We went for brunch before a show at PPAC. The George was hoping, the DJ was great, our meals were delicious. Couldn’t ask for more at 11am! Great start to the day.

Brunch options were good. They don’t have waffles, anymore. Pancakes and French toast were good. Parking reasonable and live music and staff were great!

My husband and I lived The George, our meals were exceptional as well as our waiter (Dan). We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we're very pleased with everything.

I had received a gift card for my birthday from my Sister. She knows it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Providence, so the gesture was extremely thoughtful. My wife and I had made reservations on October 24th, we had been looking forward to a nice night out. To our surprise it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had out to dinner let alone at The George. Our waiter was zero bit attentive, never came back to check to see how our meals were (the chicken was not cooked). We got a second round of drinks which took a very lengthy time-we understand the bar can get backed up. I ordered a side of ice with my wine the first time and second time. The second time the waiter forgot, so I kindly reminded him. I could see into the waitstaff galley and he was standing there for another large chunk of time. Another worker went by our table and I asked him for a glass of ice to which he returned with right away (our waiter still standing in his “spot”). He did bring my ice eventually-the wine was gone. Didn’t offer a dessert menu and brought our check without trying yo upsell dessert or another beverage. We also used valet for our car. We gave the valet man our ticket to which he pointed to our car up the block and said it’s right there and gave us our keys. The service has gone downhill and sadly now we will have to find a new restaurant to enjoy in Providence.

Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Would like to see a couple of higher end white wines on the list.

We were seated promptlt and our server appeared immediately. He explained the specials, which were many, and took our drink order which is always a plus. The drinks arrived in short order and were tasty and smooth. The rest of the meal went smoothly with delicious food and excellent service from all involved. Would definitely recomend this restaraunt to all
