The food was great and plenty of it. In addition, the view overlooking the river is an idilic setting for a romantic meal for 2. Booking is highly advised and for good reason.

From the minute I booked online everything was very good. Contacted me to check we were still coming. Taken to table, which was where I had asked we could sit. Immediately we were asked what we would like to drink, and there were menus, and a drinks list. Service very good, food - choice and quality excellent. We all had a fantastic time. Can’t wait to book again. Highly recommend.

Friendly welcome on a beautiful day and shown to our table inside with the best views over the River Teifi where we could watch the passing boats along with the various wildlife.
Our waiter was very pleasant and efficient. We both ordered the Welsh burger with salad and chips and thought they were the best burgers either of us had ever tasted. Neither husband nor I could find room for desserts unfortunately but enjoyed a pint of Reverend James and a Rev James shandy respectively. Will definitely return when we are in the area and highly recommend to others.

Only had a main course which was excellent. The special of sea bass was delicious and more like food from a top end restaurant, not a pub! We sat downstairs and had a great view of the estuary. Drinks were reasonably priced. The food was not cheap, but well worth the money for such a great meal. Staff were excellent. Would be very happy to return.

My wife had the lobster which cost £34.00. It was overcooked and the meat stuck to the shell, there were no implements to remove the meat from the legs and there were no side plates to put the shell. I had mackerel which were OK but again there were no side plates to put the bones and the main plate was full of rocket which had little or no dressing

We had a fantastic Brazilian beef dish which was a shared dish between two, but could in fact have fed four people. Service was good, staff very friendly, nice ambience overlooking the river.

We were recommended The Ferry Inn by our AirBnB host (Oshi @ Felindrych, Mynachlogddu). We were out walking for the day and decided to make a reservation at the last minute. We were dismayed to see that there were only tables for two people left, but we made a reservation anyway and crossed our fingers. On our arrival we explained that we needed seating for two adults and one child and they were gracious in making space for us, which we very much appreciate. The ambience of the place was very charming and the food was exceptionally good. The waiters were all welcoming and friendly and the meal was one of the highlights of our long weekend away in Pembrokeshire. Highly recommended, just make sure to book well in advance to avoid any disappointment!

First time we've been here and the view from the balcony was amazing, it did help the sun was shining, but later on the patio heater was a bonus. The staff were very attentive and the food was great. Only thing I would comment on was the gravy on the Pork Belly was far too salty and spoilt the meal, but other than that very good.

This place never lets us down. We changed our reservation several times and last minute to accommodate 2 extra and they couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We have a lovely table in my favourite part of the restaurant. Was a magical end to a special day. Thanks all at The Ferry, we’ll see you again soon.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and showed to our table which overlooks the river Teifi. The internal décor was well suited to the name with memorabilia from various years. All the staff were superb and service was amazing. The atmosphere of the Ferry Inn was lovely and it was an idyllic end to a long weekend in St Dogmaels. The only reason why I marked the food down slightly is that my Belly Pork was rather tough and the topping was also. My wife's vegan meal was amazing and both meals were plentiful (so much so we couldn't move after and we only had a main course) I would highly recommend the Ferry Inn and is within easy walking from St Dgmaels itself or Cardigan.
