The Lobster Club
Family friends in town
Friendly staff, nice ambiance, excellent food wonderful evening with the family.
Never visited The Lobster Club, very positive experience. Will be back. Super food and very good service.
Great place, amazing food and awesome service. It is a little pricey so best for those special occasions.
The noise/"music" level was so bad that it overwhelmed what would otherwise have been a lovely evening. Everyone including us had to shout at each other to be heard. We asked our server if anything could be done but were essentially ignored. It was really intolerable. The food and ambiance was fine.
They seemed to have a big and popular bar scene and perhaps that's what they are aiming for.
The food is the worst...
Every thing I ordered was weird taste.
I’d like to not to say this is Japanese food.
It’s too bad because the service was good.
Very fresh fish. The uni tasting was incredible. Hard to find that variety with that freshness. Great service and ambiance. Love the setting. Will go back!
All of the above
A very good place especially for lunch; the quality of the food and friendly service are the main points to come to Lobster Club again; the portions are big enough; even to share; a bit on the expensive side but ok. 3 people with 1 beer we’ve paid $ 350 including tip...
Food was outstanding. I was surprised at how pricey the sake menu was. Food pricey too, but delicious.
Food was good but given the price it should have been a tad more exotic. Side orders are basic and the main dishes we observed (skirt steak, prawns, etc.) seemed to not have any surprises or special preparation to them to set them above any other restaurant. The service was excellent as well as the ambiance and the music was very appeasing to a couple like us who love classic R&B and smooth jams.
Would we return, yes, but more so for drinks and small bits.
Food was exceptional. Serving sizes not big for the price so great for a birthday but not for everyday dining. Will keep coming back. The lobster dumplings, snapper, sea bass, surf and turf sushi all delicious.
Great to have a creative hip place on the upper east side!
walking down the steps into 80’s music (not too loud) and the decor, was perfect to start off my evening. Service all impeccable, starting with the hostess, bartender and the wait staff. We had Wok Lobster, Lobster Dumpling and my favorite Waisabi Lobster.
Then for main course shared the rib eye steak. No sides, and this all was perfect for two people. Overall great experience
Food was very good. Ambiance and service spectacular. Love it for a great evening w friends.
Food was disappointing, service fair and the restaurant was too loud to have a comfortable conversation.
Food was excellent. Our server seemed a bit aloof. All the rest of the service staff were outstanding ding. One tip - it’s way too loud in the restaurant to have music blaring as loud as it was. It was difficult to hear the person next to you.
Beautiful restaurant but the food was horrible. Everything was very very salty. I don’t mind paying as long as the food is good. This food was way overpriced for what you get.
OMG! AMAZING! It’s been a while where a restaurant WOWed me. This place is amazing! The food was mind blowing and the ambiance was super chic! Amazing design and decor. Cocktails were Delicious!! Perfect place for a date night, girls night & birthday celebration. Highly recommend!! Family friendly as well. My new fav place.
Fun fun place. Expensive. New servers need some training
This was the only Asian restaurant I've been to that didn't smell like the good food it serves. Good, innovative flavors in many of the dishes, but I found that the flavors tend to overpower the natural flavors of the fish in their sushi/sashimi. For dinner for 3, we ordered yellowtail poke, a few rolls, ume rice, bass, and a couple of desserts, all to share. The flavors were unique, but please know when to try to be inventive and leave my sushi alone. Also the portions were so small, I had to have a cup of yogurt when I got home. To top it off, while our waiter was accommodating, the reception was not commensurate with the price you would pay here. Not even a thank you when we were leaving. Beers are 22 bucks. I've had better food and better service for less in same section of NYC. No, thanks.
Our third time dining here, have recommended to a number of my friends who have also enjoyed, we’ll all be back! Well done
I went for breakfast the other day and the place was outstanding, I can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is very cool and the service was superb, the food was absolutely delicious. If you need a cool delicious spot in midtown you MUST go to the Lobster Club!
Awesome food as always and outstanding service and staff.
Service and food always five star here! Great spot for a quiet business breakfast suitable for discreet conversation.
Food was delicious. Service was a bit disjointed at first. Server didn't take our order for a long time until we requested him. Service got better after.
Pricey but well worth the expense. Highly recommend for dinner or after work drinks.
Way overpriced for quality of food. The food was just okay. They were also out of a several dishes and several whiskeys...at that price point you don’t run out of anything. I’m not going back.
Food is outstanding along with exceptional knowledgeable service.
Service was just okay, would much rather go to nobu... over priced
Exceptional food and service in a beautifully decorated, welcoming space. The Japanese whiskey program is enviable and we had lots of help navigating the various choices. We felt like the only guests in the space during our meal, despite it being a Saturday night!
Everything was perfect. All the food was on point, and the customer service was awesome. The place is very lowkey is which I love the most about it
Very good food & good service!
Good food , great service, slightly over priced
It was probably a wrong choice. The location was good and the finish was good. But the food was not that good. Maybe it was not get ready because it was newly opened. Only a little choice from the menu and the cocktail was....just soso
After my husband emailed with them several times, they forgot my birthday and gave us a sub par table. The food is good and atmosphere is fun.
Disorganized waitstaff. Some extra spicy may came to the table as we where finishing.
All the restaurants affiliated, Every time I Go its the greatest expierience..
