    Excellent service and high-quality food, but hesitant to go again due to ambient noise levels. Conversation at normal volume was difficult during lunch hour. Would go again if this were fixed.

    Lovely decor. Welcoming service. Maybe too welcoming — waiter touched me on the back three times throughout the evening. Food really disappointing: whole fish greatly overcooked and dry (and waiter refused to filet the whole fish as “it is not restaurant policy,”but he offered me tips on how to filet it myself.). The ratatouille bore no relation to the real dish and it contained filler. We had high hopes which were dashed.

    Second time we've been here was just as good as the first. The rotisserie _anything_ is out of this world. The service is exceptional, with well-rounded kind folks really taking care of you during your visit.

    This is such a cool new place. Excellent food. Service was fantastic - really!!!! And the atmosphere calming and beautiful. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed

    The Henri is the best new restaurant in the Metro Center area, perfect for a business meal, personal dinner or cocktails before heading out to the theater or sports event. It's beautifully designed, modern and sophisticated. The pre-set power lunch menu was fantastic, quick and very reasonably priced.

    I reserved a table for three. I found the the restaurant doesn’t cater to vegetarians only one item was available on the menu. Personally, I felt it had too much sauce on the potatoes and there were vegetables I had no idea what they were. So I ate very little and picked on my good like a child. My dessert was terrible. It was the rum cake. Which to me was a piece of bread with syrup on it. How dare they call it a rum cake. I was very disappointed with the food. I felt I could have done better at District Taco up the block. For this price it was an awful meal.

    Visited for a pre-concert birthday dinner. It was perfect. We were treated royally by everyone on the restaurant staff. The menu was exquisite. My friend ordered the scallops, as suggested by our server, David. She loved them. I ordered the grilled strip steak with frites. I requested a sauce with no mustard and the chef accommodated my request. The steak was outstanding and the sauce perfectly accentuated it. For dessert, my friend ordered the beignets. I ordered the rum cake at the suggestion of our server, which was delicious. We had an enjoyable dinner and our server was fantastic.

    Excellent experience! We had lunch late and weren't too hungry for dinner at our reservation time of 4:30 on a Saturday, so we asked to sit at the bar area so we wouldn't taking up a table just to order drinks and appetizers. Maître d' was very kind and offered to sit us in the dining room regardless. We chose to stick to the bar area and had attentive service from the bartender, who was on double duty training another staff member. Everything we ordered was delicious. We even got a few dollars off drinks because it was happy hour. And for any foodie parents out there, the staff was friendly to our kid (4 and 7 years old) and treated them just like any other patrons. They don't have kids menu, but our kids are used to eating family style sharing every dish, so it wasn't an issue for us that there weren't hamburger or chicken nuggets. We had coloring books with us to keep the kids occupied while waiting for the foods, which didn't take long.

    Enjoyed our first visit to the Henri. Disappointed that they were out of oysters (had checked out the menu beforehand). Also, no protein add-ons for salad options. Good spot to grab a bite before a show at National or Warner theaters.

    We had a wonderful dinner. We had a 3 course meal prior to attending a concert at the Warner. The food was delicious and well presented, came at the perfect time, every course. Our waiters were excellent, perfect service.

    Everything was wonderful. Never felt we were waiting for anything, drinks and food were delicious. Menu had just the right amount of food on it, I'm not a fan of places that have too much food selection on the menu. Overall a perfect dinner.

    The food itself was great, but that almost goes without saying. I think what captured me most was the presentation - the approach to plating is almost architectural in its construction, which is all the more impressive given that the quantity of food itself in each dish is quite generous.

    A tour de force in professionalism, grace and culinary delight! From the moment we arrived to the the moment we left the entire evening was superb in every respect and "set the bar" for our expectations for service and menu. Our waiter David (a Marine) was poised, professional and knowledgeable on each and every one of the superb items on the menu and the best wine pairings (we enjoyed lamb sausage, endive salad, carrot soup, lamb shank, duck entrecote, schnitzel and a bevy of deserts!. David was engaging, welcoming and extremely helpful. The food was absolutely magnificent and reflective of Frederick's attention to freshness and unique flavor combinations that make every course an adventure. A private tour by the owner (Frederick) rounded out the evening and left my guests from the UK enchanted with the entire experience and the care with which the staff at The Henri obviously provided everyone in the restaurant. Our new favorite for personal and now business dinners (private rooms) and a perfect "in town" compliment to Frederick's Bistro in Annapolis; Flamant! Well done!!!

    We went here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and was very happy with the choice. The food is incredible, the service is the best we’ve ever had, the attention to their customer is simply the best. Highly recommend this place to everyone that is looking for a fine restaurant experience.

    We sat in the bar area, so it was a little noisier at first, but didn't detract from our meal at all. The three of us shared many of the bar snacks and appetizers as our meals. It was a great way for those new to Henri to try a variety of dishes, including some delicious desserts. Even eating smaller plates, we were all very satisfied and pleasantly surprised that the bill wasn't higher than it was. Henri is a great place for great food in a beautiful setting with a very attentive and knowledgeable wait staff.

    Had lunch during Restaurant Week. Great service, very good food, and a very good deal for Restaurant Week. Small-ish dining room. When my wife and I were dining, it was only about half full, and fairly noisy. I imagine when full, it must be really loud. Still, I will definitely keep The Henri in mind when hungry and in this neighborhood!

    Best lunch deal on extended restaurant week. Food was excellent and so wasA the service. A little hard to find. It is on 13th Street across from the Warner Theatre. Not on Pennsylvania.
