Family-friendly restaurant, lounge and bar offering a wide range of food from burgers and steaks to salads and fish dishes. The Loft turns into a late lounge on Saturday evenings with background music and Guest DJ every first Saturday of the month Party Night.

The perfect destination to celebrate birthdays, hen nights, anniversaries or quite simply "a good night out"!
The Loft also specialises in Wedding receptions, prom nights, corporate entertaining and all kinds of celebration in a fun lively environment. Also available for Funeral Wakes / receptions during the day.

Available for private hire 7 days a week, entire venue or part venue hire available.

Upstairs, Marion’s Lounge is a private exclusive balcony Lounge decorated lavishly with comfortable soft chairs, sofas and moody low lighting. It is available for private hire within the Loft a perfect location for that special gathering or celebration.

Amazing steak night, cooked to perfection & included mushroom, chips, peas, a sauce of your choice & a bottle of wine. Top area near the bar is dog friendly which is a bonus. Excellent service, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely go again.

The Loft is the perfect restaurant in Central Somerset. Every time we visit the standards and food are spot on so much so that now we don’t go anywhere else. We would highly recommend a visit to experience one of the best venues around with attentive staff good food a well sticked bar and relaxed atmosphere

Excellent food, I cannot think of a single thing to have a moan about! I have to admit we do the whetherspoons thing usually,but a date night spent at the loft has certainly changed my perspective! I will definitely be returning, great food, great service, great atmosphere! 10/10. Please try it, you wont be disappointed.

The Loft’s popularity on a steak night became apparent to us when we met a number of our friends there who go regularly. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The bar tender was engaging and delightful ensuring a throughly welcoming atmosphere as you walked in. We immediately tried to book another table so that we could impress our friends on the 29th July. But unfortunately, it clashed with the chef’s holiday resulting in the Loft being closed for a week.

As always Mark was the most welcoming host. The food is always good quality, especially the steaks and the service too. There was one small issue with one of the desserts which Mark was happy to compensate at the checkout. Accidentally left half a bottle of red wine on the table! Gutted! 🤧😂
