The Lobster Club
Service was just okay, would much rather go to nobu... over priced
Exceptional food and service in a beautifully decorated, welcoming space. The Japanese whiskey program is enviable and we had lots of help navigating the various choices. We felt like the only guests in the space during our meal, despite it being a Saturday night!
Everything was perfect. All the food was on point, and the customer service was awesome. The place is very lowkey is which I love the most about it
Very good food & good service!
Good food , great service, slightly over priced
After my husband emailed with them several times, they forgot my birthday and gave us a sub par table. The food is good and atmosphere is fun.
Disorganized waitstaff. Some extra spicy may came to the table as we where finishing.
All the restaurants affiliated, Every time I Go its the greatest expierience..
Wonderful experience. Food and ambiance were amazing. Only comment is drinks were ok
I fell in love the moment I arrived ; I had been a frequent client of the Brassiere so I was very intrigued to see what could be done to re interpret this legendary space .
In Peter Marino ‘ s hand and the amazing chef .. excellence!!
The wait staff was handsome and very professional!!
We are foodies and we’re duly impressed:
I entertain my VIP clients often and it will be on my list .
Wishing you great success!!
Overall it was great.
We dined at the Lobster Club after a Broadway show and the evening was perfect in every way. Upon arrival the facade of the restaurant is dark and mysterious, however once you enter you’re greeted by a dining room of pastel colors. The staff were attentive and offered impeccable customer service whilst the food took you on a journey. We loved the experience in every way.
This is a fun, cool place. Great place for small plates and sharing. Depending on how you order, it can get pricey but it is Very Good.
I’ve been coming here a lot and I like to bring friends and clients. The food is always great, but on this last visit with some colleagues our server was so rushed to clear the table that he was taking my plates as I was putting food into my mouth! This was particularly frustrating because I’ve been here multiple times and always praised the food AND service to people I refer this restaurant to. Not to mention that it is common curtesy to let your guests finish eating and not take the plate under them, professional training is not required for this. Come here for their food, and pray that you get one of the better servers.
Lobster Club was Amazing, my clients enjoyed everything about it,...
It's a great party whether you're three, six or eight. The servers are upbeat and helpful. The food is varied and delicious. The cocktails are excellent. The decor is fun. The whole vibe is one of fun. It's a great place to celebrate.
This was my first time at the lobster club, and I will definitely be back! So impressed by the quality, presentation and taste of the food, along with the stellar service. Thanks for a great evening.
Lovely restaurant! Food was amazing and the staff was wonderful.
Funny how karma works. 9 months ago this was the hottest place in town. Couldn’t get in without planning well in advance. I went and liked the food and service but haven’t been back until now. Went this week (Jan 2019) and it’s empty. It’s a Tuesday, but still. Food is good, service is good, space is cool. So why I wonder? Well, when I went previously we had a 7:30 (I think) reservation. They’re running a bit late. Half an hour later asked the hostess when we could expect to be seated and she pointed to a banquette and said “they’re cleaning your table right now should just be a few minutes”. Great. But. A big shot walks in, 60 year old alpha male, $4,000 suit and two twenty something girls in tow. They proceed to be seated immediately, at, wait for it, MY table. Asked the hostess what up and she said that she made a mistake that it was not in fact our table after all but we should be seated in a few minutes. Which we were. I understand treating big shots well and I understand sometimes you’re running a bit late. But it wasn’t right so I didn’t go back until now. And, a friend of mine had a similar experience. You have to treat people right, because the big shot’s money isn’t any better than mine and you actually never know who’s going to turn into the regular. Or not.
Fantastic restaurant with world class decor. Excellent service, incredible menu. Pricey, but a perfect date restaurant. And, you must try the dessert their dessert that is beyond description: it's a flavored shaved ice concoction with Mascarpone cheese and some other sweet ingredients that is perfect for sharing.
Incredible food, ambience, music and great service.
Fabulous restaurant. Beautiful decor. Great vibe- not stuffy but not too clubby. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Amazing service with warmth and elegance. Super pricey but it’s a special place and not for every day. Highly recommend for a fabulous experience.
Everything was excellent but it is not good value. 225 for 2 for lunch is over the top when no drinks were included
Great ambiance. Great food.
It was great
The place was freezing inside.
Excellent food. All had Lobster Club lunch- delicious - and decent portion for lunch.
The lobster club is great, however the hostess at the front could be much more friendly.
I was celebrating my wife birthday, overall we had a great experience. The only let down was that the food was good and I was expecting great.
Yummy but pricey. Always enjoy coming here snd service is always excellent
Overall experience was good.
Food is pricey and the portion size on the smaller size for the cost, but the quality is top notch.
This was my first visit to The Lobster Club since the re-branding - well done by Major Food Group ("MFG")!
Stylishly designed, well-lit with ample room between tables - it was easy to hold a business conversation.
In the Seagram Building's basement ... Lobster Club is convenient for business breakfast and lunch.
The service was good and the food was delicious ... while it is not "cheap", you get a lot for your dollar.
The Lobster Club has none of the precious attitude that diminishes the experience at some MFG locations.
This is a good meal, with good service, in fun space, in a convenient location ... all at high but fair prices.
The service and food is impeccable!
We were recommended to this restaurant for the whole grilled lobster and we looked at the menu on Open Table and read that the lobster was $79. When we were at the restaurant the lobster was MP (market price) but we did not ask the price as we relied upon the menu on Open Table. When we got the bill we saw that the lobster was $135 and this was a shock. Everyone should be warned that they must ask the price of everything before ordering. Except for that item everything was delicious including the lobster dumplings and the terriyaki salmon. We will return to the restaurant as it is a beautiful environment but we will forego ordering the lobster.
Not many choices for rolls and hand rolls ,too spicy ,expensive ,mojito not the best.
The place is beautiful service amazing
Food was excellent as always and I love the lunch bento boxes. Service is always very attentive; however, each time i come for lunch, and we order an appetizer, all the food comes out at once which makes you feel like they are trying to rush you out. Otherwise, it’s a great experience and food.
Food, drink and music are great. Went for the A5 beef and it was good initially but served on a cold plate, After a few minutes the beef became cold and wasn't as flavorful in my opinion. Having a warm plate would have kept the meat warm and allowed us to truly enjoy the experience.
