   This is one of my favorite places for brunch. I drove up to Richmond from Raleigh N C to meet my daughter for her birthday. It did not disappoint. The French toast was perfect, my egg sandwich was deconstructed… and oh goodness… so perfect!!! Our waiter was attentive and accommodating. Great coffee too.

   First time in Quirk. Interesting decor with modern vibe touched by elegance. Ate in the Lobby Bar choosing from the Restaurant Week menu. Server knew the menu well and described choices when asked. Food was excellently prepared although Panna Cotta was a little too firm, it still was flavorful. It is very noisy which is part of the ambiance for young professionals. For us more mature folks, a table farthest away from the bar is a must. Companions want to try brunch. Will return in the near future.

   The Quirk Hotel's Lobby Bar was an experience in the eclectic. From the art on the walls to the art on the plates, every little detail was attended to. The fact that the predominant color in the hotel is pink made for a delightful surprise.

   Went for brunch. Pretty empty in the restaurant. After 20 mins of sitting, asked a manager if we had a waitress. Waitress came quickly after that. Ordered drinks and waited 15 more minutes. Ordered two glasses of champagne and three Shirley temples. The Shirley temples were awful. We went up to the bar to inquire if they were made with Sprite. Bartender tried the draft sprite and it was indeed out of syrup. After 45 mins, the girls finally got a drink. The sourdough bread and jam was by far the best food we ordered. The tuna nicsoise salad was the worst that I’ve ever had. The burgers were over cooked and tasted burnt. The French toast was delicious! There is no kid menu so we ordered the French toast with the toppings on the side. Perfect option for a kid but it was $16. It was a special day-Hamilton and brunch before with our tween daughters. While the show was fantastic, we were so disappointed with the service and food at Quirk. Spent $200 for a mediocre (at best) meal.

   Outstanding brunch in a beautiful location!!! Our rose vanilla latte and lavender latte were delightful. We absolutely loved the kimchi pancake, fried chicken sandwich, and pesto eggs with sausage. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I loved the room and decor- the pink accents and eclectic art are so fun!

    Had dinner with a friend here before Hamilton at the Altria. We shared a charcuterie starter (beautifully presented and served with a gel ginger palette cleanser 😉). Also split a bolognese pasta which was perfect. Cosmo, wine, bourbon & ginger and a speciality bourbon smash with ice. Beautifully designed space with lighting that was special. Pink hues and different spaces for different uses throughout the lobby bar. Loved it.

    We were there for a Bridal Brunch. We were practically the only guests there at 1pm. The food was good, the drinks were good... there were items that the didn't have or ran out of... a moonshine for a signature cocktail they offered, chocolate croissants and all desserts.

    Great food and cocktails! Friendly service. Initially were seated at a very wobbly table. We were reseated at another nearby table where we watched another couple seated at the wobbly table get drenched when an entire glad of water spilled. The staff did eventually fix the table after that, but it was a shame to watch a preventable and predictable event occur because the issue wasn't immediately addressed

    Wonderful dinner. Beet dip with fried pita was amazing; as was the “lamb meatball”, finished with pistachio ice cream and biscotti. Would recommend everything. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was whimsical. We are planning on coming back!

    The ambience and LOVE ❤️ sign was perfect for our Galentine's celebration and photo opp. The cocktails were pretty and tasty. The small plates ...olives, chicken wings...THE BEST Take on Brussel sprouts EVER. Last but not l east the spanakopta dip with the fresh bread omg.     The service was lovely and the area had a definitive aesthetic that worked. However, even though the food was cooked well, there was zero seasoning in any of the dishes we had. The spanikopita lacked any pepper salt or garlic, and the same went for both the lamb dish and ricotta gnudi. Was really hopeful and drinks started off well, but no flavor in the dishes.

    We went there for date night and had no idea that it was part of the Quirk hotel, so we ended up driving in circles for a while. It’s a nice ambiance. It’s definitely a high end lobby bar. The menu was over the top for our liking, but I am sure perfect for others. We ordered the risotto, mussels, and roasted olives. Although, I didn’t care for the risotto, it tasted like they put lime juice in it; my husband enjoyed it.

    Yummy food and drinks. Good service. Wait for drinks reasonable for busy bar on a Saturday night. Loved the brussel sprouts, the lamb dish and gnudi pasta dish. Would definitely come again. Would skin the cauliflower steak next time - was a tad undercooked.

    Great find! Unique gem in a grand open space. Food was some of the best we have experienced in Richmond and service was personable and efficient. There was even a gallery opening and an oyster pop-up happening at the same time!

    Started with their happy hour but decided to stay for dinner. The space has a grand feeling with a cheeky touch projecting old movies on the ceiling. We opted to share everything, which seemed the best approach, in order to try as many items as possible. Couldn’t name a standout, because everything was very good. There was an oversized Bavarian-style pretzel during the happy hour. That definitely stood out. Will be back!

    Great find! Friendly staff and a good variety of Mediterranean shareable plates. Only thing to note is that food comes out as it is prepared, so some items are very quick, and some may take a bit longer. Our group enjoyed this style, as we paired our dishes with some fun wine selections as well.

    Made reservations for Christmas night as myself and friend worked all day in the emergency department. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks (I had to ask hostess for drinks) because apparently only one wait staff. They ran out of 3 of the 4 main courses. So what limited options we had were very salty. Overall very disappointed with Christmas night. I’d have preferred they cancelled the reservation earlier so we could have found some place else.

    I rarely write reviews, but this experience required it. Service was so bad that it was comedic. 15 minutes for server to initially come by our table. Menu selection limited and the cod entre had maybe 2 ounces of fish. We got our appetizer after our meals when we reminded the server. Had been ready to serve for 45 minutes. Don't waste you time or money on this place. Overpriced mediocre food with terrible service./

    A terrible experience. We arrived at 6pm. After about 10 minutes a waiter showed up. Took drink and appetizer order. The drinks came promptly. The appetizer took over an hour. During that time the waiter never came by to explain or apologize. As soon as the appetizer came we got the check and left. Our plan was to have dinner but no telling how long that would have taken.

    We were here for dinner on Christmas. The restaurant is beautiful and the decorations were understated and lovely. Unfortunately the menu that was online was not available and only the appetizers were available. They were delicious and beautifully presented but we left still hungry after ordering a cheese platter, two “dinner-like” plates and the broiled Brussel sprouts.

    The decor was lovely. However, the pacing and service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. One entree came to table and the next two came out 9 minutes later. The final entree was another 7 minutes behind. As we did not want to eat cold entrees, we ended up waiting as long as possible, and then gave up each eating our lukewarm dinners in shifts. Frankly, the restaurant should have been embarrassed and provided some form of compensation on a 250.00 bill. Instead there was nary a mention of the abysmal service. Additionally, the entrees of the mushroom, ricotta gundi were very disappointing and I suggest removing that from your offerings. We tipped 20% as it was Christmas Eve and we have compassion for the servers working that evening. But as an establishment that presents as an upscale choice, the evening was a dismal failure.
