try the restaurant though. We like to support local and always give places 2nd and 3rd chances.

    What a beautiful setting! We first went to the bar for a drink and sat overlooking the River. It was such a nice way to relax. The bar is very nice and not too busy. The service was a little slow. Dinner was at table 44 - the best 2 seater in the house overlooking the River. Fantastic! The waiter was very attentive and not stuffy - the food was very good. My only complaint is that the lights are way too bright for fine night time dining. But, they are new and still working out the kinks! This place is not to be missed!

    Love this place. The ambiance is wonderful from the time you step in the front door. Sitting on the water and seeing occasional boats go by while enjoying a drink and then wonderful food and service with fantastic waitresses just makes for a memorable date night

    Great ambiance and the menu / selections were very appropriate. There is a local happy hour crowd that seem to be regular patrons but that only adds to the local flavor. Definitely enjoy this hotel.

    Very nice dining room, comfortable seating etc. food was all very good. The issue My wife and I had was that our salads and entree’ were brought at the same time. To me that is fine dining 101- otherwise, our experience was great. Steak was cooked correct temp, veggies were great. Wine list leaves a little to be desired- but still better than anywhere else in the immediate area. I would be back and would tell others.

    This restaurant is in a beautiful new hotel in Darien Georgia. It overlooks the adjacent waterfront. As far as the atmosphere it’s probably the best McIntosh County has to offer. The food was above average and reasonably priced. Where we found this restaurant lacking was in their service. The server was not familiar with the menu and had a bit of an attitude. One member of our party took over an hour to receive their entree. The remainder of the party had already finished their dinner. We inquired about desserts and were given three options. One of those options was a banana pudding, which one person ordered. What was delivered was bread pudding. They don’t have banana pudding on the menu. Our hope is that this was a one off experience with a new server. We plan on trying this location again as it does have an upscale atmosphere compared to most in McIntosh County.

    Atmosphere/location are great. Food service is friendly/polite but very slow (not sure if this is deliberate or not). Food is above average, not convinced it lives up to the prices. Requiring cc info to make reservations is a bit annoying. We dine out regularly - definitely worth a try if you are getting tired of the options found on SSI and downtown Brunswick.

    Just went for an overnight getaway. The atmosphere and view was very nice, but the food was amazing. We started out the the Georgia shrimp appetizer and ended with the cheesecake. Everything In between was delicious! We would definitely return next time we are in the area.

    This place is new and so I definitely recommend going because we could have just experienced an off day. We went for a wine tasting (not held in the restaurant) that was great and decided to stay for dinner afterward. It was 7:30 on a Thursday night. The server (yes, singular) was great. The hostess was friendly. The bartender was otherwise occupied so our drinks - a glass of wine and a vodka soda - too almost 30 minutes to get. They did arrive just in time for our food. The menu looks really good and offers new and different items than the standard local fare. The short ribs were tasty. I do not recommend the chicken. While the flavor was there, it was overcooked and dry. The experience was a little disappointing for a new place. Understanding that help is hard to come by and new places have kinks to work out, it's obvious that an owner isn't present and that 'ownership' hasn't been transferred to the staff. I look forward to trying it again in the future and hoping for a better experience.
