   Now that only Garden at Ellera is open (Ellera, the fancier side is closed), the overall experience is definitely less refined. Food quality very variable. Pizza good. Salads good. Pasta dishes have not impressed. Wine list too limited by glass. Specialty cocktails good. In need of better management & better trained servers.

   Things always get a little clunky during a management shift, and these guys are going through those pains for sure lately, but our evening last night was spot on! Our server was awesome - wish I got his name but he was working on the back patio dinner 11/4. We had 5 people and we were headed to a movie, so we put our order in right away and he got our drinks and food out very quickly

   Waiter took a long time for request after food was served. He brought bill before we finished dinner, he didn’t even ask about desderts. We even thought there weren’t any. Came later to push on close tab. Then we saw at her tables with dessert. We just left, will never come back

   My friend and I went here for Sunday brunch at 11:30am. There was only one other table. We left around 1:30 and by then, about 8 other tables had come. I’m shocked by the few people that were there! They’ve got a beautiful patio, delicious brunch options, and a generous mimosa flight (entire bottle, 4 juices for $30). I ordered the crab cakes egg Benedict and she ordered the French toast - both of which were very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

   One of the worst experiences ever. Ordered 2 cocktails and my blackberry smash was so tart with lemon that I could not drink it so I sent it back for them to redo. It took a really long time to get service from the initial water to appetizer etc. Our entree never showed up at all and waiter came by after 45 minutes and asked how our food was (that we never received). At that point we just wanted to cash out and go home. The manager came over as we were leaving and brought us our entrees to go and comped everything but the appetizer. Ate the pizza at home which was ok but not great and hubbys chef special chicken was not good at all. tastes like it was fried in old grease. They have a lot to fix at this place. Will not be back.

   We were there at 6:30 on a Sunday. It was mostly empty with just a few tables occupied. We ordered the fritto misto appetizer, and it was mostly fried crumbs of batter with a few over fried calamari rings. It seemed that we received what was at the bottom of the basket. We notified the server. My husband ordered the lobster roll and said it was very good. I ordered the lobster fettuccine. The “homemade” pasta had an odd texture, like maybe it was gluten-free instead. The lobster was over-cooked and rubbery and there was not a single ripe tomato in it. Many were pale pink and the others were green. Although the dish is described to have marscapone, there was no creaminess or richness. We advised the server and they comped that dish. We had eaten there a couple of years ago and it was quite good, so this was very disappointing. There are too many other choices, so I don’t think we’ll be back.

    My boyfriend took me on a date here for a romantic date night. We had the cinnamon mule and it was FANTASTIC! Tasted like fall in a cup! We had the crab cakes, lobster fettuccine , linguine with clams, and tiramisu! Cannot recommend enough, no complaints about anything!

    The entire experience was horrible. I had a reservation through Open Table. We were sat promptly then ignored for almost 20 minutes. Finally a waitress wearing short shorts took our drink order with much attitude. When almost 15 minutes had passed and still no sparking water/Diet Coke I looked for the waitress and she was sitting at the bar chatting with a person next to her where she remained for quite some time. Finally another waitress brought us our drinks- 15 minutes after we had ordered them. I thought the food would save the day but mine was over cooked and cold and the “Italian” bread the crab cake Benedict was on was an upside down hamburger bun! I understand staff on short supply but there were over 5-6 wait staff for approximately 10 tables. The table next to us got up and left due to no one coming over to them. I ate here months ago and everything was great. Not sure what has happened but with food and service like this I can’t imagine they will be last.

    Enjoyable! I had 2 of the specialty cocktails. Really liked the Gin and tonic special drink they had and the Blackberry smash was good too. Had the garden salad w shrimp. Excellent!

    Great family connection. We had members from 3 to 75 with a lot in between. Lovely environment, great setting and good service. Highly recommend this place for food, service and ambience.

    Very disappointing. Lobster bisque was both watery and way over-salted. It was sent back (and I rarely resort to that). Penne arrabbiata was ok , not great. Bread was small, dry portions. Other entrees were meh except for the lobster roll which got rave reviews. Ambiance is very nice. Service was acceptable. It’s over priced on almost all items.

    Made reservations for my friend's birthday brunch. We arrived at noon and was surprised the upper garden was closed however, the restaurant and patio were open. We had a lovely 6 top table under the beautiful oak tree, at the time we arrived we were the only party on the deck! Thankfully about 30 minutes later a few more folks decided to sit out on the patio as well. The drinks were amazing - we had the signature Bloody Mary and Lavender Lemonade (which was delicious!) Of course, we had had several of the brunch menu items. The pastrami hash with potato's, eggs benedict, and scallop poor boy. We love this place and are so happy that is has come through the pandemic in tacked. Can't wait to get back over there on cooler days!

    Haven't been there for a while. Certainly not on their game. The music was deafening, and we could not have a conversation. We asked that it be turned down. Sad to see this happen. The food was mediocre.

    This restaurant is so cute and I had driven by many times wanting to stop in. It took over 45 minutes to get our drinks, all the food was cold & seemed like it had been microwaved. The restaurant was not busy but the staff seemed overwhelmed. Our server was kind and did the best he could (it was his first day). Very disappointed and will not be returning

    We recently dined at the newly opened Garden at 704 and had a great experience so we thought we’d try a different location. Same menu, different experience. We were seated for 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. Our appetizers arrived within minutes but our entrees were right behind. When we pointed out the bad timing they were taken back to the kitchen and I can only imagine put under a lamp for 15 minutes. The staff was nice about it/apologetic and I fully appreciate that it’s still a hard time for the service industry. It’s a good menu, the execution is just much better at 704.

    Mussels were excellent however the lobster pasta was gluggy stuck together and no herb flavors at all. The meat pasta was a little better however it too lacked flavor.

    The food was inferior and the ingredients' quality was poor. The food was tasteless and cold. The menu was limited - no bread and olive oil, no meatballs, no chicken, and the pizza was very oily. The service was poor as well. Will not go back.

    The Garden has a yummy Crab Cake Benedict. Definitely recommend trying it. There was only one server for the majority of our visit, and I could tell they were very “weeded”.

    Overall the experience was okay. The restaurant was warm with many fly’s inside. The food came out quickly but was under the expectations I’d have for the price. The lobster was chewy and tasteless compared to other comparable restaurants I was a bit disappointed.
