NC puffer fish fried like shrimp, called Korean Sugar Toads on the menu, were perfect, as was the grouper collar on cheese grits, which was a nice variation on shrimp and grits. The cocktail onions gave it an extra zing. Service was friendly, helpful, and efficient.

An absolutely must try! Food is amazing every time we go. Prices can be on the higher side. However, it is a fine dining establishment and not a run of the mill franchise restaurant. It is our special occasion GO TO.

Food was delicious. Love the flavors that Chef Jamie creates in every dish. Every thing was cooked perfectly. I got the soft shell crab appetizer over a great slaw, the brined pork chop with lobster, and though I didn’t get a photo, the desert was an amazing crème brûlée over apples.

Not a restaurant for vegetarians!! Had a tomato basil risotto that had crumble feta cheese on top and no flavor. I sent it back because it was bland and I did not taste any tomatoes in it. So my other option was to order a second collard green salad to eat as an entrée after eating one at the very beginning of the meal. The waitress told me that the chef could not do a vegetable plate. That was disappointing after driving from Durham for a dinner. The cornbread is a little too sweet. But my husband and son enjoyed the oxtails with butter beans and sweet potato puree & spinach, flounder on a rack, pork belly and the sticky toffee pudding.
