Manor Tavern is a nice restaurant. The menu hasn't changed much in the past 2 years - it could use an update. Ambiance is nice. Prices seemed high this time but I guess that's all over.

A perfect place to meet a friend, gossip with few interruptions and enjoy great food. I appreciated the fact that we could talk without shouting to each-other. The staff never rushed us out even though we lingered over coffee and great desserts. Yes, get the dessert!☺️

Kudos to our server, Lee. We were a party of 8. Service was prompt, his recommendations spot on and he was very patient with a group of old friends who lingered while catching up. The food was excellent, as it has been the last few times we've been there. One of our favorite places to dine...never disappoints!

Our go-to restaurant whenever visiting nearby Ladew Topiary Gardens. Usually for lunch but, this time, for Sunday brunch. It was excellent. Both the quiche and french toast were yummy. As was the French Onion soup. One of the things we really like about TMT is its ambience...quiet and homey. Finally, a shout-out to Peter, our enthusiastic waiter. Very attentive without being overly intrusive, we enjoyed our conversation with him.

Oh geez, what dish to begin with b/c what I had, was bland and mediocre at best. The clams and mussels appetizer was lacking flavor. The burnt sliver of bread served with it was just sad. Garlic and fresh herbs were certainly needed to the dish. Ugh, the truffle fries were gross. Quite sure they were frozen, bottom of the bag pieces, that were drenched in truffle oil. Blech! I was confused how a cob salad could be so flat and one note. The 1 piece of fried chicken tender was dry and over “fried.” There was bacon but you couldn’t taste it. The ranch dressing tasted premixed from a packet. We had a good time despite the disappointment with our food. Our server was great tho

First time dining at The Manor Tavern. Beautiful dining room...The Saddle Room. Great food. The duck and the crab soup are best anywhere. Excellent, personable, and attentive service (Dee). A great place to take special people for dinner no matter what the occasion. We'll be going back often.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Manor Tavern and had a wonderful time. The service was outstanding, the food was amazing .. it made for a wonderful night. It was a bit louder than I had expected but that did not ruin the evening. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I went to the restaurant to celebrate Valentines Day this weekend. We were thrilled with the food. Everything I had, including the crab dip, gumbo, chicken pot, and canoli cake were all amazing. And I had enough to take home for a second meal. The atmosphere was serene and there was minimal noise. We plan to go back again.

Had an enjoyable weekday lunch at The Manor Tavern. The dining room has a warm and relaxed feel, and our meals were excellent. Louisiana Gumbo had a mild spicy flavor. We also enjoyed the Salmon BLT and the French Dip. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely make a return visit soon.

The food was great, helped also by the half price bottles of wine for Wednesdays! We tried a new wine (Silver Oak Alexander Valley), which was excellent. Had crispy brussels sprouts and mozzarella & garlic shrimp for appetizers and the gnocchi and salmon for dinner, followed by the flourless chocolate cake with cinnamon ice cream. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent, with great recommendations and a beautiful smile throughout. One small suggestion, the entrees came out before we finished our appetizers - that should be paced better. Also once they brought the check, we were never served water again. We still had some wine left in the bottle, and would have preferred to sit a little longer but felt rushed.

The entrees were good but the service was slow and somewhat negligent. We were never asked if we wanted to order a second drink or glass of wine. Bread that was requested was never brought. My dessert was underbaked and mushy. We have been to Manor Tavern before and had good experiences, this was an outlier, but a disappointment nonetheless.

This place used to have great food . Not anymore . Not to much on menu for vegetarians . All the good wait staff assistant managers are all gone . We used to know everyone now only 2 wait staff . Sad ! Used to be fun but not anymore

I had the perfect birthday spending it with wonderful friends and having my favorite halibut for dinner as well as the chocolate seduction cake. Thank you so much for putting halibut on the regular menu. You will definitely be seeing us more often especially when we move to just up the street in the spring. Mike always loves his burger with blue cheese crumbles but also looks forward to his favorite New York Strip whenever you have it on the specials' menu. Our friends also loved the halibut as well as the chicken pot pie. Everything was delicious.

We have be guests at the Manor Tavern for over 30 years. We will continue to be guests. That said, our Christmas Eve visit was dreadful. I was told weeks prior that the only available time was 2:45 PM. When we arrived we were the only people in the restaurant we were seated in the saddle room. And then found out that the specials that were on the website and my husband is really looking forward to the rock fish with lentils. There’s none available because it was lunchtime. Our server was fine. However the only things we were at work crab soup Pardoning cream of crab soup and the jambalaya. My crab soup was served very cold to the point that it had gelled on top and my husbands jambalaya had no seafood in it although he did say it tasted good. When we left the restaurant was still mostly empty. We were so looking forward to the menu that was advertised and we’re extremely disappointed that we had to deal with the usual lunch menu. I even asked for a crabcake platter and the server said oh that’s only during dinner we can’t do that for lunch. That was extremely disappointing. I would suggest that anyone who plans on going there for Christmas Eve in the future call and ask if you can get the specials or is it just the basic lunch menu.

Table was not cleared of appetizer dishes prior to serving our main course. Being asked if I am my 16-year old daughter’s grandfather (I am 55) was just a plus. Lol. Of course, I followed up by asking the waitress how many months pregnant she is. Even funnier.
