Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners.     Food was excellent we had the double cheese burger and chicken with mashed potatoes! Both excellent. Then we moved onto dessert and that was amazing! The peanut butter pie and strawberry olive oil cake was a must if you can fit dessert into your bellies!

    We loved every bit of our experience - from the service, to the drinks, to the food, to the ambiance. Drinks were not too sweet. Portions were perfect. Server was prompt, knowledgeable, and kind. Easily our favorite place during our weekend in Nashville.

    Lovely! Food was delicious. Sat on the porch and the views of surrounding construction were not so pretty. Probably would have preferred an indoor table. Really enjoyed the playlist, too! Our server, Santiago, was attentive and delightful.

    Very different menu the burger was awesome…the caffeine me was special but other drinks were just okay. No view so realize you are going for a quieter meal experience than most in the area.

    Great little spot. Food was very good! The burger best I’ve ever had the table shared most of the food and we even ordered another burger it was so good. Drinks were good too!

    My friend and I came here for dinner and loved it! I got the double cheeseburger and it was SO GOOD! My friend got the fried chicken dish and she loved it as well. We got the punchin’ bags for drinks which were so fun! Definitely will be back 😊

    Not busy when we arrived. The host was very friendly and we were seated right away. Our server was quick and very personable. Drinks and appetizers came to the table right away. Bratwurst corn dog was very good. The entrees came very quickly. We had just barely started on the bratwurst. Felt a little rushed as only about a dozen others were dining. Bulgogi hanger steak was very good. The potato latke waffle was almost burnt. The fried chicken thighs with chorizo gravy was good, but the chicken was slightly over cooked and the breading was also very dark brown. Maybe the fryer was running hot?.. either way they were served so quickly it seemed like they were in a hurry. Nutternanner pie was great. Music seemed nice at first..not too loud...not so much by the end of our meal. It was hard to have a conversation. Overall it was nice dining experience.

    I enjoyed brunch at The Mockingbird. Our server Bart was great! I ordered the Mockingburger with bacon and it was delicious. Definitely would return on my next visit.

    Ambiance great, it can get quite loud to where you gave to be loud yourself to be heard. Quite overpriced & the food was just ok. I had the plate w steak, fried egg & waffle. Fresh, yes, flavors, meh. Waffle & egg had no flavor. Beverages list was fair. If I were to go back it’d be for the Brie appetizer. Now THAT knocked our socks off but def not worth $250 (incl tip) for 3 ppl.

    Great food. Knowledgeable server. Only problem was server asked me if I wanted a cube or rocks in my whiskey. I ordered cube. It came with rocks. I didn’t complain. Bill came. They up charge for the cube. I didn’t complain. But not good. Also a problem with another friend bill. Also they require business casual. We came accordingly. Other younger parties seated in tank tops, bad shorts etc. Clean up your website or enforce it. Also the parking sucks.

    Loved the ambiance and the food. Had a great table and was thinking it was going to be a super enjoyable experience until a family with a child in a stroller was seated across from us. Not the restaurants' fault but, the child's only way of communicating with his caretakers was a very high-pitched scream. This came out of nowhere and alarmed us every time it happened, which was a minimum of no less than 10 times. The adults with the child just laughed a sorry in our direction and at no point in time bothered to take the child out of the restaurant to keep from disturbing the rest of the diners in the restaurant. I understand that this is not the restaurants' fault, but other diners should take note. We did notice that when the table was sat, they advised the server that this was not their first-time dining in the restaurant. Knowing that, if the child has been with the group in the past they should have been sit somewhere as to not disturb the other patrons. I've raised 3 boys and helped to raise 2 grandsons, had any of them screamed like this child was screaming, they would have been immediately removed from the restaurant until they could have calmed down or our party would have left. Very inconsiderate on the part of the parents/grandparents of this child. Do better people and let others enjoy a nice night out!! Thanks!

    Great food and drinks, and awesome service to my 2 young kids! They serve kids meals with the plastic forks/spoons you’d have at home and it was so refreshing to have a nice restaurant experience including kiddos.

    Really enjoyed the Mockingbird. Everything on the menu looked amazing- it was hard to choose. Well crafted, thoughtful dishes and our party of 4 all loved the food. Friendly and knowledgeable service, reasonable price point for a decent downtown meal- we would definitely go again!

    Well...this was a big meh for us. Came for a Sunday brunch, and was very underwhelmed. Ordered some giant taco dish that was basically a bunch of chorizo tossed into a semi stale flour tortilla with some cheese and a little green salsa on top. Dried out and uninspired. We also had the vegan burrito, this was a little better but honestly, just ok. The best thing we had was the bloody mary mix, that was darn good. A fluffed up egg white take on a margarita was also kind of mediocre. Every Sean Brock restaurant seems to be overhyped to us...sometimes I wonder if Nashville's food emperor is wearing any clothes. Not recommended.

    We were visiting Nashville from Chattanooga. Love the locally owned spots in Chattanooga and wanted to try something like that in Nashville. This place did NOT disappoint! The service was great, with great suggestions for us based on taste and dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Drinks were also good with creative twists on some favorites. Will definitely go back when we're in Nashville again, and will enthusiastically recommend it to friends. Great spot! Loved it!

    I ordered the brioche French toast with crumble bacon. When the entrée came out, syrup was already poured on the toast. I am a diabetic and I wasn’t able to ask for sugar-free syrup. I later ordered eggs with cheese and I ask for pepper. The pepper came out in a little plastic container. No salt and pepper shakers on the table. I later went to the females bathroom. There are no hooks available for coats or purses. In the females bathroom. Also, there was no hot coffee available.

    Santiago was amazing as a server and the whole house front to back was super attentive! We were here w/huge recommendations from NY friends and we were not disappointed! Loved our conversation about running and Bakersfield and just Nashville in general! He really made us feel like we were the only ones there! Will definite back! 10 thumbs up! ♥️

    My wife and I celebrated our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary at Mockingbird and every moment was memorable. The mockingbird is somewhere that has become special in our relationship. 1st Valentines Day there. 1 year Anniversary of dating. Celebrating new jobs and promotions. It’s a part of our personal history and we couldn’t be happier with it every time we go period. They had champagne waiting for us before we even got there and a custom made pastry just for dessert for us that tasted like it was made from a piece of heaven. The pork belly appetizer is by far the BEST appetizer my wife and I have ever had. The Seoul purpose rejuvenated my soul. And the pasta with Italian sausage tasted as if it was cut minutes before being made into such a wonderful dish. It’s always a pleasure being treated so well there and we will always come back.

    My husband and I were extremely unimpressed with the food. We both felt sick after eating there. While server was attentive, she seemed to be rushing us to get out. Would not recommend or revisit.

    I really enjoyed The Mockingbird. The food was great, the ambience was beautiful, and the service was incredible. Our server was always so attentive, and the management was so kind in helping to celebrate my birthday with personal touches. I would definitely go back.     The parking is not convenient and you are charged $29 to park in the lot next to the restaurant. The restaurant should inform you of places you have available besides the rip-off of the parking lot. Seems strange that the few parking spaces next to the restaurant are reserved for employees and GM. You should really do something to help the customers. You have a great little restaurant with great food and waiters. The costly parking needs attention.
