Service was great; everyone was really nice there; chicken & waffles = excellent!
The majority of the experience was amazing, the only thing I had an issue with was with the hostess, she forgot we were there after we checked in and we had to go back and remind her 20 min later that we were still waiting and that she had sat some people ahead of us that had gotten there after us. Once we were seated and were able to enjoy the moment things definitely ran smoother. The food , the wait staff and the ambiance were amazing! Definitely will return.
Amazing meal and service, very creative and well crafted dishes and excellent wine pairings. Able to accommodate gluten free/celiac diet well.
Great food and service. What you expect for a place of this price range. Went on a Friday night at 7 so it was pretty noisy.
Jana was amazing!
Great neighborhood gem! Hip atmosphere with an inventive menu. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed few dishes we picked - halibut was great and scallops. It was disappointing that we were served chefs amuse bouche and one of us literally burned the mouth as no warning was given that it would be scolding hot. The AC on the perimeter of the room is quite annoying - so if you like more cozy warm environment you maybe better off in the middle tables or outside where you have heaters.
Having said that it was nice to be surprised by a birthday cake and the manager was nice and apologized for an experience earlier.
A friend and I attended "The Love" for a special birthday celebration. The waitress was punctual with taking our order. The food took some time, but it was a birthday celebration so we were not planning to rush out. Both our orders were delicious - we both commented that we would order that item on a future trip. We did order a dessert to share but the waitress also brought out a little special dessert with a candle for my friend.
My wife and I went for our anniversary. Incredible food, incredible service and lovely atmosphere. This is definitely a visit again and again restaurant. I would and will highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Would highly recommend this restaurant. The atomosphere is lovely . The service was excellent. The food was outstanding. Such an array of flavors in every dish. A special thanks to their amazing chef. Can’t wait to go back.
We had a very nice table in the second floor for our brunch. Our server was attentive and friendly. I would have given the LOVE 5’s across the board except that they really don’t have a lot to accommodate a GF diet. They could fairly easily provide more options. GF bread would make a huge difference as well as fewer cross contaminated items (like their potatoes which serve as an accompaniment on many dishes). Overall, very nice.
What a won
this place is great. Get the cheese plate and fried chicken.
3rd Anniversary! Perfect dinner! Amazing suggestions by the waitress, and fantastic food
Interesting menu. Great food. Professional, friendly service. We ate on the early side and it was quiet but by the time we left it was hopping and the floor manager checked in to make sure everything was good. It was!
Our 1st time at The Love was such a surprise! New to Philly we were looking for a yummy brunch . It met all of our expectations.
Brian was an amazing addition to our experience. He was extremely helpful with the menu, cocktail menu as well and his energy and smile truly enhanced our brunch .
We started with the fig and goat cheese app ... it was simply delicious!
Our main breakfast dishes were so on point. Roasted potatoes were moist & flavorful
Desserts were terrific. Quite an assortment of mouth watering treats
The Love truly is a diamond in Rittenhouse. We will be back as we travel back & forth from NYC
Thank you Brian for such an enjoyable time!
Was in town for a wedding and happened to be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. Was very impressed with the space, the food and the service. Staff was very attentive. They didn’t miss a thing and never had to wait for them. We highly recommend it.
Food was wonderful; service excellent. A little bit loud, but that may just have been a function of a few very enthusiastic tables around us. :-) Highly recommend...
Atmosphere is loud but food is great and cocktails were refreshing
The atmosphere was lovely along with service. Noise level was extremely loud. Could even hear the four people at our table. And the menu is hard to read. Different sized font
This restaurant provides an amazing variety in both appetizers and entrees. Service is friendly, extremely competent and provides a balance to provide a comfortable meal without an unnecessary rush on the dining party.
Food is far above average in taste, preparation and delivery. Lastly, the environment is extremely comfortable and both casual & elegant in terms of atmosphere.
I ordered the drop biscuits with the maple cayenne butter, a cherry lavender soda, and the burger for lunch. I wasn't disappointed! The biscuits were warm and soft, and the butter complemented them well. The soda was a really nice touch. The burger was awesome! The bun was seasoned just right as well. It goes without saying that the staff was nice, courteous, and professional. All in all, the whole lunch meal was on point, and I'll definitely be back!
The food was truly outstanding. A great environment, albeit a bit on the loud side. A must try in Philly for the food!
Birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic from the service to the food to the ambiance! Will definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a special date night.
Excellent service and delicious food. Third time visiting and it’s great each time.
Always a delicious meal !!! Best Halibut I ever ate !! Service was wonderful. Very attentive but not obtrusive. Looking forward to going back.
Food was outstanding and the drinks were great!! The bartender was less than friendly and our server was less than inspired but overall a goo experience
Upscale casual with excellent food and service. Not necessarily meant to be a family-friendly establishment but very welcoming and accommodating to a baby and stroller.
I wanted to love this place (ha), but I just didn't. Drinks were admittedly delish and the service was friendly, but our salads were wilted and the turkey on the turkey melt tasted fatty. Definitely not worth the $$$.
We went to the Love for our anniversary and ate outside. The drinks we ordered were excellent and the food we delicious. We split the fig Caesar salad which they served in separate bowls for us. It was uniquely tasty and the portions were generous. We both got fish entrees which were exceptionally good as well. We didn’t get dessert but our waitress brought us complimentary cookies with “happy anniversary” written on the plate in chocolate which we appreciated.
We loved The Love. Servers spot on; attentive and with some perspective to share on the menu but not pushing any one thing. Seasoning of all plates was spot on. Smoked whole branzino was amazing...FYI, not overly smoked, it was rather just the right amount. I will be back just for the fish!
Great food and atmosphere
Wow, what can I say, we had a beautiful server named Andrea- her skills a waitress is incredible, she was Amazing....and "Oh the food was also incredible"
We had an amazing dinner with a tremendous server! Will definitely recommend to friends in the city!
Food was great, but the suggested portions were off. We ended up with way to much food, wasting 1/2 of 2 entrees and 1/2 of appetizers ordered.
Loved the personalized attention.
Loved it so much, can’t wait to go back. Had the salmon skewers on quinoa.
It was amazing! Absolutely loved it. My waitress was so sweet and thoughtful! Food was perfect. Service great. Def will go back!!
Service was great, décor/ambiance was cute and cozy, food was average at best. Quirky menu that won't satisfy all palates.
