The Guest House
We walked in at 5:45 p.m. with reservations, were greeted immediately and seated soon after. Noise level was lively but not overbearing. Decor was beautiful with 3 different lighting designs, soothing blue and wood treatments and cute lavender vases on each table. Server was friendly and helpful and our meals were uniquely flavorful and satisfying. Clay oven baked pizzas - the GF one as well - were delicious (Italian sausage and prosciutto and arugula) and we loved the crusts. Chicken with polenta was yummy. Mixed drinks and wine, with helpful suggestions from the manager, complimented the meals well. Pudding dessert (salted caramel) was very smooth and tasty while the ricotta cheese doughnuts disappeared in moments. Can't wait to return and try the other menu items!
We enjoyed the food except that the Brussel sprouts were overdone. Bleu pizza was great.
The cauliflower was outstanding. Tyler makes some of the best mixed drinks in Seattle
Ok service, food was tasty, but the steaks were cold, menu lacks variety, manager lacks smile, but the decoration and ambiance were excellent.
Brenna, our server, was great. She was very helpful regarding our food allergies and sensitivies. Also, the food was seasoned wonderfully.
Great place, very nice staff, homey and local feel, small menu but good at what they do.
Perfect dinner outside during sunset. We had roast chicken with creamy polenta and the market catch today which was Arctic char with beluga lentils. Started with the meat and cheese platter and two glasses of wine.
All were fantastic.
Found out we could have taken our dog if eating outside! Next time..
Great food and service
We shall return!
The pizza looks fantastic!
We've been looking for a wonderful neighborhood restaurant for years and finally we found it. Very friendly, good food, good service,... And close by!!!
Loved this place!! Took my husband for his birthday and had a lovely dinner. The roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious as were our entrees, Arctic Char and Roasted Cauliflower. We had wine but will be back for the good looking cocktails and other menu items. Warm atmosphere and great service too!
I can never say enough nice things about The Guest House. The food is outstanding, the service is wonderful, the venue is lovely (and not too noisy), AND it's so close to home! I let my kids pick where to go for dinner, and this was their #1 choice. I forgot to use my Passport card (what a great deal!), but I don't regret a penny - support local business and treat yourself!
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waiter provided excellent service—was attentive, but not overly so. And the food was very good—nice portions with rich flavors. We were on the quieter side of the restaurant and were able to hold conversations without straining to hear, unlike many of the newer restaurants.
Great food and fun environment if you want some good farm to table deliciousness. Make sure you save room for the best chocolate mousse with toasted s’more on top!
Great local place with good food and a nice ambiance. Just what the neighborhood needed.
Let's just say I walked in the snow 3 times to eat here one week. I absolutely love it.
We had a great meal, I had the cauliflower and loved it and I done even really like cauliflower! I have already recommended it to friends who were looking for a new place to try.
Great local spot on the east side. Pizzas are delicious.
The guest house has amazing food. We love having a neighborhood restaurant.
Excellent!! Great food, great service, fun venue!!
Our second time eating at The Guest House. Sometimes you return only to find the experience not as good the second time around - but it was every bit as excellent as we remembered. The polenta is worth the trip alone!
Good neighborhood restaurant. Nice decor. Food was good and service was good. Nice to see a decent restaurant in this area.
This restaurant has an incredibly delicious menu. Our server is always attentive and, and overall, it's a great experience for breakfast through dinner.
Consistent for excellent food, service and ambiance. Ideal for a couple, a family or a large group.
Food was outstanding,. Service too. Atmosphere is mostly hard surfaces, so a little noisey.
Excellent food. We went there for a mid-week business lunch. The outside of the restaurant still looks a bit unpromising, and the place was unfortunately nearly empty. That said, the salmon salad was fabulous, the service was good, and portions plentiful.
Great value. Feels locally owned and cared for. Excellent pizza and excellent fish. Consistent.
This is a place you can enjoy some chats+nice meal with your friends.
Good food and close to home. A little on the pricey side so we wouldn't make it a weekly thing. Could use more gluten free options.
Cute, quaint, great food and nice owner. Kids love the pizza and burgers here!
Had a great dining time with our family and friends. I had the trout.
The guest house had a warm atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The food was creative, attractive, and delicious.
We love this place, and go to it almost once a week as a family. We have a toddler and the restaurant, and staff, is very family friendly. The pizzas are great and the rotating menu has been awesome. Recommend the cocktails too!
