   This was our first visit to The Farmhouse, and it will not be our last! The venue is absolutely beautiful. The service was amazing. The food was by far the best I've had in The Shanandoah Valley!

   It was a beautiful setting for our celebratory dinner for our son’s college graduation. The service was impeccable. The food and its presentation was wonderful. The wine pairings were perfect. The substation meal for our daughter, who has celiac, was excellent. The outdoor setting at sunset was absolutely stunning. It was a fittingly perfect capstone to our graduation weekend festivities!!    Beautiful place. Food and wine were good. Servers were very nice. Service takes too long between dishes. Water glasses could have been filled quicker. Dirty dishes stayed in front of us too long. Otherwise a neat experience!

    Such a memorable Mother's Day Brunch. My mom and I treated ourselves and can't wait to go back next year. The space was beautiful and bright. The service was perfection. The food was absolutely delicious. A lot of food quality has taken a dive post-COVID, and that was not our experience at The Farmhouse. The food was as scrumptious as ever. Thank you for treating mom's right on our special day! Fingers crossed we can come back next year.

    This place is an absolute charm. We were staying at the B&B when we had dinner service. We travel often and to a lot of different (beautiful) places...but this place....stole. my. heart. They have figured out the art of relaxation, service, calm, beauty. It was an absolute pleasure staying and eating with Veritas. I will be back every year if I can manage it <3

    This was our second dinner this week. Chef prepared a special menu so we could come dine again. Service was stellar as always and food was delicious!     Every meal at Veritas is exquisite. The food is delicious, the plating beautiful, and the service is unmatched anywhere else! This meal was for my birthday and we were placed in a private dining room all to ourselves. Chef John came out to greet us and answer questions. Alex and the rest of the staff met our every needs.     Dinner at the Farmhouse was elegant, yet not stuffy. The waiter and waitress slipped in an out of the room almost without being noticed. The food was succulent and it is hard to say what my son or liked better: The Stinging Nettle Soup, the scallops or the duck. All were prepared to perfection. The wines were perfectly paired. I can't wait to go back with my husband.

    Exquisite in every respect! Delectable food prepared with masterful artistry, and absolutely perfect, attentive service with every detail.     Everything was outstanding. Very small venue. Really liked the wine pairing with the meal. They greet you with sparkling wine. I was able to get a few extra pours of sparkling wine while waiting to be seated. First course was some type of soup, second course was scallops, main course was duck breast, and desert was some kind of cream with peaches. Well worth the price.

    We had an outstanding time at the Farmhouse - called ahead of time to let them know that we had a group of six for a bachelorette celebration (we did the four course tasting) and they let us kindly know we had a private dining room. The lady on the phone was very accommodating on last minute dietary restrictions and we even were able to change the menu heading for our event. When we arrived, we had attentive service and were able to explore the beautiful area as well. The meal itself was delicious and we really appreciated that they changed the dishes for those with dietary restrictions. Each course came with its own wine that an employee would come in and describe to us. Everyone we talked to was extremely polite and attentive (and our glasses were generously poured!) We can't say enough good things about the food, experience, and the wine was delicious as well! Would highly recommend for a special occasion or date night!

    We were disappointed in our experience overall. Dinner was delayed for at least 20 minutes because some guests had not arrived yet. Really? The food was not as good as when I have eaten there before, and therefore seemed overprices to us. It will be a while before we return.

    Fantastic wine paired dinner. Elegant asparagus soup with a nice Sauvignon Blanc. Then amazing duck leg with plum sauce and pickled plums! Lovely Cabernet Franc with that. Bison filet, beautifully seared was the main along with their perfect Claret. Dessert was a Persian love cake with a delicious dessert wine. Beautiful place and beautiful evening!
