   Menu a little pricey. Although I liked the half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Karaoke too loud. We couldn't hear each other speak. Service was good. Food was good.

   I booked a reservation for 11:15 PM and got to the Fortunate Fox for 11:20 PM. When we got to the bar they were already closing up (I imagine due to the poor weather there weren't many people on the streets out and about). We were expecting to eat and have some drinks as we'd made a reservation. They were kind enough to at least let us look for another restaurant in the area indoors, the Bartender kindly offered us both a drink on the house. The cocktails were delicious, I can't speak for the food as we couldn't order any. The staff were pleasant.

    The resto showed real promise when we arrived. Nice atmosphere. Pleasant servers. In the end the food was over cooked and repeated mistakes were made with drink orders. They need to tighten things up.

    Didn't like anything at all!!! the waiters are not attentive, the service is at a low level. McDonald's food is 100% tastier and cheaper. drinks so-so, beer tasted like diluted with water!!! Can't recommend this place enough

    Tried the fish and chips and my friends had the pepperoni pizza. Food was on point and although I wanted a little more options of fries, I have absolutely nothing but compliments. Great place!

    Planned on going for only a drink, ended up staying for 4 hours. The venue is cozy and the manager made was super attentive. My friend told she didn't drink alcohol and he immediately offered to make her any mocktail she wanted. He made a Mojito with passion fruit that was delicious. Will definitely come back to try the board games and the darts.

    The food was great. The chicken wings, hot honey, is delicious. I had ordered the steak frites, it was seasoned well and thick cut of steak. The margaritas were yummy. The only issue was the service. Since there’s no set server, we had a couple different staff come and check on us and we placed our orders with a bit of confusion. Other than that, will be coming back!

    Honestly it was quite the painful experience. They were out of half the menu but the servers didn't know so we had to reorder multiple times. Dishes came out 10-15mins apart after a long wait. The servers were friendly and trying their best, but management clearly set them up for failure. They were very ill prepared for a Friday evening.

    I came in with a friend and the place wasn’t that busy. The service was very disappointing. It took a long time to order and once the food came nobody came by to check on us. I had to find somebody to get the bill. Food was mediocre as well.

    I love this restaurant because of so many reasons. First of all, the food is fantastic especially the meatball hero, it's a flavourful food and the bread is crunchy and this combination makes you feel heaven. Secondly, the staff was really polite and caring and they are fast too. Another thing I loved that night, was the live music and the energy in the air. Before I forget, please try their Fish&Chips. That's unbelievable. Trust me. Thanks for your nice and cozy restaurant.

    This food was very expensive for what we received. One order was fully made wrong, one looked like it came with Kraft processed cheese. The waitresses acted like we were inconveniencing them by being there. We ordered mimosas (which were insanely priced) and took forever to get them, and tasted like they were made with tang. I would never come back to this place. The only thing it has going for them was how cool the room was decorated.

    Our first visit to the Fortunate Fox was very unmemorable. Service was very slow, and it was almost 15 minutes until someone greeted our table for the first time (and there were only a few tables seated, it was not busy.) I had read about the slow service in the reviews prior but we still wanted to give this place a shot. However, our server was friendly and nice, perhaps just not experienced which I know is the case in the service industry these days. Food was good, nothing outstanding. It's a fine place to stop if you're in the area, though I wouldn't recommend it compared to the 100s of other options Toronto has to offer. I think with some more training given to the staff/ service standards, this could become a great place!

    They served on of our meals then left us. No follow up. When my friends meal went past reasonable for no show our waitress was MIA. Finally signaled someone else who checked. Apparently there was some mix up where the order was lost so we had to wait for it to be prepared. After we finished they took my friends plate and I asked for a box to take my leftover home. Had to ask a second time to get my box. The food was OK but clearly they were short staffed or allowed people to sit in a wider area than they could moniter

    Tables of eight or more are put on the same bill, but we were not given any warning of this via OpenTable when we made the reservation. Two of us needed to leave early and tried to settle our tab, which is when we found out the entire table had been put on one bill. We informed our server of what we ordered and asked her to print a bill for just our items but we were met with a firm "no." The manager on duty eventually split our two items from the bill, but the rest of our group experienced a nightmare settling up at the end of the night. If we had been informed when we made the reservation that we would be forcefully grouped on one bill with no option to split items off, we would have simply gone somewhere else. It would be great if OpenTable can add a note about this to the booking website. I love this restaurant and will continue to come, but the rest of my party are still reeling from the experience and confused why I even suggested the establishment given the hostility and hassle they experienced, so I cannot in good conscience recommend this experience to my colleagues and friends again.
